"Thank you so much for the kind review. I certainly enjoyed working with you and getting to know you better."
"I really enjoyed working with you and your wife. You had such a limited area and price range I was worried about finding you something. Because you were patient we found the perfect house and location. I am so happy for you. I hope your home brings many years of fond memories. Remember I am still here for you if you need me."
Mike is a Realtor that you can trust and count on every step of the home-buying process.
Mike met with us early in the process to determine our needs and referred us to an incredible mortgage service company and took the time to sit and make sure every question and concern was answered. Mike made sure that we were all comfortable and showed great respect for every individual involved in this home purchase process.
Mike arranged many showings and was always on time and organized so we could make the best use of our time. We never felt rushed or hurried during showings and Mike pointed out so many important details that may have gone unnoticed to someone with less experience and wisdom. Mike helped us write a fair offer and made sure we understood all the conditions and worked SO VERY hard to negotiate the best possible price for the home, considering we were under a time deadline as well as a fairly limited budget.
Mike also referred us to an extremely knowledgeable and experienced and licensed home inspector and Mike worked with the information the inspector provided and made sure certain things were fixed and in good order so that we were confident that the home we were purchasing was safe and very sound as an investment.
There were no surprises at closing - everything was simple and smooth - all because of Mike's hard work, preparation and attention to detail.
We would and WILL use Mike again in the future and will refer all our family and friends to him. Mike goes above and beyond and serves his customers like he would serve his family. Mike truly loves what he does as a Realtor and it shows. You will be well cared for if you trust Mike for your next home purchase. Thank you, Mike!!! You are THE BEST!!!
"I enjoyed every minute of helping you and your family and the loan officer feels the same. You were a wonderful client. I hope you have many happy memories in your new home. Remember even though you are in the house I am still here to help you anyway I can."
"Thank you so much for the review. You knew what you wanted so it made the job pretty simple. I hope you have many years of happiness in your new home. If I can ever assist you just let me know."
I am grateful to of found Mike, working with him was a pleasure and I believe it will be the same for you too.
"I had so much fun working with you. You knew what you wanted just needed help in finding it and negotiating price and repairs. It is fun when you can work together to find what you want. It was a real pleasure working for such a nice young couple. I know you are enjoying your new home based on our conversations. Hope all continues to go well and that your home brings you many years of happiness and good memories. Thank you for choosing me to help you."
"Well this has been a great experience. I met you almost a year ago and you took off and went south for the winter. While you were gone we got your house painted and picked out flooring. The part I liked best was that when I came over I also got coffee and a treat! You are such a wonderful couple and I wish you the best as you head south to live near your family. I am glad our hard work paid off because I loved the expression on your faces when your home sold in less than a day. You are so deserving."
"I was very happy to answer your real estate questions. Everyone deserves a little help now and then. I hope you are able to get some remedy from the problem you spoke to me about. Thank you for picking me to call and also telling me about the email problem. I wish you the best and consider me your friend."
"You two were so great to work with especially since this was your first home. I think you made a great choice and I hope you have many happy years in your new home. I am glad you choose me to represent you and remember I am here for you after the sale."
"You are just too nice. I have enjoyed so much working with you and your mother. I think you found a perfect fit for your lifestyle. I thank you so much for using me as your realtor and yes I do want to remain not just your realtor but your friend. Always feel free to call me for anything that you feel I can help."
"Thank you so much for your kind review. I really enjoyed working with you. Hope you enjoy being close to your family and that your home houses many fond memories."
"Thank you for the nice review. Both Kimberly and I enjoyed working with you. We are glad we were fulfill your expectations. I hope you enjoy your new home and remember I am still here for you if a question should come up concerning the sale of your home. Remember you do have a home warranty if needed."
"It was a bit of a surprise to see this review two years after I worked with this client. I strive to meet my client’s expectations each and every time I work with them. Sometimes in life, things do come up and it is unfortunate. I am sorry that I was unable to assist you in the expedited timeline that you were trying to work with, in terms of selling your home because of these issues. Anytime that one of my clients have an issue, it does help to have open and effective lines of communication. This was a case that this did not occur, and it does make meeting expectations difficult. I am glad that you found a way to sell your home that met your expectations."
Mike paid for a home staging consultation, which helped a ton. He also had pictures taken for us. He priced the house on the high end, and I questioned it. However, it turned out to be a great strategy. We left it at that price for 2 weeks, then dropped it a bit. Once we did that, we had a ton of showings and got an offer in no time. The offer was a little low, so Mike walked us through our options and used his negotiation expertise to advise us on a counter. It worked perfectly and the buyer accepted. We ended up getting almost 5% more than we expected.
Then came the inspection. There were several items that we needed to address. Mike quickly jumped to action and got some of his trusted contractors to give us quotes. He successfully helped us navigate through a potential deal breaker.
The buying process was easier. We liked the first house we looked at and I could tell Mike thought it was a good house for us, but he didn't pressure at all. He took us to as many houses as we wanted to see, but we ended up offering on that first house. We were pretty aggressive with the offer and they accepted. The inspection came back with a lot of issue, including a new roof. Given our circumstances, I thought we were going to have to sacrifice and eat some of these. But Mike advised us to ask for what we wanted. The seller agreed to everything we asked for.
Overall, Mike was thorough, professional, and it felt like working with a friend. We truly felt like his only client, when I know he has a full plate.
