It still did not work after 3 trips !!! And I was charged $2,000. I pretty sure when my health is better l will be making a consumer complaint to the attorney general ‘s office.

Technician refused to do work. He said electrical panel had damage and needed replaced. He took pictures and sent to his boss, then quoted $2400+ for new panel and nearly $500 to install ceiling fan and chandelier (on low 8’ ceiling). I took quote and called company through my home warranty. Electrical panel does not need replaced and they’re doing installation of ceiling fan and chandelier for $250. I’m out my $100 deductible for home warranty call - we’ll worth it! They also said electrical panel should not exceed $1000.

Guys were punctual and friendly. However, I have a 10yr old home in an affluent neighborhood and I feel that was being taken advantage of. I had an electrical outlet in my office which was not working. Mister Sparky quote $109. Home Depot and three screws later I did it myself for $0.53. I have an outlet in a pool house which isn’t working. Their proposal was to replace the main breaker in my home for $3000 (a breaker not in any way associated with the problem) and to tunnel a line from another breaker in my basement all the way out to my pool house (another $1500). Then, I was charged $100 for a home safety inspection, a service I did NOT request. Finally, I never even received my quote. I had to call 5days later to request the estimate from them. I would not recommend the use of this company.

Came out on time. Worked on my tight schedule. All went well for a relatively complex project.

Did not hire. National company more expensive than local.

We had an electrician come to our home, to fix a couple of minor ceiling fan issues (which did go OK), and to evaluate two ceiling fans that were mounted on high ceilings, and were not working. The electrician noted, clearly, for his office that they would need to have two electricians on site to do the work, and would need a 16 foot ladder. I'm sure this is a burden, but it was clear. We purchased our ceiling fans ourselves, and then scheduled an appointment, emphasizing the notes the first electrician had made, regarding the ladder, etc. We received a call on the day of the appointment, indicating that they could not do the service that day, because it was impossible for them to get a ladder and an assistant. So I rescheduled for another day, with a 4:00 - 8:00pm window. I rearranged my schedule, was at home for the period of time, and even called their local number at least twice just to ask that they had all the requirements covered, and would show up and do the work, as I was nervous of a repeat problem. Sure enough, around 7:00pm, a service person called to say that he did not have the ladder, or the second assistant, and none of this was prepare for, so they could not do the service in the time period allowed. Now we had already paid for diagnosis of the problem in the first place, but there's no way I'm going to ever hire this firm again. Absolutely no regard for their customers, from my experience at least.

I was told I needed two new light fixtures due to the bad wires. Will need to purchase them and then have them come back to install.

Great. Quick. Professional. Experienced installer. Knew exactly what I needed. Offered options for new electric supply to ceiling.

They fixed issue on time. They are professional and knowledgeable.

Found out I could not put a junction box in. Good to know. Also, Matt checked the electrical box because he said he could not do any work on my home until he checked to make sure it was okay. He showed me a burned place and recommended a completely new electrical box costing $2400. Will price check.

excellent! came on a Sunday and took care of it with supplies he had in his truck.

The electrician was able to quickly figure out the problem and wire in a new switch. He also offered advice for grounding my water heater.

Went very well. Eduardo A. Arrived as estimated. He was professional, polite and after the install he cleaned up and removed all garbage.

The electricity in 2 1/2 rooms was out so I called Mister Sparky on Angie;s List recommendation. One man came out and looked at the breaker box. He said we need a new breaker box since this one had degraded and burnt it had shorted out. He said it will be $1971.00 with our 10% senior discount. They sent a different technician a few hours later and he replaced the breaker box. It took him about 5 hours or so. He arrived at 6:30 PM and left at 11:40 PM. When we went to check the rooms that had lost power, there was still no power. The electrician said he isn't sure what is going on but he had been working for 12 hours and needed to go. The next day the original guy came back to find the problem. He found that our shredder had shorted out and that is what caused the electricity to go out in the rooms. I was not happy to hear this since I had just spent $2000.00 for a new breaker box that didn't fix the problem. I let him know that I am not happy about the situation. He said he would have someone from the office call me. They have not called

Field service contact arrived, and had no interest in lighting problem, but instead wanted to look at main power distribution breaker box in garage. They took cover off panel, and tried to convince me that entire panel needed replaced, for surge damage that had occurred, for price of $3,500, and still no reference back to original lighting problem needing addressed. They refused to consider any other work, until main power panel was replaced! I wanted another opinion, so contacted a 2nd service provider, who over the phone, told me Mr. Sparky often used ploy to sell expensive parts and labor for main breaker boxes, which weren't defective at all. 2nd provider used to work for Mr. Sparky, and left employment there, because of their unethical business practices observed. Avoid Mr. Sparky, as profit is their motive, not addressing customer immediate concerns or needs!

Never again will I call this company. I contacted this company for service and explained that I would not be able to be there at the time of the home service/repair. They assured me that this was no problem. It was only when they called to say their service person was on the way for the appointment that I discovered they would not be able to perform service without someone present at the home. This really cause a huge problem for us as we had guest scheduled to stay at the home the next day. They also offered no solution other than they would get in touch with their call center (somewhere in AZ) that gave me the the false information to begin with and inform them of the policy. Terrible company.

They were available to do this work the next day which allowed it to be completed before the drywall/paint crew came in the following day- whew! that was close. They worked professionally in the tasks I requested. Jim has continued to be so helpful in finishing the work once the redecorating was completed. My only suggestion would be to have a dry vac to clean up from where the new receptacles were installed as it was a challenge for my house vacuum. which is an upright.

The electrician couldn't recreate the problem, but said it was unlikely the problem was in the wiring. He gave me a quote for replacing the circuit if it happened again, but I wouldn't have to pay a service call charge

BUYER BEWARE! Technician found that main buss bar looked like it had overheated and needed replacement. He said that damage can cause failures and safety concerns. He said we needed a completely new 200amp panel + whole home ultra surge protector. $3,043.00. We obtained two other 2nd opinion from other electrical contractors. Totally different responses! One contractor fixed the problem by replacing the wall switch and didn't charge us a penny!

They don’t give phone estimates. They only provide a written estimate when they come to your house (which costs ~$49). Why bother calling them for an estimate if you can’t compare their price to other Angie’s List competition until they’re on your doorstep?

This was a major project which required laying outdoor electrical and gas lines and adding a separate electrical panel for outlets and equipment needed to weather an extended power outage. They were very knowledgable and did an excellent job.

The representative saw a senior citizen and attempted to defraud me by claiming I had an unsafe electrical panel.

I think that they were good. They were prompt, professional and correct in what they said. They made some recommendations and I followed through with them on the recommendations on a later visit. I had a good experience.
