It sucked. It sucked. It sucked.
Description of Work: Absolutley do not use this company. Run the other way as fast as you can. We bid several local movers and they were the least expensive - and we learned why - the hard way! Where to start? Hmm. They missed our moving day by 24 hrs. They said oops. Did not send enough guys to pack and move. They said oops. Then they wanted to charge us MORE for the privilege of their mistakes. Do not use this company.

We were very nervous about our moving experience because it is a relatively complicated situation involving more than one move and uncertain timing and dates. Master Movers gave us a quote that was less than three other competitors so we chose them even though we had read some not so great reviews. From reading reviews of all the movers it seemed as if everyone had a very unique moving experience no matter who they hired so it felt sort of like rolling the dice no matter who we went with. With Master Movers we read everything carefully and asked a lot of questions, and to our great relief it all went really well. Ben and Marilyn were open to all of our questions and were great about keeping us informed and checking up on the progress of the move. I felt that they were very forthcoming about charges and policies. In fact, Ben was the only representative of the four companies we met with to bring the difference of valuation versus insurance to my attention, a very important detail we needed to be aware of. The movers were very friendly and very careful with our things. I can't even begin to count the number of moving blankets they must have used to protect our furniture. Watching them carry our enormously heavy elliptical machine up the basement stairs was crazy. It gave us a whole new respect for movers! These guys worked really hard the whole time and took the shortest lunch break in history only to get right back to work. And they sent us four movers instead of three! We ended up having more items than our original estimate had indicated but we had a binding quote so we were not charged extra. Our things are now in storage awaiting the final part of our move and given the way the first part of the move went I have no worries that the rest will go just as well. I keep asking myself what made some of the other reviewers have such different experiences and I have to say that in a lot of these cases it seemed to have come down to not understanding the terms of the contract or not reading it thoroughly. In our experience the move was all done and charged exactly as the contract stated. The implication that they are out to swindle people seems totally counter to our experience and in the end reading those reviews only served to cause me completely unnecessary stress! We are looking forward to the completion of our move with Master Movers when the time comes and will not hesitate to use them again!
Description of Work: Packed and moved four bedroom home and delivered to storage until new house is ready...will then move from storage to new house.

The movers that came were courteous and uniformed. However, they didn't send enough trucks to move our belongings. It took the entire day to pack up our stuff and they still weren't done. They filled up 2 trucks and moved the belongings to Ft Wayne the next day after driving back to Indianapolis that night. There was still stuff in Lafayette. So, they went back to Lafayette from Ft Wayne to get the last load and bring that to Ft. Wayne. All in all, it took 3 days for them complete this job. We told them how much stuff we had, they didn't come out to do an estimate and it ended up being way off. They are charging us per hour for each worker plus per hour of driving. The estimate they gave is way off. They charged $20 for wardrobe boxes and $15 per normal boxes. They required cash before they would unload the truck. We could use a credit card with a 4% service charge, which would have been $400. So, we had to pay them $9800 cash to get our stuff from the trucks, which was a huge inconvenience as we are setting up bank accounts and transferring funds to our new area. All in all, we had to sign 5 contracts with them. They split up the work days. It was a lot of paperwork and a lot of charges. There was fine print in the contract that we had to pay cash. They left 2 large safes in the truck when they drove back to Lafayette because we hadn't paid them yet. Administration was difficult to work with. I would advise people that use them to watch the hours and make sure they are accurate.
Description of Work: They packed up and moved us from Lafayette to Fort Wayne IN.

A representative from the company came out prior to the move to view the scope of work and put together an estimate for the job. After reviewing the estimate we signed a not to exceed contract with the company to move our furniture and faxed it into the office. The contract included all tape, moving blankets, mattress covers, and moving materials. We had packed and were moving the boxes ourselves since it was a local move. The actual crew who came out did a good job of moving our belongings. They were careful with our furniture and wrapped everything to prevent damage. The crew was very efficient and completed our move well within the given time frame. Unfortunately we had completely different experiences with the crew and the front office. The first issue that came up upon arrival was that the movers wanted to park their truck on the driveway. When they were told that they needed to park on the street it was stated that there would be an extra fee even though it was only another 20 feet further. This was eventually resolved without further cost. The next issue that came up was that the movers did not have a copy of the signed contract. They only had a copy of the proposal that was sent out for us to sign. We had to review the agreement and sign it again. They tried to have us sign an added cost page for additional items which included tape, plastic wrap for couches, mattresses and large furniture which was to be included in the cost. This resulted in an additional delay in the move while trying to resolve this issue. They finally agreed that the cost was included in the move except for wrapping the couches. After everything was loaded on the truck it was relayed that the only forms of payment were cash or postal money order. A credit card could be used for an additional 5% fee which was later reduced to 4%. The method of payment, which may or may not have been previously disclosed, was very frustrating since I did not want to pay with cash or pay an additional fee to use a credit card. As a side note they had no problem holding the reservation and accepting the deposit with a credit card. Upon each of the problems listed above we tried unsuccessfully to reach a manager in the office or our moving consultant to try to resolve the problems, which in and of itself became very frustrating.

