From the sales rep, Chris, to the installers, Pat and Scott, I couldn't have had a better experience. My house is 21 years old and still had the original aluminum windows that were put on during construction. I've lived in the house for 10 years and knew the windows were drafty and letting too much heat escape. I received 3 estimates and decided to go with Mr. Window because of their product and their price. They weren't the cheapest nor the most expensive, but I was very impressed with the OKNA brand of windows that they suggested. The windows are manufactured on the East Coast and seemed to be a good buy for the price. Also, Mr. Window was the only company that said they would remove my blinds or window treatments and replace them once the windows were installed. (With the other companies I would have had to do that myself or hired another person to do it.) I ordered the windows in September and they were installed in November. Pat and Scott arrived on time on Thurs Nov 15 and returned again on Friday, Nov. 16. The only glitch is that the manufacturer misread the order and failed to ship 3 windows. Those came in 2 weeks later and Pat and Scott came back on Thurs., Nov. 29 and finished the job. They also replaced a couple pieces of rotten wood on one of the windows at no extra cost. So far I have been very happy with the results. Already my home seems warmer than before and I expect to see a change in my heating bills this winter.

I talked to three companies about the replacement and decided to go with Mr Window. The salesman was knowledgeble; the product and replacement process both sounded superior. Before the order was placed, the owner of the company came by to introduce himself and look at the project. On November 14, my door was installed by two men who were polite and efficient. They took away the old door and frame, cleaned up the area and the whole process took about three hours. I LOVE my new door! My entire experience with Mr Window was positive. I would definitely use them again.

We had two other companies measure. One was never heard from again. Great experience from the sales call (Chris) though installation. Family feeling for everyone we talked to from the company. Installers stayed with the job and worked at a steady but good pace. Final product is as good or better than what we expected. Excellent experience.

After getting prices for replacement windows from 4 different sources we chose Mr. Window because we thought they offered the best value even though they were not the least expensive bid. The windows were ordered and a few weeks later they were installed over the course of two days right on schedule. The workman were very friendly and professional and cleaned up the work site when they were done. Mike Sullivan, the salesman came by afterwards and we walked around and checked every window. There were two windows that I was not pleased with the caulking and he made note and they were out within a few days to take care of them. Now that the windows have been in for a couple of months I just wanted to report that I am very pleased with not only the company but also the quality of the windows. With cold weather approaching I'm sure they will save energy compared to our old windows and they have improved the appearance of our house considerably. I cannot rate this company or the windows they installed highly enough. Should you choose Mr Windows for your project I'm sure you will be just as pleased as we are.

He did not have any information for me, he came un-prepared. He said he would get me a quote by the end of the day and I have never heard back from them.

Four gentleman promptly arrived at my home at 8:30am. They were very clean and made certain not to damage anything by taking the proper precautions such as placing plastic covering over the floor.They finished around 2:30 pm and there was no remnant left of the work they had done.

They came on time and installed 15 new windows in about 4 hrs. A perfectly, professional job. They cleaned up before they left, Price was as quoted. About a week or two later we had our house painted and we need a piece of special flashing. Mr. Windows made the piece to our measurements. It matched everything else perfectly. They provied a free tube of matching caulk, and the chore was 0!! a great place to do business!!!

Overall my experience with Mister Window was good. There were a few cosmetic issues, dings and scratches from either the installation process or shipping. All issues were promptly taken care of. Mike was easy to work with and made sure that I was completely satisfied. I was a little concerned about how much of the existing window frames were being removed. The installers can't use power tools on windows with lead paint so they had to bust out the sashes manually, leaving gashes and large chunks missing. However, once they installed the aluminium flashing everything look very nice. The windows have been installed for a couple of months now and I have had no issues with them thus far. I feel confident that if any issues were to arise, Mike and his colleagues will stand by the their installation and products. My neighbors have all complemented me on how nice the new windows look. The windows are a huge improvement over the old ones. How much I will save on my energy bills remains to be seen. Another plus with Mr Windows is they do not use contractors.

