Description of Work: Mr Window provided 2 windows for my kitchen and 2 windows for my dining room in my Irvingtion home in 9/1999; The product that they recommended were vinyl windows from Midwest Vinyl products which was a local co.that had something called "warm edge technology" that basically looked like a piece of black vinyl/rubber lining between the double pane windows at their edges and for some reason that I don't remember now, this was supposed to be something that was good;The installation process went ok except for the vent cover of my stove exhaust was found with a small piece missing immediately after the windows were placed; Shortly after that time I was having difficulty opening the window for cleaning and called to get directions on the process; Unfortunately I couldn't keep the window in it's track and the window would not open and stay open without being propped; It appeared to be too loose; I asked if there was anyway that someone could come out and show me what I was doing wrong because I was scratching the paint off of my newly painted trim and I didn't think something was right; After calling a couple of times I was told that when a salesman was in the area they would have him to stop in and look at my north kitchen window which wouldn't stay open. As it turns out no one ever stopped by my house and I never opened that window because it was too loose; Now fast forward to 4/2014 , after 14 plus years I found the lifetime transferable warranty for the windows and for several years now the black edge of each window pane had warped into the viewing part of the glass on all the edges of each double hung double pane window in my 2 kitchen windows. I called Mr. Window to see if they could come and replace the glass with the unsightly warped edges. I was told by an employee of the co. that the Midwest vinyl product co. had gone out of business and he didn't think that my warranty was valid any more but would have the co. owner Mick Widmeyer to make a determination re: the warranty. After calling back at the appropriate time that Mick would be at the store , Mr. Widmeyer told me that all of his windows warrantys are from the manufacturers only. And since the co. went bankrupt Mr Window was not liable to replace the unsightly glass. I was informed that any glass co. could repair it but not Mr Window. I have to say that I was disappointed that they didn't back up the products that they sold me. And it might be the same for every other window installer to not warranty the windows that they install, But I am still disappointed , I got inferior quality windows, and a poor response to the problems that I've had. I would not use this window installer again. Maybe this is normal operating procedure but I just wanted to allow Angies list members to judge for themselves after hearing of my experiences with Mr. Window.

Description of Work: I called them to give me an estimate. Someone replied after a few days and dset up an appointment to come and meet us on June the 7nth. No one showed up. Waste of our time. This is not what you expect from a highly rated company

Description of Work: Chris, the sales rep. was very knowledgeable. Explained everything to me and gave me all the options available. I called to order the windows for the entire house (ten) and the installation person was right on time and did an unbelievable job. The windows look terrific.

Description of Work: Hired Mr. Window Inc. to replace 9 windows. The whole process went very smooth. I would definitley do business with them again.

Description of Work: Call was made to Mr Window for estimate to be done to replace condensed windows. The associate was very knowledgeable and informed me that it the glass need only replaced, rather than the entire window. I was also given a referral and all questions were answered. Very professional. I am impressed with the willingness to help provide information when actual service was not done. Thank you!

Description of Work: They installed a new window and French Door leading out to a new second story deck. Their pricing was good. They showed up on time, did the work in half the time they had projected and cleaned up after themselves. They thought they were going to have a problem with getting the door to the second level, but the Owner and the salesman showed up with the work crew and everything went smooth. Description of Work: Mr Window Inc did our sliding back door and window in the kitchen.

Description of Work: No services were performed as they never responded to my e-mail to schedule an appt for an estimate. Survey requires a "yes" or "no" answer as to whether we would use them again. I answered "no" because I probably wouldn't waste my time with emailing a company in the future who didn't respond the first time.

Description of Work: I contacted Mr Window the last week in September of this year through the Angie's list email ling indicated my name address phone number and brief description of what I needed. Received an email from Chris Pasa on Sept 30th requesting that I call him to set an appointment which I did. I left messages on his voice mail on two separate occasions. He finally called back and we agreed on meeting Thursday Oct 6th at 11:45. He was a no call no show leaving me high and dry. I'm sure they do good work if you can get them to show up!

Description of Work: We replaced 15 double hung wood windows with screens, and the front door. I can't miss much work, so when we got a "window" in the rain this spring, Mick Widmeyer put extra crew on my job and got her done in less than 1 day. I was amazed. I keep looking for any scrap of mess from the old windows and I can't find any. This outfit is as professional and efficient as any I've dealt with. I recommend them without reservation.

Description of Work: After a break-in, I needed a new front door. I called a competitor's company first which was highly recommended, and they gave me an estimate. Then, I called Mr. Window. Their estimate was from the same company, same page of the same catalog, and $1000 less. The only problem I had was when I called to order the door. It was right after the ice storm, and the company was very slow to respond. I almost cancelled my order to go back to the first company when they called me back. From then on, they were top notch.

Description of Work: Mr. Window replaced six windows in my master and master bath. They were the company I was referred to as having the appropriate window for my condo, as dictated by the HOA. The salesman was polite and responsive to my needs. The owner of the company came out to measure after the salesman did, and I was advised this was done on every job. He was also polite and responsive to my needs. My windows were installed in a matter of a few hours. The installers were prompt, and went right to work after first removing their boots on coming in from the snow. When they finished they explained the handouts that they gave me, including the final bill. I would use them again with no hesitation, and refer them to anyone looking for new windows.

Description of Work: Imust say that MR.windows had the best product in replacement windows that I looked at before buying windows. Over all they did a good job of installation,However,when the young man on the crew miscut two pieces of poplar wood for my window sills and said (things happens),and my wife and I were rather put -out with the remark he made and the older gentelman on the crew did not say much about it. Luckley,I had a third piece of poplar primed to use and the young man did go get a piece of primed pine to use on the other window sill,but they did not replace the two miscut pieces to me . I would recommend MR.window to others looking for windows but the company needs to make clear to it's employees that being professional in everypart of their work is very important even down to what they say.......

Description of Work: They installed new windows and trim surrounding the windows. The workmanship and professionalism of the staff was outstanding. We will use Mr. Window to finish the balance of our project.