Luis, the foreman, called me when he was 15 minutes from my apartment to let me know they were coming. Not only were they on time, they were early!! They also offered not to come early if it was inconvenient for me. I paid for 2 movers, but got 3! I am sure this isn't standard, but I really appreciated it! They got the job done faster then I expected, so it actually cost me less then I planned to spend on the movers. They treated my items with care, and although I was worried I would have things broken, nothing was! They were careful when moving the furniture into our new home, and even took up our King mattress that we bought the day before but couldn't get up ourselves. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for movers! Their rates were well below the average and their work was fabulous! Ask for Luis to be your foreman! We will definitely use them again in the future if we move again!

We hired Master Movers for our move. During the estimate my wife had spoke with Ben the owner of the company. My wife had directly asked him if they were licensed and insured. Ben stated “We all are, we have to be.” At no time did he ever mention different insurances that we had to buy. Ben informed my wife “That we had nothing to worry about, and that they will take care of everything for $888.” Moving day they showed up 5 hours late, after stating that “they didn’t have the papers and the truck broke down.” About an hour into the move it started to rain, the movers were walking though the muddy grass and walking on the carpets that were cleaned the day before. Back when my wife hired them, Ben stated that they would cover all the floors and the doors. That didn’t happen. The only thing covered or laid down for protection was a cover at the front door. My wife was so upset she called during the move to complain. Ben did call the movers but there were not changes made. During the move, one of the workers informed me that I had to pay in cash or would be charge 15% extra if I was going to use a credit card. In addition, one worker showed me a hole in his show and said that they needed to stop at Wal-Mart to get a new pair. While I waited in the parking lot along side the truck for 45 minutes. They appeared with leftovers from Subway. During the move, my early 19 Century desk was thrown on it’s top and broke off one of the very thick legs. All the weight must have been placed on that one leg when it was pulled off. One of the workers had it on its top trying to screw the pieces back together. Another worker apologized and wanted to repair it with gorilla glue. In conclusion, I spoke to Ben and he said “Give me a couple weeks to make you happy.” Never heard back from Ben but I received a letter with a flat out lie that we didn’t pay for insurance. The very first conversation he had with my wife he claimed that there was insurance but at no point were we informed about different insurance options. I sent pictures and estimates for the repair of the desk. I filled out a claim for the desk and carpets to be re-cleaned. Their only reply was a referral for 10% off of carpet cleaning and that they will only pay us $126 towards the repair of the desk which will cost $480 to fix the damage caused by them. I thought it would be nice to not ask for damages to an interior door with a chip on it, large scar on the front door and additional broken items caused by them. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and the Attorney General’s Office for Consumer Affairs.

It started out horrible. The lady that set the appointment and gave me the estimate said that they would be there at 12 noon or shortly after. I had prepared everything to the best of my ability so that all they had to do was walk in, pick up the items, and place them on the truck. I had all of my son's toys in totes, as well as all kitchen, bath, small appliances... everything was in totes for easy carrying and packing. By 2:30 they still hadn't arrived so I called the office (which was the only number I had) and got a recording saying that the office was closed but I could leave a message which I did. I finally got a call from their driver at 3 saying that they were told to be at my address between 2 and 4 which didn't coincide with what I was told. He said he had to pick up one of his riders and he would be right there. An hour and a half later, they finally pull up. We filled out the paperwork for them to begin at 4:30 and they didn't pick one item up to move it to the truck till 5:00. They wrapped up all of my furniture, which was nice but time consuming. It also didn't prevent them from damaging the base of my TV, a drawer handle on my coffee table, and break a shelf on a bookcase of mine. I haven't sent the claim forms in yet to know how that's going to go but I'll keep you informed. After beginning to move my things at 5, they were still moving things at 7:30. I only had a two bedroom apartment! No appliances, no sleeper sofas, no dining room furniture other than a small table. There is a lady that lives below me that has a pizza business who was kind enough to fix the movers a pizza for dinner. Once the pizza was ready they quit moving my things (while still on the clock) to eat dinner. The supervisor was also on and off his phone the entire night conducting other moving business. They finally left my new apartment at 11:30 that night and charged $300 more than my first estimate that was conducted over the phone and $200 more than the driver's estimate when he got there. It was horrible!! I will never do business with them again nor will I ever refer them to anyone I know. To put it all into perspective, I had one of their competitors move all of my belongings from Lebanon to Carmel and they were in and out in 3-1/2 hours and I was only charged $380.
Description of Work: They were moving all of my furniture and belongings from my old 2 bedroom apartment in Carmel to my new apartment that was only 6 miles away in Westfield.

