I was living out of state and trying to plan a move to the Indianapolis area. I called and interviewed three Realtors. Of the three I felt that Mike was the most genuine and had a feeling that he really wanted more than my business, that he truly wanted to help me find a home and would be willing to spend the time to help me with my unique situation. This turned out to be true. Being out of state was a challenge and he worked with my scheduled visits to show me homes. After a home was found and an offer made, he did absolutely everything he could to make the process less stressful for me. For instance, we encountered an issue with an underground oil tank and he spent an entire day calling various environmental agencies and tank companies to find out how to properly handle the situation, and made sure the problem was addressed to my satisfaction by the sellers. Additionally, he went back to the house with a handyman to inspect post-inspection work. I never felt like I didn't know what was going on even though I was 1000 miles away. After I closed on the home and moved in, Mike continued to call and check on me and has come through for me more than once. Being entirely new to an area can be intimidating, especially when things go wrong. In one day, right after we moved in, I found myself with a very sick child and an unexpected leak on the porch during a heavy rain. I had called him about the leak to see if he could give me a name of someone trustworthy and during the phone call I mentioned my sick daughter and that I had tried to make appointments with three local pediatricians, but no one would see her until they received records from her doctor. An hour later I got a call from a friend of his that was an ER pediatrician who helped me talk through her symptoms and find a doctor that could see me that evening. Additionally he had his handyman get in touch with me and he came in the next couple days to fix the problems on the porch. Mike has been not only completely professional and helpful, but truly kind and thoughtful. He went well beyond what I believe most buyer's agents would do and he did so repeatedly and never once did I feel like my needs or concerns were an inconvenience. I have told my friends how pleased I am with my choice of Realtors and I would absolutely recommend Mike Puckett.

Mike came highly referred and now we know why. He was immediately engaging and helpful, encouraging us to see as many houses as we wanted to and we did take that advice. There were several days in row when we were out looking at houses. He even was patient when we saw the same house twice. He was very good at emailing us the houses we wanted to see and then on the day that we looked at them, he had the latest updated information including the property's history. This was the second time I(the husband) had to buy the house before my wife saw it and Mike was helpful by asking me questions to sharpen my perception of the house from my wife's perspective. BTW, she loves the house! Mike was always gracious and fun to be around which takes a lot of the stress out of the process. Mike was not only professional and very good at what he does, he was also great at perceiving the needs/wants of the buyer. His broad knowledge of the area, the market and houses, in general, was obvious and that was very assuring to us out-of- towners. We would use him again and and will refer him to others.

Mike is a great realtor. We wanted to sell our home and purchase a new home. We called Mike and he returned our call very promptly. He came out to our house so we could talk to him and see if he was the realtor for us. We knew he was the realtor for us shortly after we started talking with him. He was friendly, honest and willing to answer any questions we had. We listed our house with Mike and he made sure we were getting as many showings as possible. When an offer came in, he gave us his advice but it was ultimately up to us. There was never any pressure one way or another on any decisions. He truely worked for us and made sure we had a good sell. While we were selling our home, we were also looking for a new one. Mike showed us any home we requested. His knowledge of home prices and condtions kept us out of trouble and saved us from making mistakes. For example, we called Mike to look at a house that seemed underpriced for the size. The listing agent said it needed a little TLC and from what we could tell, it looked like all it needed was a little TLC. Mike wasn't convinced and investigated further and found that the house had mold and a major drainage problem. Instead of having us put an offer on the house and not finding this out until the inspection, he saved us time and the cost of an inspection because of his diligence. Mike worked hard for us and it was easy to forget he had other clients. He answered our calls right away and the few times we had to leave a message, we knew we would be hearing back from him soon. When we found the house we wanted, that is when Mike worked even harder for us. We were not able to pick our own inspector due to circumstances regarding rules with the sale of the home. The inspector was chosen through our mortgage company and it turned out to be a very poor inspection. We suspected the inspection was not thorough so with Mike's advice, we had another inspection done and realized through the second inspetion the house had a bad air conditioner. Because of Mike's ethics and fairness he did not feel we should be responsible for the cost of the first inspetion or the cost of a new air conditioner. Mike took care of getting the mortgage company to refund us the money for the inadequate inspection, and was able to work with the sellers to have them pay for a new air conditioner. The sellers were not easy to deal with and their realtor was no better. Without Mike and his business experience, we believe we would have been stuck paying for the inspection and the new air conditioner. Although we were not dealing with easy people, Mike took care of everything and all we had to do was hear the updates from Mike as things progressed. Mike is very concientious and will do everything he can to make sure he serves his clients to the best of his ability. We had a great experience with selling and buying a home with Mike. If you want an honest, hard working realtor, Mike is the one for you.

