Mosquito Squad of Greater Indianapolis

I love spending time outdoors but could not due to mosquitos. If I sat in my yard for more than 5 minutes I would have at least two mosquito bites and would have to retreat indoors. After they sprayed there was an immediate difference. I have had friends over for dinner in the evening and no mosquito complaints. I can now go out every evening and enjoy eating outdoors in my backyard. I will definitely use the Mosquito Squad again!

We first used Mosquito Squad for an outdoor party in September, 2011, and it worked like magic. It was easily scheduled and arrived at the promised time. It worked terrifically well, and based on that success, we decided to use them for the entire 2012 season, and that is the cost indicated above. For 2012, they first treated our yard in May, and have back for regularly scheduled visits since then. the always call ahead of time and they always show up at the promised time. We are very pleased with their work and plan to work with them next year, too.

I purchased a Big Deal offer for 2 Mosquito spray treatments. I haven't had problems with Mosquitos so far this season. I'm in the middle of my second treatment. Once the second treatment wears off, we may use them to spray additional treatments.

We can go out in the yard now and there is not one mosquito! I would pay two or three times what they charge for their service and recommend them to anyone. They are professional and on time. They email us before they come and they leave a notice in our mailbox to let us know what time they came.

We were pretty pleased. They were a little late on the second visit. They spray worked well. We would recommend them to anyone.

Actually it seems to have worked quite well. This sort of thing is always hard to quantify but we both felt less pestered by mosquitos this summer.

We use them on a regular basis. We use them every three weeks to spray for mosquitoes. It is like a lawn service where we pay for the season they come out. We paid a one time fee for the whole mosquito breeding season. We got a flier in one of the ad magazines that come to the house and we don't like mosquitoes so we called them out. I spoke to him and found out that I wanted a non-toxic and more traditional spray for mosquitoes and so we decided to use them. The whole house smells of garlic and so you don't have to worry about mosquitoes or vampires for a while. I think their price is good though I haven’t tried anybody else. I feel I got value for my money. Every time we have had a question they have been right on it or had the information ready for us the next day. They also do stuff based on questions we asked. They forward stuff to us when they have new products available and stuff like that. I am just really happy with them overall. They email me before they come out. It is not terribly invasive but they are here and it has a pungent smell for about an hour, but then it is just garlic. They always make sure we are aware when they come in and always make sure we are ready to get started off. It is pungent only for half an hour and its not that you have to put up with it if you don't want to. It is a repellent and not an insecticide. Mosquitoes don't like lemon and garlic. They infuse essential oils with garlic and spray it all over the place. The smell lasts for about three weeks and mosquitoes are a 100 times more sensitive than humans which is why they track us down. It keeps away mosquitoes but doesn't kill bugs and that's what we are after.

I had them come out once right after I bought that Big Deal. I used the big Deal with them. I would give them the highest ratings across the board.

It was a Big Deal that we purchased. They did a great job and they were very responsive.

They arrived right on time and the spraying took about 1 1/2 hours. They had told us the application would last for about 3 weeks. This is an area that is heavily wooded but also has a beautiful expanse of grass on which the our daughter's wedding reception was to be held. Normally, on a hot August night we would be eaten alive by mosquitoes out there. I did not even have to think about mosquitoes that night because there weren't any. We used the 21-day barrier spray protection.

Ken sprayed my daughter's 1-acre wooded lot for mosquitoes before we were to have an evening wedding in the yard. He sprayed the day before the wedding, and that evening, we still had some issues with a few people experiencing some bites, but not nearly as bad as before. I called Ken the morning of the wedding and told him about the bites, and he told me that the problem was probably that the areas bordering their yard on 3 sides had not been treated and that the mosquitoes will travel. Probably noticing my concern, he then offered to spray those areas as well, if we would get permission from the neighbor who owned that area. We did that, and he came quickly and sprayed the additional area--AT NO ADDITIONAL COST. Ken even called back to make sure that the wedding guests had no complaints of being bothered by mosquitoes. He went above and beyond what I would have expected and will certainly be the one we call in the future, as he and the mosquito repellent were great. Another great thing is that the treatment should last about 3 weeks--a wonderful thing to know for those who don't enjoy sharing their times outdoors with mosquitoes.