When all the wood on the exterior of our house started to deteriorate, we had many major projects to complete. We were surprised that it was difficult to find a company who wanted to take time to understand our needs, offer informed opinions, and then follow up to see if we had questions after our initial conversation. That is, until we met Chris Pasa at Mr. Window at 902 E. 106th Street in Indianapolis... Chris was willing to sit down with us to understand what we wanted and considered the limitations imposed by covenants in our neighborhood. He offered suggestions that made sense -- and made us feel comfortable that the decisions we made were the right decisions for us and our situation. In the end, we replaced all our windows with Restoration vinyl clad windows which were scheduled to be installed while we were on Fall Break with our daughter so we got to watch the installation. The install crew (Mike, Pat, Mike, and Chris) arrived as scheduled -- even calling to let us know they were caught in traffic and running a few minutes behind the first day. After a quick walk around, they explained how they would like to proceed and immediately set about getting the job done. As one window was removed, another was set in place. The crew was personable and welcomed our questions about "how" the windows differed from the ones coming out and how they installed them to make sure the best fit was created, which included making sure supporting structures were sound and that the install included proper insulation and caulking to insure against air infiltration from openings around the frame. The replacement doors were like the ones we took out -- same leaded glass pattern on the full view glass and sidelights. Mike even helped me remove the decorative glass inserts from the doors we were replacing because I wanted to keep them for future use in other projects. There was some sill damage at both door openings and Mike repaired it before setting the new doors. We noticed on the first day that the crew worked through lunch, so we served Pizza Hut on day two. We felt very fortunate that the crew was willing to stop for a while to eat with us and it gave us the chance to get to know them personally while thanking them for a job well done! Our new windows and doors look fantastic! When we wanted to change a couple details (add full screens, instead of half screens; have blinds between the window panes, etc.), they took care of these without a problem. And, did we mention that the installation crew even re-installed our window coverings when they finished the job? OUTSTANDING SERVICE!

Installers were on time and very professional. The clean up of our property when they finished was very good. We are very satisfied with the quality of the windows and would use this company again.

The window was installed one month after it was ordered. The installer did a great job. I really like my window.

All went very well. The door arrived from the factory sooner than expected, so we were able to beat some of the cold weather. The installer, Chris, arrived exactly on time and finished the work in a timely manner. The work was done well and professionally. When Chris left, except for the new door, you could not tell he had even been there.

The service was excellent. While they were here, they also fixed another window free of charge. They were very punctual, professional, and tidy. We have used them 3 times already.

We are very pleased with Mr. Window. We had had another supplier install windows in another area of the house and were most disappointed with him. Mike Sullivan of Mr. Window arranged repair of that window as well as the others in the 2nd area of the house. The job was done promptly. The crew went to great lengths to minimize dust in the house, sealing off the work area. Workmanship was professional and very well done.

I was looking for two window replacements and a satisfied customer suggested I see Mr. Window. I went to the office/showroom and met with Chris, a salesman there. He seemed very informed and helpful. I selected Restorations product as being what I wanted to go with. I contacted Angies list to learn if they could put me in contact with a person who had written a specific report in the list. They arranged it so the person called me. He was very helpful concerning his experience with Mr. Window. I completed the transaction for two replacement windows and was scheduled, with my agreement, for installation during a week I had some other work being done on the property. Mick Widmeyer was accommodating and talked with the people already working on site to insure no conflicts would occur. On the appointed day, Pat showed up in a Mr. Window truck with my two windows. He required about 2.5 hours to complete the job. He was in a race with the weather since rain was moving in but he got the job done just as the rain started. During this he answered my questions about the installation both inside and outside. He also helped in moving some furniture and checked me out on operation of the window. Finally, he cleaned up after he was done.

Chris Pasa came out to take measurements, and discuss options with us. He was very easy to work with - answered all of our questions, and took the required measurements. WIthin 1 week, he called to set up the second appointment at the showroom, to see samples of Mr Windows products: windows and doors. We were very satisfied with the estimate - the total $$ (for both windows and doors) came in right about where we had hoped. We were especially impressed with the Okna 500 series windows (which is what we choose). The installers came when scheduled, and completed the work to our satisfaction. We are very happy with the result - the windows and doors look great, and the front of the house (with the new picture window, new front door and other new windows) really looks so much better. We have received several compliments from neighbors , family, friends on the changed appearance of our house; especially the front, with the new windows and front door. Thanks Mr Window!

I secured several estimates from other Angies List members (A ratings) before reaching out to Mr. Window. I had one of the other A rated members replace my eleven sunroom windows but it was a bad experience. My neighbor mentioned they had used Mr. Window for some window and door replacement projects. I visited Mr. Window's showroom one afternoon and spoke with Michael. He showed me the products, discovered my needs and we set up an appointment at the house a few days later. Michael arrived on time for the appointment. He measured the windows, talked a little about the company and showed my wife a few of the windows that I had seen in the showroom. We talked about double vs. triple pane and he advised against the triple pane stating it really wasn't necessary in our climate. We talked about replacement vs. full frame/tear out replacement. He said they do both but the typical replacement was the most common. Given that I had done quite a bit of research on my own, I had an idea what I wanted. We replaced 17, twenty five year old wood DH's with Sunrise Restorations DHs with, triple plane argon filled glass, full screens, between the glass grids, bronze hardware all with white interiors and a sandstone exterior. They estimated that it would take five weeks until install. Michael was out of the house within an hour. A few days later the owner stopped by to get specific measurements and review the order. We confirmed everything and I was notified later in the day that the order was placed. The windows were installed exactly five weeks from the date we originally met. The installers were on time, professional and very caring. The finished the downstairs the first day and then finished the upstairs the morning of the second day. My wife was home with a cold during the install. The second day, the installers and sales rep, Michael asked her how she was feeling. They left the house exactly as they found it, replacing window treatments and removing debris. In fact, they even disposed of some interior moulding we had on our driveway from some flooring projects. I would highly recommend Mr. Window! I had a great experience.