THEY ARRIVED ON TIME AND LUIS WAS IN CHARGE OF THE MOVE. HE HAD ALL THE 0APERWORK READY AND EXPLAINED EVERYTHING. HE WAS VERY INFORMED ABOUT THE PROCESS. WE DID A WALK AROUND IN THE HOUSE, AND THEN THEY GOT TO WORK. ONCE THEY STARTED, THEY DIDN'T STOP. WHEN THEY WERE NOT SURE OF SOMETHING, THEY ASKED. MY FURNITURE WAS TREATED WITH CARE, AND LUIS WAS WATCHFUL OVER THE BOXES I HAD MARKED "FRAGILE". I WAS SO WORRIED ABOUT ALL OF MY CRYSTAL, BUT NOT ONE ITEM WAS BROKEN. THEY SHOWED THE SAME CARE AND RSPECT OF MY BELONGINGS WHEN THEY UNPACKED. THE MOVING DAY I WAS DREADING TURNED OUT TO BE A MOST PLEASANT EXPERIENCE. BARBARA, THE CONTACT, AND BEN, THE OWNER,, WERE ON TOP OF ALL DETAILS OF MY MOVE. THEY WERE SO PLEASANT WHEN I WOULD MAKE CHANGES AND CONFIRMED ALL OF THE CHANGES THROUGH E-MAIL, WHICH MADE IT VERY CONVENIENT AND PROFESSIONNAL. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY, AND WOULD REQUEST LUIS.

Was not happy with the fact that they're truck became stuck in my drive and while having it towed they whipped out a good portion of bushes and damaged a chain link fence. It's still not settled but I have my concerns it will be blown off.
Description of Work: I felt that there were to many areas in their estimate and fine print that would be taken advantage of and I was correct. The movers were rough with items and loose with packing truck, several scratches and broker pieces. They were equally rough with items moving in.

Response from Master Movers LLC
We are responding to the members complaint 1) our contract for local move is very simple it is based on hourly rate and who is going to do the packing (such as Master Movers or is the actual customer doing the packing) if the member was sticking to his order (doing his own packing as agreed) he will not be charged anything additional for example if he said i will do the packing and he did not he will be charged if he said last minutes that he needs to stay in storage then he will be charged for storage and this is exactly what happened to the member. 2) the truck did get stuck on his driveway if anyone will check the address he moved to, its a very narrow and very complicated to come with a 26 foot truck, on top of that he choose to move on a snowy day the weather was extremely bad, yes we did have one of the wheels of the truck leaving a very minor hole in the unfinished driveway so for that we offer to come to his home and fix the damage he refused our offer and instead of that chose to get a discount in his storage fee's we at Master Movers are willing to fax anyone that asked for the bill of lading and show you the discount we do appreciated the members business and we believe that after almost 10 years of moving experience, many of our present customers return to move with us for the 2nd and 3rd time . OUR OVERALL RATING WITH ANGIES LIST IS B!!!!!! We are working very hard to changed this B to an A rating

Master Movers did a great job for me. They took my request on "short-notice", and made some special arrangements, so that my shipment could be delivered more quickly than expected. They followed-up with me by phone, and notified me when the driver was on his way. The shipment was delivered quickly and quietly by 2 of their movers, and they even off-loaded the materials to the job site, 50 feet away! They didn't drop or break anything (which is always a concern, right?), and they provided me with a receipt for all of the charges & fees before they left, so I had no surprises about my bill. I was able to stay on schedule with the project, and thanks to Master Movers, it was easy and affordable. Why isn't every company this good?

They were WONDERFUL and I would highly recommend them. This was a very difficult job full of many obstacles. They were extremely professional, timely, and dealt with every single obstacle. And they cleaned up everything and left both yards even nicer then when they found them!!! They showed up on time Monday morning and the owner even brought me a Starbucks coffee!!!! Not a bad way to start off a Monday morning. I couldn't have asked for any better or nicer company. We will use them again whenever we need movers and I would absolutely recommend them.

