Estimate process was excellent. We had some very bad experiences with other companies prior to Mr. Window (i.e. Unique Home Solutions). I was leery of the high sales pitch that might come and the pressure that day. However, Mr. Window exceeded my expectations during this process. I set the expectations early that we have alot of windows in this house and we only want to do the ones with the most damage. Chris Pasa came out and did an estimate, nothing high pressure whatsoever. He showed several different windows, much more reasonably priced and what we expected. We walked that evening with an estimate. My wife and I talked it over and called them a few weeks later to do the job. Chris was as professional as they come. I really enjoyed working with him. One of the owners came out not long after to measure the windows, wasn't here maybe 20 minutes. Told me the next step in the process and how long it would take. 4 1/2 weeks later, I get the call that the windows are in. It was scheduled 2 days later for install which was today. The installers came out and told me what to expect. They didn't play around. They were here on time, did the job well, were very professional and had me check out their work at the end. I was very happy through the process. The window looks pretty darn close to the old windows in terms of matching the wood we had. The 8 windows we had installed (6 triple pane and 2 double pane) seem to have made a difference thus far. It's not cold in that room. Time will tell if that fixes the issue but I think it has. These guys are A+ grade to work with. I will definitely use them again when I do our next windows this fall. I haven't dealt with a company from the time I met them to the time the service ended that was more pleasant. I even had a follow up call from Chris Pasa to check in. Very impressed.

In total, Mr. Window did good work and we would use Mr. Window again for future projects. Our overall grade of Mr. Window is a B+. Mr. Window employees are responsive, punctual, and professional. Mr. Window employees worked with us to find the products that best served our needs. Additionally, we liked that Mr. Window had a showroom we could visit with multiple options. One overall drawback, however, was price. Mr. Window prices were higher than competitors, but the service provided makes up for the differential (for the most part). While small, we had two installation criticisms. First, the manufacturer of the windows affixed an energy efficiency rating sticker to each window. Mr. Window removed the stickers, but this left a noticeable film on each window. Mr. Window didn't clean off the film. We had to windex every window to remove the film. Second, Mr. Window didn't caulk the inside of the windows. This may have been intentional based on our project specifications, but we would have appreciated a heads up. There was clearly some mixup. Nonetheless, this leads us to one more positive point. Under our warranty Mr. Window sent a guy to caulk all of the windows once we noticed the omission. In total, we were pleased with the work.

They were very courteous and responsive. The installer took his time, and things went very smoothly.

All around, a excellent experience. We love our new windows and have already called them about a door and more windows. Mr. Window quoted and replaced 12 windows in our home. Chris made the intial measurements and quote which Mick Widmeyer came and verified. Both appointments were prompt, punctual, polite and efficient. There was a slight delay due to the windows not being delivered to Mr. Window on time, but the communication from Mick and Chris was timely, thorough and accurate. When the windows were delivered, the work was completed in less time than originally scheduled . The installers were right on time, quick and courteous.

I give them all a's. I would use them again.

Following our initial very positive experience with Chris, the owner came out to remeasure all the windows to finalize the order. We were very pleased with the care taken to make certain everything would be right when the order was delivered. The installation could not have been more pleasant. The installers were very experienced, and the process itself went very smoothly. It was a two day job and when I arrived home on the first day, I was amazed at how clean they left everything. This was one of the most positive experiences with a contractor I have ever had. I cannot recommend this company enough!

Very well and pleased with their work. Everyone involved from sales to installers were very professional and prompt. No high sales pitch, they let the product and company speak for themselves. That is why I hired them. I would not hesitate to hire them again.

The window was installed today. We are very satisfied with the whole experience. The installers were professional, polite, and very cabable. We are completely happy with the window and the quality of the work done.

Got a quote from Chris who was very knowledgeable about the product and had great recommendations. The windows arrived and fortunately weather cooperated and over the course of the next several days the windows were put in. Same crew everyday showed up at the same time. The windows look great. The guys were great with any questions I had and kept me informed of what they were doing next. They were effficient and were non disruptive for a very big job. I had the security company come out to reconnect the alarm and he even said the guys did a great job and took extra care to do it right so he was able to rewire with no problem.

They did an excellent job, and I am very happy with the service I received. They were efficient. They had the windows in and were gone before noon. They didn't make a mess. They made sure to do 1 window at a time so they didn't let the cold air in. I would highly recommend them.