"Thank you so much for the kind review. I really enjoyed working with you and was very pleased that we got your home sold quickly and found another that you loved. You were very trusting of me and that makes my job so much easier. I hope you enjoy your new home and that you will stay in touch. Let me know when that baby girl is born!"
"Thank you so much for taking time to write a review that I was not expecting. It is a real pleasure working with you."
Mike was professional in every aspect of our interaction and we intend to use him on another future transaction we anticipate. We would give him an A+ rating!
"You were a great client. Even though out of state a good part of the time you were always available and always willing to use my recommendations. Thank you so much for such a nice write up."
"You two are just too nice. I love working with you. I am glad you found a brand new home in a wonderful neighborhood. I think you will be very happy and also will not have to worry anymore abut lawn care. Now we have to get yours listed and sold. Thank you for those kind words about me. You are very special."
"I was so happy we were able to sell your home quickly and for a good price. You certainly were good clients. Listening to the professional home stager and putting it to work was a huge help in selling your home. I hope you are enjoying your new home. I t was great working with such easy going clients."
The trouble started on the sell side after the inspection. Let's just say the buyer was very demanding and leave it at that. Mike was there with great advice and a positive attitude and thanks largely to his skill and experience I was able to come to an agreement with my buyer and keep the deal on track for closing. Unfortunately, it didn't stay on track. The buyer had some issues and as a result we had to move closing out a week.
At the same time, Mike was helping me move towards closing on the purchase of my new home. The owner of that home was, shall we say, unresponsive. They never responded to my inspection response asking them to address some issues. No problem, since no answer means "yes" by default. And most of the issues did in fact get resolved. A leaky dishwasher wasn't repaired, but I was able to file a claim for that under the home warranty and the seller's agent reimbursed me for the deductible.
The real fun (and by fun, I mean nightmare) began the week of the new closing date. The seller, who was underwater, had a serious case of sticker shock when they realized what their settlement costs would be. There was a point when no one, not me, not the sellers agent, not even Mike thought there was any chance that the purchase of my new home would go through.
This is when Mike really went to work. He fought tooth and nail burning up the phone lines to bring the deal back to life. At the same time, closing of the sale of my house was finally on solid ground. So solid, in fact, that my buyer refused to delay the date again. Needless to say, the thought of selling my house without having a place to move was unnerving, but I went ahead with closing. Mike's assistant, Kimberly, was a huge help in researching and checking out possible short term rental options over the weekend.
This is when Mike did something I don't think any other living agent would do. He offered to refund his commission on the sale of my house if the purchase of my new home didn't go through.
Did I mention that this was happening six days before Christmas? I did have possession for a week after closing, but arranging a move Christmas week without a destination is not something I would recommend. This story does have a happy ending, though! Three days before Christmas, Mike gave me the best gift of all. He'd managed to get the seller to commit to go through with closing the next day.
Through it all, Mike proved to be a tough negotiator who never stopped fighting for me. I doubt a less experienced agent could have held the purchase of my new home together. His work ethic was amazing. I don't know how many hours he spent working on this, but he earned that commission for sure!
"I know it was a long drawn out process but I am so happy we were able to get yours sold and find you a new home. You were a great client and I liked the fact that you never really pushed the panic button. So many things happen behind the between agents it is a big help knowing that I will have client support and you certainly supported me on my decisions on how to navigate through the process. I hope you enjoy your new home and wishing you the best for 2015"
After my initital phone call, he came to our home and met with us. He took the time to get to know us and allowed us to get to know him also. During that initial meeting, I knew that my wife and I had found the right realtor. There was something about his personality that I immediately liked. I found that Mike had a great sense of humor and I knew that I would enjoy working with him to help find our home.
The next time we met, Mike promplty picked us up at our home and drove us around for most of the day as we looked at several homes in our price range. During this time, I was able to get to know Mike a little more and really had an enjoyable time looking at many different homes in the area. I was impressed at the way Mike timed everything out with the showings. Everything seemed to work out smoothly. Mike was patient, as we looked at all the homes. He pointed out things to look for and showed us some important features that we may have over looked.
After our initial day of viewing homes, we decided to take a second look at a couple of homes and Mike gladly showed us those homes again as we narrowed down our choices. We decided on a home and Mike guided us through the entire process. Mike advised us on many ocassions as we waded through a difficult home purchase. My wife and I relied on his expertise and sense of humor to get us through the difficult times. Even though the process was stressful at times, I knew that we were in great hands because Mike had a wealth of expertise and he was an expert negotiator. His communication skills were excellent from all aspects of our experience. He communicated in a timely manner with us and was readily available via email, text or by phone.
Mike was a pleasure to work with and we were able to close on our house in a timely manner. I would recommend Mike to anyone. He is a first class realtor and an even better person.
"Thank you for such a nice review. I really enjoyed helping you and your wife. You were deserving of all my attention. I hope you enjoy your new home and remember I am still your realtor so if you need any help just give me a call. I wish you all the best."
"I enjoyed working with you and thank you for picking me off of Angie's List. You were a very nice person to work with and glad all went smooth. Thank you for the Drum Core DVD. It is easy to see why you enjoy your work. Good luck to you and Michigan State in the future."
"Thank you so much for the review. I really enjoyed working with you and was pleased to get your home sold quickly at a price close to the asking price. You were wonderful clients and I hope you keep in touch."