The guys showed up on time (10 minutes early), they came in did some packing for me, used some blankets for my furniture and started to load the truck. At my new home Master Movers protected my floors and the doorways. I had 2 movers and did not pay any traveling time. The guys were very professional and very polite. They answered all my questions and the total job took only 15 minutes longer then the estimate I was given. The girls in the office were very friendly from beginning to end. I would use them again in the future. I do expect to be moving again in about 6 months this move is only temporary.

At first, I was put off by this company when they moved my appointment time with less than 24 hours notice. But I called and complained, and they moved me back, and the movers showed up promptly at the originally scheduled time. The movers were friendly, efficient, careful, and very responsive to my needs. The job was done in a reasonable amount of time, and I never once caught the movers slacking off. One caveat: they only accept cash or cashier's checks, so be prepared for that.

The day of the move, I had my niece with me. She witnessed them pulling into a parking lot at the shopping plaza right next to where I live. When they unloaded my property at my new residence, it took me four days to realize everything that was missing. I have $2,566 worth of missing items. Every day that number grows because I am finding more things that are missing. The biggest items that they took are my bank statements, a birth certificate, and an IPOD. I bought the boxes from UHaul so they were marked with the exact items so they could tell what was in them and what they wanted. They were gone for an hour. They told me they went to lunch. They told me they ate at Burger King. I saw the driver when he pulled up to the front of my residence. He was eating a sandwich with blue paper. I went over to Burger King and asked if they had blue sandwich paper. They said they did not. The owner Benjamin fired Allan Smith, but he has not fired Juan. I don't know his last name. Now, the owner is telling me in order to keep me from filing an insurance claim, by saying that the employees are admitting to stealing an IPOD only. The Fishers police department have talked to the owner. He is admitting that something did happen, but Juan is not releasing any information. The Fishers police department have been very slow to respond. I think this is not a priority to them. They destroyed one table. When they brought the items they threw them at the walls. I have taken photos to show the damage to the walls. The way they were able to get away with me not realizing the boxes were missing were just by putting the boxes down anywhere even though they were labeled with what room they belong to. They said their boss called them and told them that they needed to be at another job. They were 45 minutes late to my home. I have saved all of my emails. They told me they would have three movers, but they only sent two. They got to my house at nine o'clock, but by 1:30 they sent a third mover. They gossiped the entire time they were here. They were telling me about a former move they had done where a young woman with a three month old baby was married to a doctor who was committing adultery. I have been in contact with the owner since December 13th. He is refusing to send me the paperwork to file the insurance claim. He originally stated that he was going to file the insurance claim, and asked me not to do it. He wanted to make a statement to the rest of the employees. All he was doing was keeping me from filing the insurance claim myself. He was asking me not to file charges against his business and his employees. He was going to be the one who wanted to do that.

The entire experience was horrible. I have a list of complaints. 1) When I booked them for the move, I was promised a 10% discount if I signed up with them right away. Instead of $105 an hour, I was going to be charged $95. It was not in the contract, which was my big mistake, but I was assured it would be honored. On the day of the move, the movers had never heard of my discount. I called the office and spoke to Nick, the man who took my reservation and who had promised us the discount. He said that, "Yes, he saw in his notes that we were to be given the discount." He was going to call the movers and make sure they knew about the discount. At the end of the 12 hour day, when we were paying the bill, the movers still had not heard anything about a discount. It was 9:00 pm and when we called the office again, Nick was not in. The owner would not honor the discount. We had to pay the $105 per hour price. 2) They estimated our move would be 5 to 6 hours. Instead, like I said above, they spent 6 hours just packing our furniture onto the truck! The entire job took them 12 hours. Again, we had packed all of our belongings and moved them ourselves!! It took them 6 hours to just pack the furniture! 3) When they arrived at our house the morning of the move, they told my husband that they would not 'pack' any of our belongings without his permission. Next thing he knew, they had gone around the house and 'packed' several boxes, charging us $25 per box plus packing supplies. They packed the cushions from our couch and several other things that did not need to be packed. We had an additional $300 added to our bill for 'packing supplies'! 4) Everything had to be paid in cash! We were not prepared to pay $1500 in cash because they had estimated only 6 hours total. It was very frustrating having to pay that bill. Like I said earlier, the entire experience was horrendous. Moving is stressful enough, this company made it miserable. We are convinced that they make their money by scamming customers. I have called them nearly every day since our move, which was 3 weeks ago. I have talked to Nick about our discount. He continues to tell me that he knows it was promised to me and that he will talk to his supervisor about getting us reimbursed. The owner, Joe, has called and told me that he must see something in writing because he can not just take a customer's word that we were promised the discount. I have asked him to talk directly to Nick because he is aware of the discount promised to me. I do not plan on seeing the money. I get the same runaround every time we talk. It's very frustrating. Please do not ever use this company. It is a shady company in every way possible.
Description of Work: They moved our furniture from our 3400 square foot home. We had packed all of our own boxes and moved them to our new house prior to them coming. Our new house was a 30 minute drive for the movers. They packed the truck with our furniture, unloaded the truck at the new house, put together any furniture that needed it, like our beds, and moved all of the boxes that we had moved to the garage of the new house into the correct rooms. The movers were courteous and polite, although VERY slow. They spent 6 hours just packing our furniture onto the truck.

