LOWE'S HOME IMPROVEMENT

Lowes deserves less than 0 stars for a paid job of nearly $2000. We ordered interior doors and installation on 10/20/2023. They lost the order. The lead assessment was never done. We finally got an install date for 12/1. They called on the 1st to cancel due to rain. We called them back and got an install date of 12/6. They texted on the 5th (today) to reschedule for the 14th. We called today to ask why. No help there; they lost our order AGAIN but promised to look into it. We were on hold for 18 minutes and then they hung up. We called back yet again. The next representative was rude and wouldn't listen. Another 13 minutes wasted with no resolution. Our next step is going back to the store for a refund. Enough is ENOUGH.

They made it up for it and gave us a discount. It took us about 4 months to get something done. They came back and made it right. The second time around, they did everything right. The first time it was terrible. The installer they used was bad the first time and then we got a new installer, and he was good. At Lowe's, they are very good about customer service. They always make sure I am taken care of. It might be a while but they take care of their customers. I came across them through a cousin who used them in the past, and we shopped around and they had better prices. They were good. I still recommend them.

They measured my cabinets wrong and they ordered the wrong cabinets. What should have been simple tasks, they failed miserable. I would never use Low’s for any home improvement. They asked me if I moved my window because the cabinets couldn’t fit. We went without a kitchen sink for 8 weeks. This was supposed to be a 2 months job and it turned into a four months job.

It was easy. The location was convenient, and they sent it to my house.

We arrived not long before closing during a heavy rain. If it weren't for s sale, we would have picked a different time to go. A clerk helped us load the cart with 20 bags of heavy mulch, then pushed the cart to the door while my husband pulled the car to the door. The clerk then proceeded to help load the car, all while the rain poured down on him. Excellent service!

It’s not going so well with Lowe’s Home Improvement. They’re attempting to install a fence. They got it three quarters done and it’s been a two weeks delay since. They’re not communicative, not punctual, very disorganized, seemed to have more work than their staff is capable of managing, or obviously incapable of mentoring what they order and what they deliver. I would recommend them but they’re over priced and their ability to perform a job in a punctual and timely manner is totally not recommended. I've canceled some other projects I have with them.

My experience went very well. The staff very professional and knowledgeable in their field. They did a wonderful job and the pricing was reasonable. I would highly recommend this company to others.

Bought a patio door an the contractor they used to install was excellent. They keep the work area very clean an got the job done very efficiently .

It went OK. They came out and measured and I picked out the wood in the store. Then they showed up to install it. I didn't have any issues with them. It was a good price.

Went to the store, picked out a carpet that had an 8 day delivery. Paid $35.00 for someone to come to the house to measure the rooms. The intent was to replace only the carpet, to list the house for sale. The intent was told to the salesperson that set up the contract to have the person to measure the rooms to call within 48 hours. Lowes double booked the date and time we were scheduled tohave the rooms measured. We were fit in at 4:30pm. The person that came out and measure the spaces, told my husband that the warranty was not transferrable to the new homeowner and if the pad wasnot needed, we should not repalce it. They came out on a Friday - knowing it was going to take 8 days for the carpet come in, I went to the store on Sunday to place the order for the carpet, only to find out the information was not turned in. Tameka called to arrange the final steps and needed to call me back, several hours later she returned the call, told the price of the pad and carpet. I told her we were not interested in replacing the pad. She told me then Lowe's could not install the carpet ifwe didn't but the pad Having had two conversations with Lowe's employees - neither told us that we had to get a pad if we wanted them to install the carpet. It doubled the cost - the priceshe quotedid not havethe installers removing and hauling away the old carpet. I searched the Lowe's website and could not find a statement to support that a pad needed to be purchased. That information should be disclosed. I am disappointed in the service we received from this store and would not recommend this store for any home improvements.

My carpet installation has been scheduled but not yet completed. I do not foresee issues with the contractor but the issues with Lowe's have been plentiful. First off, if you are trying to reach Flooring by phone you are S.O.L. You will be hustled around the phone system until (hopefully) you get someone. I picked out my carpet before the estimate, down to the pad. I asked Lowe's for an itemization of the charges and they gave the info. to me over the phone. When I went in to get my contract and pay I there was no one at the desk. When someone actually showed up it took her 45 minutes to find a working printer and print my contract. (She tried to get me to pay and retrieve the contract later but I refused). However, when I went in to pay and look over the contract I noticed the way it was set up was very deceiving. They combined the price of the pad with the installation cost because it was coming from the contractor's warehouse. There was no itemized breakdown so I went out onto the floor to double check the cost of the carpet with the pad and multiplied it with the square footage listed....It did not match! She had already corrected it once because she admitted the price of the carpet had changed between the time I paid for the estimate and when they went out....However, I realized when I calculated the price she had charged me for the PREMIUM PAD!!! Yeah, this was the worst experience I have ever had with Lowe's. My brother is a current employee (not in IN) and my dad was a Lowe's store manager for years and even opened up several new stores in OK.