I will only use Mike to buy/sell any home. If we are moving out-of-state in the future, I will take him with me! Every experience we had with Mike was wonderful. We searched for our first home for probably at least 1 1/2 years. My husband watches the markets closely, and was waiting for the market to bottom out (as well as a surprise baby during that time!). We did not want to get ourselves in trouble just because we were trying to take advantage of a buyer's market. After doing so much searching and making a couple of offers that didn't go through, new homeowners can become really discouraged! This is where Mike shined the best. He would just say "alright, let's keep looking, we'll find the right one." He was EXTREMELY patient and encouraging with two rookies, and I know that is the reason we are in the home that is more than I ever dreamed at a price better than we expected. Not only was he patient, but he constantly gave us real estate wisdom and guidance and treated us like we were his children. He found out about our lives personally so that he might give us wisdom/advice as to what would best suit us. I really looked forward to our house-hunts with Mike and a stop at Starbucks along the way --- we really enjoyed his company! Mike is amiable, and no question is off the table; he always makes you feel comfortable. Also as new parents-to-be, he gave us knowledge of things that we didn't even know we might want or need in a home with little toddlers. The day we closed, Mike worked to make sure everything came together smoothly. Even though our actual closing was much longer than usual, he patiently waited with us and never made us feel like a burden. I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone in the area. He went above and beyond in many more ways than I'm even mentioning here, and ensured that our first-home purchase was smooth, successful, and enjoyable!

My husband of a little over a year and I were ready to start looking for our first home. We were a little apprehensive about the whole process and extremely unknowledgeable about what we were getting ourselves into. My brother had used Mike in purchasing his first home, and highly recommended him to us. Mike was absolutely wonderful, and helped us every step of the way. I felt like he was treating us as if we were his own children, and not just another client. He made it very clear from the start that his only concern was that we find the perfect house for US. That was so comforting and it took a lot of pressure off of us because we knew we were going to be treated fairly. He educated us every step of the way so we knew exactly what we were doing and what we were getting ourselves into. Once we found the perfect home, everything went so smoothly. He recommended a wonderful mortgage company and he was in communication with them regularly to ensure everything was being taken care of. At our closing, we found out that there had been a few "bumps" in the process between signing the offer and our closing date. My husband and I were completely oblivious to all of this, and the seller's response was: "Wow, you must have a really good realtor!" So true! Mike had taken care of all the small issues without concerning us and it all worked out perfectly in the end. I highly recommend Mike; he is friendly and so comfortable and easy to work with. Mike was just incredible to work with. When we started to look at homes Mike went on vacation. As things always go the perfect house went on the market the day he left. He set us up with a good friend of his while he was gone, and answered all of questions and kept in touch with us while he was in Florida. We put an offer on the house and got it. That was only the beginning. He helped us through all the negotiating. My husband and I have busy work schedules and he made himself available to be present for our inspection and not only that but to our surprise he paid for our inspection. He gave us tips and pointers all along the way. He then made himself available for the window inspection as well and handled most of the communication for the window quotes. We are first time home buyers and we couldn't have picked a better Realtor then Mike. He even drove up to Fishers to do a walk through with my husband the day we got the keys on a Saturday night. To make sure everything is as we hoped. We received a very generous gift to Lowes as our first house warming gift. But what was the best of all, is his services didn't stop there. He has checked in with us numerous times. Checked up on us recently with lawn and yard care advice and this past weekend we had a scare that we may have termites on our property. He answered all my husbands questions, offered to come out here and look at it with him. Then offered his truck to help remove the firewood. I would recommend Mike to anyone. He guided us through our first home buying experience and became our friend in the process. He went over and above on everything. Thanks Mike!!!

Mike worked extensively with the buyer and his agent to negotiate repairs. He sold our old house for a great price just about two months after we put it on the market, which in this market is impressive! He went above and beyond and worked very hard to get an extremely complicated problem with our title resolved. Without his persistence, the sale probably could not have been completed. I trust him and have always found him to be honest.

We actually found the new home, and fell in love with it before we had even listed our existing home. We wanted to try to get the house on the market ASAP, and hope for the best, because otherwise we would run the risk of losing the new home because of a contingency. Mike gave us great advice with regard to the "staging"of our existing home, and hired a professional photographer, and did the virtual tour, and put feelers out to network the house, and he sold it in 12 DAYS!!! In this economy! So, needless to say we are now in our dream home, thanks to Mike, and all of his hard work. We could have not had a better experience, and I would highly recommend Mike to anyone either buying or selling a home. You will be very pleased, and not to mention, he is about the nicest person to work with! He also got us in contact with a great group of people when we asked for referrals.Highly Recommend!!