MY MOVERS WERE HORRIBLE AND SO WAS THE MOVE EXPERIENCE! NEVER USE THIS COMPANY, EVER!!!!! THEIR PRICES WERE LOW AND NOW I KNOW WHY! THEY BROKE MY LAMP AND SEVERAL OTHER ITEMS. THEY REFUSED TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY. SO, WE ARE GOING TO COURT SOON!
Description of Work: Two young, inexperienced, movers were sent to move me on 4/19/08. They were 1.5 hours late. They were not professionals by any means! They broke an expensive lamp that was brand new (which they had just picked up from the furniture store on the day of my move). They also damaged several other pieces of my furniture and then refused to compensate me for the damages. I was willing to overlook the damages except the lamp but that did not help and now they have resorted to falsifying a document that I previously signed; in an effort to avoid taking responsibility for any of the broken and damaged items. They do have insurance for liability situations but refused to let me file a claim. They said that it was my fault and I would not let them use packing materials on the items they moved for me. This is completely untrue. Additionally, the movers tried to take my furniture away on the truck because I would not pay them more than I owed, per my agreement They wanted an extra $125.00 and I would not pay it. I had to call the police to intervene to get my items from the movers. I finally got my items off the truck and tried to file a claim for damages... I was told there was no way to do that. I have tried to speak with Master Movers on several occasions and they will not even talk to me on the phone. My only communication has been via email. This business is very shady and I have three witnesses to validate my story and also a police officer that was involved at the scene. I will see them in court very soon.

Response from Master Movers LLC
Unfortunately, the member chose for our moving crew to move her belongings unwrapped, and therefore, unprotected. She signed and dated our "Addendum to Uniform Household Goods Bill of Lading," which provides, "I acknowledge that I have requested the moving crew to attempt to maneuver [the listed] furniture, and knowingly accept the risk to such piece of furniture..." All large furniture, lamps and knickknacks are listed on the document. Although the member released Master Movers from liability, we - on several occasions - offered her the coverage option she selected: $0.60/pound/article. To date, the member has not followed our claims procedure to receive compensation. As we are with all of our customers, we have been responsive to her complaints and requests. We welcome her to file a claim with our claims department.

They underestimated what they had to move and did not include the charges for boxes and the boxes were like a hidden cost. They wanted us to pay for an emergency truck that would come out to get the rest of our stuff. We ended up having to pay for the emergency truck even though it was not our fault. The movers themselves were nice but in my opinion, the owner was just horrible to deal with and was very rude to us over the phone. They didn't discount the service even though they delivered our items a day late. We would not use them again.

FOR EACH MOVE BOOKED, THE CUSTOMER SIGNS AN ORDER FOR SERVICE. THIS DOCUMENT CLEARLY EXPLAINS ALL CHARGES - INCLUDING THE CHARGE FOR A SECOND TRUCK (IT STATES A 26' TRUCK IS PROVIDED AS PER THE CUSTOMER'S INVENTORY LIST) AND ALL PACKING SUPPLIES. MASTER MOVERS PRIDES ITSELF ON SUPERIOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. WE ENCOURAGE THE ACTUAL CUSTOMER TO CONTACT US DIRECTLY IF FURTHER ARBITRATION IS DESIRED.