When I called to schedule, I was assured that fruits and vegetables would not be sprayed and that I would notice an immediate difference that would last 3-4 weeks. Was emailed a day prior to treatment that my yard would be sprayed. Ken and his assistant, wearing tanks on their backs thoroughly sprayed my front and back yards. I stayed inside while they sprayed but, when I went outside an hour later, there was no noticeable odor. My mosquitos were totally gone, even three weeks later. I was so pleased that I purchased their end of season Big Deal. If regular prices are not too prohibitive, I will use them again next summer.

Everything was as promised and I will probably use them again next year dependent upon the problem.

No problems. Very responsive. Definitely helped control mosquitos in our yard.

Prior to having the MS fog out property, I would get multiple mosquito bites every time I went outside. Spraying down with or applying repellent didn't help much. After their treatment, I have been bite-free. We had them come back a second time to continue the coverage. It has been great to go outside in spite of the awful heat we've had. Some credit may have to be attributed to the drought we've had which makes it less conduciive to mosquito breeding.

I found out about this company through the Angie's List Big Deals. I purchased 2 treatments for a ridiculously low price, but would be glad to pay full price next year for the service. Prior to the treatment, we couldn't sit out on our porch, even during the day, because of the mosquitoes. The same night the Mosquito Squad was out, we were able to grill out and enjoy our yard. Even more importantly, I was concerned about the diseases these pests carry and wanted to reduce our exposure to them for our family and our pets. Being able to go outside without worrying (as much) was well worth the minimal price we paid and certainly, in my opinion, worth the cost of their regular pricing structure. Great service!

It went fine. They came when they said they would and I did notice a reduction in the mosquitoes. The follow up was okay. I was looking to hear back from them to set up additional treatments.

It really does work. We had 27 people in the backyard after they were here and not one person got a mosquito bite. He was very, very nice. He did not pressure us into spending more money and for what we got the service was very reasonable.

I paid them for the whole season. I am very happy with them as I have not seen any mosquitoes in our yard. I have been very impressed with the way they communicate with me. They reply to my emails the same day and they let me know by email when they are coming out to spray. I don't have anything to compare their price to.

Ken recommends treatment/service every three weeks to stay mosquito free. I can't tell you the amazement and joy I've had at being able to garden and weed in the evenings after work. Typically I am not be able to garden in the evening (after I get home from work, and when it's cooler) because I would be accosted by mosquitoes. I tried the service and decided to continued with the service for the season. If you can afford it, I highly recommend this service.

Tried this service as it was an Angie's List deal. LOVE it!!!! Prior to treatment we were not able to be outside--even with bug spray and citronella candles. Haven't encountered a mosquito since the treatment almost 3 weeks ago and we live on a wooded acre lot. We have our yard back and will for the rest of the season as we will definitely continue to use this service through the season!

Though we realize mosquitoes carry risk of disease for both humans and dogs, it really is just the sheer annoyance factor that we were concerned with. We did not opt for the service which kills all insects as we felt this would not be good for our dogs or for the health of our plants that need bugs for pollination, not to mention the potential effects on humans and the environment, and what's summer without butterflies and lightening bugs? Being able to use the natural garlic based solution is a very important distinction for us. We still have a few mosquitoes but given all the water from this year's rains, we're happy with the results and it has made our yard and home much more livable.

So far, so good. They are really easy to work with because they are incredibly responsive. Also, they send a courtesy email the day before they come out. I’ve definitely noticed a difference in the amount of mosquitoes around our house.

So far, everything has been great. We have lots of trees and plants, and no mosquitoes.

Their work has turned out very well.