In the midst of a remodeling project that included the installation of new floors the week before Christmas, while ripping out the old floors and installing new subfloor, my flooring contractor discovered that water had been seeping in around the door frame and the subfloor near the base of the door was rotted through. Having used Mr. Window in the late '90's, I called them to see how quickkly they could take a look at the damage and give me an estimate for repairs and/or replacement. When I explained that I was in the midst of laying new floors and had discovered this damage, the staff immediately connected me with the owner, Mick Widmeyer. Mick arranged to have one of his salemen, Chris Pasa, stop by the house that morning. Chris showed up as promised and determined that the door would need to be replaced. Chris did an excellent job of explaining my options and was very sensitive to the time crunch I was facing. Though we would have to order a new door, taking weeks for delivery, Chris and my flooring contractor discussed a "work around" that would allow the flooring project to move forward without being delayed by the installation of the door. The door arrived a few days earlier than estimated and Mick's team - Mike and Mike (great guys!) - came out and installed the door. They did a fantastic job -- they were efficient, professional and very detail oriented. They did a very thorough job of removing all the rotted wood and damaged frame around the door, and expertly repairing the area. The screens for the door had inadvertently been left off the truck, but they returned a few days later and again, did an expert job of installation. The "Mike and Mike" team are exactly that -- a team of experienced guys who take great pride in their work. I plan to have Mr. Window install new windows throughout my home soon and the "Mike and Mike" team will be my team of choice.

Chris was the salesperson who provided our original estimate. He was on time and answered all of our questions and spent the necessary time with us. Pat Hardy was the installer. Both individuals were professional and a pleasure to work with. We have used Mr. Window before to replace our patio door. The experience was great both times and we will continue to use them for other projects. Mr. Window is a great local company with owners and employees who care about their work.

The crew was excellent and got right to work as soon as they got here. They were very polite and respectful and did a wonderful job installing our windows! They look great both inside and out and I'm extremely happy with the final product.

They showed up on time for the estimate, the estimate was exactly what I ended up paying. They accepted a credit card payment over the phone. The installers were wonderful and were here exactly when they said they would beas well . They cleaned everything up after installation. The window looks great. I will definitely use them when my other windows need to be replaced.

Replaced 2 large 48" x 48" basement windows to improve safety and insulation characteristics. Salesman came and discussed options, took measurements provided a precise estimate. After paying one-third deposit, owner, Mick Widmeyer, came and double checked measurements. Windows were installed one month later by company installer, who was professional and exceptionally qualified. I couldn't be more pleased.

The work done was excellent and the crew was very friendly and competent. We wouldn't use any othe company for this kind of work. We were very pleased for the third time.

The installers were very professional and the windows look very nice. We also wanted the wood on the outside covered all the way to the brick of the house in order that we have no painting to do in the future.. The salesperson said they cover the brick mold so we thought that meant all of the wood would be covered. When the installer started, I made it clear that all of the wood was to be covered and learned that the "brick mold" didn't include all of the wood. The salesman came out and we agreed that we would pay for the extra product necessary and they would cover the installation. This was a situation where each of us thought we were clear and were not. I feel it was handled fairly. We had already replaced the windows on the backside of our home with a different company. We were satisfied with the windows but felt they were very expensive and that is why we looked to Angies List to supply a different option. Our windows front and back look very similar. The amount we saved was significant and we seem to have a quality product.

My experience working with everyone at Mr. Window was excellent! The sales person did a thorough job explaining the pro's and con's of various windows and was very helpful. He provided detailed information to help me make an informed decision but did not use high pressure tactics or gimmicks to make the sale. The owner came out to take final measurements and personally thank me for the business. The office staff worked with me on scheduling and kept me well informed when an unexpected change in the schedule occurred. The installation team did a fantastic job and they were all very professional, courteous, and accomodating. The team arrived onsite as scheduled and quickly got to work. It was evident by the quality of their work, and the efficiency in which they completed the job, that they were very experienced in their craft. The windows look great, the work completed, and the job site cleaned thoroughly, in less than a day. Thanks.

I need several windows replaced including two difficult windows. From start to finish the sales rep acted like he had better things to do. Is is too much to ask to get a quote on ~25 windows. First, the guy called to confirm the appointment, fine. Then he said b/c that's a long way to drive if I wasn't going to show. Okay, he has a bad attitude, maybe his latte' was cold this morning. When he showed up he was professional enough, took measurements and talked me through their process. I had the actual Pella guy come out about 3 days earlier who quoted 100% proline windows. The Mr Window guy said I couldn't have that and NEEDED to go to the next higher model. Sounds like money to me. So I thought I'd wait for the quote to see if these guys are competitive. He calls a couple days later and says he has a price on the two windows and asks if there is any point in quoting the rest. Okay, now he has a bad attitude and is lazy. They were significantly higher than the other price and I asked about the pro-line again. He did some more research and then called back and said that was the best he could do. There wasn't even any attempt to provide a quote for the rest of the business. On top of that he when he was at my house he kept saying that he didn't have samples of windows with him and I'd have to go to his showroom to see samples. This was b/c it was too cumbersome to carry around wood windows. Not true. The Pella guy brought samples with him. My advice, these guys are okay, but no where near top honors if you're looking for a quality aluminum clad wood window. Stick with the manufacturer recommended rep. Not sure if anybody else who so highly recommended them had anyone else out to quote, but I doubt it otherwise these guys wouldn't have half the 'A's' that they do.

Theycame when they said thhey would; they did the work as promised; they performed flawlessly and were extremely courteeous!