Mike was absolutely wonderful. He was in contact with us daily as we negotiated with the seller and sometimes more often. He got the seller down to a really good price and got him to agree with all the repairs we wanted. He was very honest and we felt like we could really trust him. When we discovered a problem with the roof after closing, he advocated for us with the seller. In general he really went above and beyond the call of duty advocating for our interests. He recommended other companies such as a mortgage company and repairmen which we were very happy with. He also sent us a $100 Lowe's gift card to thank us for our business and to congratulate us on our new house, which was very sweet and much appreciated. I can't recommend Mike highly enough.

August of 08 my girlfriend and I found out we were expecting our first child. We were already casually looking for houses, but this helped us step up our search. Mike was recommended by a family member and was very good at helping us learn very quickly about house shopping. He has experience in home repair and helped estimate the costs to fix up some of the lesser homes we were interested in and ultimately saving us from some "artistic/interesting" older homes that we couldn't afford to fix with a new baby. He was willing to setup appointments to look at houses very quickly (sometimes the same day I asked) and most weeks we looked at least 3 days a week for a number of weeks. He was very patient and extremely helpfull and fully understood what we were looking for and what our needs were. I felt very confident in my "house shopping" from all that I learned from Mr. Puckett. We found a house we loved and Mike got us a great price, and got us moved in time to do some painting and flooring before baby Roxie came into the picture. Mike even helped us with our flooring costs when we had a washer ruin part of our brand new floor. We have been in the house since February (its June) and everything is great. Mike is a great person who really likes what he does and cares about the people he is helping. He will defintely sell our house and help us find a new one in 5 years or so.

When we first started searching for a home we had in our mind that we wanted a condominium. Mike showed us some really great condos. In fact, we found what we were looking for, but our circumstances changed and we decided that it would be best for us to purchase a house instead. We felt bad, because Mike had worked so diligently helping us find a condominium and then we decided against it. He immediately switched gears and once we developed an idea of what we were looking for in a new home, Mike quickly had several great ones to show us. We spent a lot of time with Mike and quickly became great friends with him. He is exceptionally friendly, easy to talk to, and unbiased in his advise. We had worked with another realtor previously, that seemed to have an agenda, but Mike obviously did not. Mike treated us like family and really had our best interests at mind. He was always readily accessible and very professional in the manner he conducts business. My wife and I found Mike to be exceptionally informative, knowledgeable, flexible, and punctual throughout the entire process. When we buy another house or sell our current one, we will definitely be utilizing Mike?s services.

The house-buying process can be a tricky thing and there are a lot of people out there who would have tried to take advantage of my fiance and I and our inexperience. Mike, however, saw that as opportunity to teach us a little about the market and help us make sure we didn't make the kinds of mistakes that are getting a lot of people in trouble today. He took time out of his weekends and evenings to take us around looking at houses and was always straigt-forward and honest with us about the condition/value of the house. At the end of the day, we got THE house that we wanted and got it at a great price! There was a small hiccup in the negotiation process but Mike was right there to step in and, again, make sure that we didn't do anything we would regret in the long run. I honestly can't say enough good things about him and the way he conducts business. Anyone looking to buy a home in the greater Indianapolis area would be making a wise decision by giving Mike a call.

Mike was a great help to us in buying our first house. We had found a couple houses we liked, and Mike worked with us even though those fell through. He continually searched for houses that fit the build of what we wanted until we found the right one. As we looked at houses, Mike helped point out good things and bad things about each house, the location, and other issues that a lot of people overlook. I know Mike took extra time with us and bent over backward to help us. When it came down to price haggling, Mike helped us get a great price on the house. He got us set up with a great inspector and even put some money in out of his own pocket to help us out. Mike is a great Christian man, who will do anything he can to help out his clients.

It is HARD to find a good, honest and caring real estate agent these days. We have bought and sold 3 homes previously and this has been by far the best experience we have had. Mike Puckett is a very knowledgeable and dedicated agent who went far beyond the typical real estate agent duties to make sure we would be able to find and purchase our new home. He is very friendly, easy to talk to, attentive to details, always returns a phone call the same day, works hard and late to make sure his clients are not only satisfied, but thrilled. When working with him, we never felt pushed or pressed to make a hasty decision. Although our situation was very complicated since the mortgage company required us to sell our home before being able to buy a new one, Mike made our experience painless, coming up with the idea of a lease to purchase agreement and worked out all the details of this unusual transaction in a very professional manner. After we moved in (but still leasing), Mike came to visit a few times to make sure we were satisfied with our new home and even paid for a few small repairs that needed to be done. We could not have found a more caring and professional agent to help us and we can only HIGHLY recommend Mike Puckett's services.
