Description of Work: On December 8 mid morning, I called for a quote asking if same day service was possible. I spoke with Linda and she said there was a special running for $75 per day with a 3 hour minimum and that I could have a third guy for an $30 per hour, which I accepted. She required $75 deposit for the first hour's work which I gave a credit card. She did not tell me about the one hour travel time, but I'm not going to fuss about that. This should have been a 3 hour job total but the foreman jerked me around for an hour with paperwork before getting down to business. | |Movers showed up 30 minutes early and I was not home but they started charging me from that time. When we started on the paperwork, foreman said it was $149 per hour. I fussed with him and the dispatcher and they knew I had to be out of the apartment on the 8th so they held me hostage and since I was in a desperate situation I went ahead and signed the contract under extreme duress. I was verbally abused by the dispatcher and the foreman was completely incompetent. The two young movers did all the work while the foreman stretched out the paperwork for an hour. | |I was promised Linda that this move would cost me $241. Not sure how she did the math on that, but it should have been $315. I ended up being taken to the cleaners for $681. They should be in the penalty box. Many complaints with BBB. I'm filing a complaint with the Attorney General's office and taking them to small claims court. Join me in a class action lawsuit if anybody else has had this terrible experience with this criminal enterprise.

Description of Work: Moved the furniture and large stuff for about a 1 bedroom apartment. Mover guys were pretty low-brow. It was done in a grab-n-go style, picking up items and situating them on the truck. Their lift did not work, the truck was dirty too. My stuff isn't super fancy at all, but there wasn't a lot of respect for it either. Cheap, but like hiring two goons through a temp service.

Per the information there were no issues notated on the day of the move or anything that shows you called in with an issue after the move was completed. If you asked for your belongings not to be wrapped then the crew would have you sign a waiver and do as instructed. Master Movers prides themselves on continually striving to improve our customer service in the field along with our performance. Our movers come to fully uniformed and the trucks are cleaned out after every shift. We thank you for expressing your experience and look to continue to provide top notch services.