The service was good. They could have cleaned up a little bit better but they did a good job overall.

It's always clean, they are fast and efficient.

I was very impressed with the guy who did the installation. He was very thorough and care about his reputation. He was personable and easy to work with.

I went to the window covering department because I wanted to know about blinds. There was a lady from the blinds department; she was not a person from Lowe’s because they usually don't know anything. She is the one who actually answered my questions. They are not that professional, but the person that I met was good and very helpful. She answered a lot of my questions. It was very knowledgeable for me. The price wasn't cheap, but it was comparable with that of the others.

One awkward happened. I did buy a tile, but I had somebody else do the installation. It was a different person every time I went there. I never got to talk to the same person twice. The staff was friendly.

I shop there probably every week. They are reasonably priced overall, but it varies a lot. It seems to be high sometimes. The only complaint I have is that they close down their aisles whenever they are getting ready to do anything. They do this so that we don't get hurt. Sometimes they close it down even if there is nobody working in there. I have waited as long as 20 minutes before and have ended up going somewhere else. This is my biggest complaint. It seems like when we don’t want any help we get plenty of it; and when we want help we just can't find any. This is true of a lot of places. It is a pretty good store, though.

I think they did a great job. They measured everything really well and they seemed to know what they were doing. They put in this type of counter all the time so they made sure they were level and everything. It took them about three days to tear out the previous stuff, haul it away, and put in the new counter. Their pricing is about the same as everyone else. They lady at Lowe’s coordinated when they would come and their punctuality was good. I would use them again.

The installers that put the cabinets in did a great job. After we had used them a few weeks, we noticed a lot of places that they tried to cover up with stain instead of pointing them out to us. I was not happy about that. We were happy with the Lowe's salesperson and the product itself. But we were not happy with the quality of the installers. It was not an issue with Lowe's, it was for the people they hire. I don't know I would ever go to them for installation, as I have had issues with other installers through Lowe's that put windows in our house at another time. We checked lot of other places and Lowe's prices were comparable.

The experience was great and the person who helped us was superb, she knew her stuff for tile. We were pleased with them. We've always had a good experience and I think they are competitive price wise.

The project started in June and finished in early August of 2009. It was opposite of the experience we had with the architect who did the design for our home remodel project. It was awful. When they came out to measure the windows, they mismeasured the windows. It was small by 30 inches when they delivered it and that delayed the project. They didn’t bring the right trim material in order to do the trim work. It was the wrong color. They wanted to go ahead and use the wrong color and I had to stop them from doing that. They finally got the right color. They brought that back and then they wanted to use the wrong color for caulking. It was a poor job. The windows were of good quality but the installation was awful. They did waive the installation charge after battling back and forth. So I got it resolved and all I had to pay was for the windows. They certainly need people who know how to read the tape measure. They just couldn’t take a proper reading. It was just a mess up. I would not use their services again for installation.

They did a wonderful job and we were very pleased with them. It was a reasonable cost. It was like a pleated shade that you can roll up and down and are called double sided and was very good.

IT WAS VERY SMOOTH. WE PURCHASED THE REFRIGERATOR WE PICKED OUT IN 15 MINS. WE SCHEDULED OUR DELIVERY AND THE DELIVERY GUYS WERE THERE WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD BE. I LOOKED AT A CONVECTION OVEN AND THE GENTLEMAN CALLED ME BACK AFTER I GOT HOME. IMPRESSIVE SINCE I WAS NOT LOOKING FOR A CALL BACK

Everything went really well. They went out of their way to make sure we were happy. They even did some things they were not supposed to do to make sure we were entirely satisfied. For example, when there was an inch gap between the top of the cabinet and the ceiling, the installer went into his personal stock to put in a decorative board to fill the gap and prevent dust from getting in. They were professional and did a great job. We looked everywhere for cabinets and although they were expensive, Lowes had the best price out of anyone. We were very happy and would use them again. Later found some scratches that the installers tried to cover up, I wasn't happy about this!
