Mike and his crew did an amazing job. They remodeled my entire kitchen when my washing machine flooded my downstairs worked with my insurance company to get me the best outcome on my claim. The flooring is absolutely amazing that he picked out his crew. Also, did my roof. The amount below is for my brand new kitchen only

They did a great job and they did some extra work that was not part of the job.

It went very good. The crew arrived on time we're courteous and friendly and we're always working . After the install they did a very good job of cleaning up all the debris. Mike ( the owner) responded in a timely manner whenever I had a question. Also his price for the job was very competitive. Would definitely use them again.

I paid Mike to come fix my roof, and he never did. I am unhappy with him, and I would not suggest for anyone on Angie's lsit to use him.

Originally, a family member was scheduled to do the remodel, but at the last minute it didn't work out. Because MC Construction had done a great job of exterior work on our home in the spring, we called to ask if they could please, please, please take on our project. We'd already purchased or ordered all of the materials, some of which were sitting right inside our front door at the time. They got started right away and spent a couple of weeks here, coming promptly every morning and leaving at about the same time the family started piling in in the afternoons. Mornings are crazy-chaotic around here so having a contractor willing to hold off the start of the day until 9:00 a.m. or after meant a lot to us! They were great about explaining to me the order things should be done, helping me make decisions when we ran into the unexpected or unplanned, even pointing out details that could be improved. Everything went smoothly with the exception of some delayed parts, but they were patient about that too. Not one single complaint . . . they were professional, left everything clean at the end of the day, and the work is top-notch quality.

MC Construction was recommended by a friend who had a great experience with Mike Clumb owner of MC Construction. We had Mike come out and give us a quote to remodel our kitchen and master bath which included new tile floors and a new custom tile shower also replace all cabinetry. MC Constructions quote was one of three that we received, their quote was very detailed and described all the work to be done and the time frame for the completion of the work. All the employees were very friendly clean and punctual. The tile work was amazing and we have had so many complements, everything was completed on budget and on time. Mike noticed that there was hail and wind damage to our roof. He meet with our adjuster pointed out the damage and our entire roof was replaced we would have never even known that it was damaged if not for Mike. We would recommend Mike for any remodeling need. The roof was replaced in a very timely manner they covered all shrubs flowers and yard art we have with plywood preventing any damage and cleaned up after themselves daily. We will use Mike from now on for all of our construction needs.

It started out with me picking the wrong color on the exterior of my house, MC construction was very receptive when I called them on the first night to change to a different color. So they re-painted the front of my house with a different color and it looks magnificent. I appreciated their attention to detail and their clean up. My house has a lot of brick and the trimming all the way around the house is perfect with no paint or spots anywhere. I found some rotting wood under the front bay window the day before I scheduled them to start painting. I called them and asked if they could replace the wood and it was no problem. Problem solved. I would highly recommend this company for home improvement. ............

MC Construction was very responsive to my request for an inspection and estimate. My roof was damaged and leaking and I needed someone quickly to replace the roof so no further damage was done. They worked my insurance company (State Farm) and was able facilitate getting 100% of the repair and replacement covered by the insurance company. They also worked with my insurance company on some minor supplemental work and coverage. They did an excellent job with the cleanup after the job as complete.

Mike Clumb came VERY highly recommended from friends who had used his services on a regular basis. I knew he was the right guy for the job when, after just finishing a meeting here with my husband and driving home, he got back in his truck in the middle of a thunderstorm to bring samples again for me to change color choices! Decisions all made, the dumpster, shingles and supplies were all delivered early of the morning they started so they didn't sit around for days. The whole crew showed up promptly on the day scheduled. They covered the lawn around the house where things needed to be protected (air conditioner, etc.) but still had someone cleaning up as they tore shingles off. For the couple of days it took to do roof, they showed up every morning at the same time, worked late, and they were all exceptionally polite. Mike also quickly brought to our attention when there were problems that needed to be addressed - instead of ignoring them or covering them up, as previous contractors have. They finished on time, on budget, and we were so impressed with their work that we asked them to make some other repairs and repaint the trim on the entire house. When those two major jobs were finished, I shared with Mike that I wished ALL contractors were as easy to work with (I'd just had a deck washer/painter put me off for several weeks and a handyman disappear) so I could get a few small projects finally finished! To my surprise, he asked what we needed done and then offered to take care of them for us. I jumped at the chance and gave him the list of handyman repairs (which they knocked out in no time at a very reasonable rate), described what I wanted with my pool deck and the wood deck off the house (they scrubbed and painted both). Our house looks brand new and we've had several neighbors and family members comment on how nice it looks. Best of all, though, we have a new go-to guy for anything and everything that needs to be done around here and we know that it will be done on a timely and affordable manner.

The experience was the worst of our lives. The contractor did not perform all the work included in the contract. Much of the work performed was below standard including following examples (not all of our complaints): - kitchen tile failed immediately after installation. Grout cracked. We learned that concrete board was not installed to manufacturer's installation instructions, causing a major problem in kitchen and upstairs bathroom - Basement tile failed immediately after installation. Grout cracked. We learned that wrong cement and grout were used - Very poor quality work including damaging the home surrounding work performed. Two toilets were damaged and never repaired - Not all contracted services were performed including making doors, installing tile back-splash in kitchen, installation of cabinets and shelves - Basement baseboard not nailed properly and is coming loose from wall - Subcontractors were not paid for the work they performed - Contractor claims that some of the work is not included in the contract even though we found it listed in work to be performed Contractor is demanding final payment even though work is not completed and engaged a lawyer to request payment. We 'made our case' to the lawyer and he is no longer corresponding with us. Law suit is being filed in small claims court to recover amount he owes for improper work and work not performed.
