 + -1 moreMilto's repair contacted me in two days to verify the zipper needed replaced and had my jacket back within a week. The repair is perfect and there is no indication that there was ever a problem. I could not be happier with the service provided by Milto Cleaners.
Description of Work: The zipper had broken in my good, heavy leather jacket. An earlier fix of the original zipper did not last and the zipper needed to be replaced. I considered just discarding the jacket, but I really like it and needed to try to have it fixed. Not knowing where to take it I referred to Angie's list and was surprised to see Milto Cleaners listed leather repair as a service provided. I contacted Milto and confirmed the leather service and dropped off my jacket.

 + -1 moreI was so nervous about taking this dress into the dry cleaners. It's made of very fine detailed lace and I did not want it to be mistreated. I found Milto on the list and looked at their website and saw that the location on Kentucky Ave. specialized in restoring water and fire damaged clothing. I thought that they may do a good job on the dress then. I called them up and they told me that they do specialize in vintage restoration and to bring it in. They really put me at ease about the whole thing. I didn't want to ruin it, it's a 4th generation christening dress. When I picked it up, it looked beautiful! I was so impressed. I was prepared to pay a lot for the restoration. They charged me $6.60!!! I could NOT believe it!! Just for this reason, I wil always use them for everything. Awesome!
Description of Work: I took in a vintage christening dress made the 1930's from Scotland into this cleaners because I saw that they did restoration. It was very sad and old looking and needed to be freshened up.

 + -1 moreOverall, Milto was easy to work with and was very easy to get a hold of. They returned calls promptly. They did make a few mistakes (delivered the wrong rug, lost around 6 articles of clothing - not bad for a whole house full of items, and ruined a table runner by cleaning it wrong)but they were very quick to make the situation right. They reimbursed for anything that was their mistake and they were honest and upfront about it. This is very desirable when you have a fire.
Description of Work: We had a house fire one evening. Milto came out to our house that evening to salvage any clothing we would need for that next week. The next morning they removed all clothing and items made of fabric from our house. They cleaned and restored what they could. What they could not save from the fire they listed in detail so we could claim it with our insurance. Everything in our house was completely cleaned within a reasonable time frame and if we needed anything early, they would deliver it to use the next day. As far as how much the service cost, I have nothing to base a whole house full of items to be cleaned and since it was a fire, our homeowners insurance paid for the cleaning.