I WAS INFORMED (IN THE MIDDLE OF THE MOVE) THAT I WOULD HAVE TO PAY (IN CASH) AT THE END OF THE FIRST TRIP BEFORE THEY UNLOADED AND THEN AGAIN AFTER THE SECOND TRIP. I ASK THE OWNER WHY? HIS ONLY ANSWER WAS SO THAT PEOPLE HAVE STIFFED HIM. I THOUGHT THAT WAS VERY ODD AND I WAS VERY OFFENDED BY THERE MISTRUST OF THERE CUSTOMERS AFTER ALL WE DID HAVE THEM DO WORK FOR US JUST A FEW WEEKS BEFORE AT A RENTAL HOME WE OWN. I CALLED TO SAY I WAS NOT PLEASED AT THE WAY I WAS TREATED AND WILL FILE A NEGATIVE REPORT. HIS REPLY WAS HE WOULD SUE ME AND ASK ME HOW WAS MY TRIP TO THE MALL . I KNOW MORE ABOUT YOU THEN YOU THINK I SAW YOU AND YOUR FAMILY SITTING ON A BENCH IN THE MALL. THIS WAS VERY CREEPY BECAUSE WE NEVER MET HIM I ONLY TALKED TO HIM ON THE PHONE.

I AM RESPONDING TO THIS CUSTOMER JUST NOW BECAUSE I DIDN'T THINK THAT THIS WOULD GO SO FAR. FIRST OF ALL, AS A PROFESSIONAL IN THE MOVING BUSINESS, I WOULD LIKE TO APOLOGIZE IF THE MEMBER GOT OFFENDED BY ME FOLLOWING THE CONTRACT, AND ASKING FOR CASH OR A POSTAL MONEY ORDER. WE SEND A DETAILED ORDER OF SERVICE TO EACH OF OUR CUSTOMERS. THIS ORDER FOR SERVICE CLEARLY STATES THAT THE CUSTOMER NEEDS TO PAY CASH OR MONEY ORDER. I AGREED TO LET HIM PAY FOR THE FIRST MOVE WITH CHECK BECAUSE THE JOB ONLY COST $300. FOR THE SECOND MOVE, I DID NOT AGREE BECAUSE IT WAS A BIGGER AMOUNT OF $1345. MASTER MOVERS IS A GOLD MEMBER WITH THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU AND A MEMBER WITH THE AMERICAN MOVING AND STORAGE ASSOCIATION. IN REGARDS TO THE MALL STORY, I WOULD NEVER LET MY CUSTOMER OR ANYONE FEEL THAT I WOULD THREATEN ANYONE. I FEEL THAT THE MEMBER IS ACCUSING MASTER MOVERS OF THINGS THAT NEVER HAPPENED. ANYTHING THAT HE WAS TOLD BY THE MOVERS, WAS INFORMATION THAT HE READ OVER, SIGNED AND FAXED BACK BEFORE THE DAY OF THE MOVE.

THE MOVERS WERE EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL AND CAREFUL. THEY ARRIVED JUST WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD. THE FOREMAN WAS WELL-SPOKEN, EXPLAINED BILLING AND LIABILITY ISSUES CLEARLY AND ACCURATELY. THE MOVERS WORKED QUICKLY AND EFFICIENTLY, WRAPPING FURNITURE WITH BLANKETS IN AN ORGANIZED WAY. THEY WORKED TYPICALLY IN TEAMS OF TWO, AND I DON'T THINK I SAW THEM TAKE A BREAK DURING THE ENTIRE 6 HOUR PERIOD. WHEN SETTING UP IN THE NEW HOUSE, THEY FOLLOWED INSTRUCTIONS ABOUT WHICH ROOMS IN WHICH TO PLACE BOXES AND FURNITURE, AND WHEN THEY HAD DISASSEMBLED THINGS TO MOVE THEM, THE PUT THEM BACK TOGETHER AGAIN IN THE NEW LOCATION. OVERALL, I FELT THEY WERE GOOD VALUE FOR THE MONEY. WE CANNOT COMMENT ON HOW WELL THEY PACK ITEMS, AS WE'D ALREADY PACKED OUR VALUABLES, NOR ON THEIR PRICES FOR BOXES AND OTHER ITEMS, SINCE WE ALREADY HAD MOST OF THOSE THINGS.
Description of Work: THIS COMPANY MOVED ALL OF OUR POSSESSIONS - FURNITURE, AND BOXED ITEMS - FROM OUR THIRD FLOOR WALK-UP APARTMENT FOUR MILES TO OUR NEW HOME ON THE NORTH SIDE. WE HIRED FOUR MEN TO DO THE WORK, WHICH THE ACCOMPLISHED IN ABOUT 6 HOURS.