This was a delightful experience from beginning to end. Michael Sullivan (our salesman and the one who did our estimate) is very knowledgeable and professional. He is thorough and and even followed up with us during the installation itself. We were also able to see samples of the windows at the showroom which was very helpful. Mic Widmeyer did a final measurement before ordering the windows which ensured a perfect fit. We replaced our wood windows with the fiberglass Restorations windows. The product we purchased comes with a lifetime warranty (unlike 10 years for wood windows). They matched our wood trim inside exactly and it is almost impossible to distinguish them from wood windows - and they do not need any maintenance. Also we were able to get the windows with grids in the middle of the glass to match the grid look we had in our wood windows. The installation was absolutely amazing. They installed all of the windows (12 windows) all in one day - including the caulking. They also took down and then reinstalled our blinds and window treatments. I cannot say enough good things about this company and the quality of their product and labor. This is the best experience with contractors I have ever had (and we have had a multitude of projects done in the past 20 years)!!

Door was installed on schedule. The was a problem with the screen and it had to be replaced. The replacement screen was installed about three weeks later.

The workers were very friendy and professional. Did a great job throughout.

This whole experience was flawless! The team who installed the windows and doors are true craftsmen, taking care to do the best job possible. All debris was cleaned up as the job progressed. Could not have done a better job!

Because Mr. Window had won a Super Service Award from Angie's List for several years and their sale's representative was extremely affable, we paid Mr. Window a 54% down payment of $2000,00 instead of the requested 30%. After all, we were paying for a top of the line item from a respected company who is used to dealing with quality homes in the Carmel area. Soon after, however, our troubles began. First, there was the Friday late afternoon installation. This was incomplete, poorly executed and substandard. At issue are the following:Mitered corners on exterior trim exhibit wide, unsealed gaps which will allow water to seep in and create water damage and mold problems-the very reason that caused us to replace the windows in the first place.Excessive silicone caulking on exterior trim show sloppy attempts to mask an imprecise fit.Exterior wood trim around window remains split and unrepaired.Exterior trim color is not as represented and does not match house trim.Window lattice on all three windows arrived misaligned. On November 30, 2011, a Pella manufacturer's representative was sent to our home but could not remedied the crooked lattice satisfactorily. At this time Tim McHugh not only confirmed the poor quality of the installation, but agreed that because of the defective lattice problem, a whole new sash for each window needed to be installed.Nail holes remained unfilled.Interior milled trim work was never done.During this time, no one at this company tried to assist us in resolving this matter. In fact, we had to contact the manufacturer ourselves and when we could get no satisfaction with window replacement, we heard nothing more. At this point, we had a defective window installed in a wall cut out with no trim around the window and crooked lattice. While we were thinking that we should get a full refund of our deposit or a new window, Mike Widmeyer, president of Mr. Window called us at the end of January to demand the balance of payment. He told us that he would not complete the job without full payment. After several belligerent and hostile phone calls from him and his secretary Charlotte we reiterated our concerns in a letter dated March 11, 2012. The matter remains unresolved and is now in litigation.Please note that we have since had the David Hazen Group, another A rated company who actually deserves the accolade, complete the milled work trim around the window to our complete satisfaction. We have also paid them to try and remediate some of the other problems as well.

They were on time, worked quickly, and cleaned up after themselves.

Mr. Window was able to come out and give me an estimate within a few days of my initial phone call. The took preliminary measurements at the time of the estimate. After I made the decision to go with this company, they came back and measured again to be certain of the window opening requirements. They were able to install the finished product within a month of the initial phone call. The installers were company employees with 10 - 20 years of experience. They were most proficient in their work. Everything looks exactly as we had hoped. The quality of the windows has significantly enhanced the value of the room. We now have a room we can use up to 11 months a year. Our experience was excellent from beginning to end. I would have no problems referring this company to friends.
