Louis Enterprises (K&L Enterprises)

They do an excellent job. I spoke with three different companies about the job and K&L was the most thorough, explained everything they were going to do, and did exactly what they said they were going to do.

This was the final step toward our completing the remodeling of our master bathroom and we wanted to find someone who could match what we had already completed (flooring and shower) and do excellent work. We are more than satisfied with the work done by Louis Enterprises. Our contact was Jerry Ward. He was very attentive to what we were trying to accomplish and everything actually turned out BETTER than we had even planned. All the work was completed on time and Mr. Ward was very attentive to detail; he even followed up later to make sure we were still satisfied. His workmanship is INCREDIBLE!!! We would definitely use him again!

The end result was beautiful. I did have some difficulties. The job went over. He absolutely swore up and down it would be over in a certain amount of time and it went about 20% longer. I was with no explanation and no knowledge that it was going over, it just kept going and that annoyed me. His subcontractors varied with grew respect they shared my house, some of them who left a complete mess and some of them were very good about cleaning up. They all did good work, but some of them left a huge mess behind. When he showed up and he was here all time of the day I think and when he saw what a mess all the subcontractors left, he would clean it up. I had always found they were very annoyed by me. The quality of the work was excellent. He gave me a lot of ideas and they were beautiful. They were very good ideas and he did custom cabinets and they are gorgeous. He's been very good about following up. I've had him back for several things like the doors not closing right, I had problems with the sink and several other things. I call him and he pretty much comes back and fixes it. He seems to be good at his work. I would consider using him in the future.

They were very good and professional. They were on time and on budget. We liked everything about them. It was a finished bookshelf. If need be, then we would definitely use their services in the future too.

I was extremely pleased with the job that Jerry Ward and his crew did for me. When my house was built my kitchen tile was installed directly on plywood so tiles were popping up and cracking. They removed the floor and installed the correct subfloor prior to installing all new porcelain tile. My tile job is beautiful. This is my second job using Jerry - he replaced my kitchen countertops about 2 years ago. I would not hesitate to hire him again in the future. Great job - I love it!

The result is beautiful. The cabinets are well-built and everything looks gorgeous. Jerry showed up on time to every pre-construction meeting and made good suggestions. He has a very good eye for what will look good upon completion and he made appropriate suggestions. He works very hard and when the project began to run behind schedule (after he assured us multiple times it would not), Jerry came in and worked all day on Saturdays in an attempt to minimize the delay. However, his subs varied in the level of respect they showed our house and often left a mess. When the job was done, our kitchen and other areas were covered in dust. Jerry told us to have the house cleaned and send him the bill. This was upsetting because instead of enjoying our new kitchen, we spent the first weekend cleaning it ourselves in order to render it usable until the cleaning service could get here a week or so later. We called Jerry afterwards and he agreed to pay the bill. We sent him a copy of it and he has since failed to send us a check, despite 2 occasions when we followed up with a phone call. When we called him last week to tell him a light panel on the cabinets went out and needs to be repaired and to remind him a 3rd time of the cleaning fee he owes us, he did not answer his cell phone nor did he return our call. It has now been 5 days. This was a very disappointing end to our dealings with this talented contractor. Update 7/13/2010: We waited for the check for about 6 or 7 weeks, but we finally received it.

We haven't gotten the quote back yet and we haven't made a decision.

It all went very smoothly. Jerry Ward is very professional, and talented in home remodeling. His ideas were great and I agreed with them. The people he brought in to do various jobs (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc) were all very courteous and professional in attitude, hard workers, good clean-up (put down runners each day so was no floor mess from going in/out...& was rainy some days), taking up runners & cleaning up each day thus minimizing final cleanup at end. I was very, very pleased with everything! A very, very professional job.

Everything went as expected, minor inconveniences, took longer than promised, any problems were quickly resolved, overall great job, many compliments, got the wow factor that we were going for.

After finding a contractor in the yellow pages, we hired him and he gutted our bathroom. We didn't hear from him again...so we joined Angie's List. My husband found K & L Enterprises. Mr. Ward did everything he could do help us out of our "jam." He kept me posted each day to let me know where he stood on the overall job. He gave me some suggestions as to things that may work better. When I was having difficulty finding a piece of plumbing for the tub, he offered to find it for us. The employees were always careful to clean up after themselves each day that they left. We were so glad we found K & L Enterprises...a company that has a very strong work ethic and treats people right!

They really paid attention to every detail. The workers that he brought in to do the work were excellent. I have no complaints, they did a great job! Their prices were competitive.

I was satisfied with the price both times. He was very good at communicating with me and keeping me updated. He came in and laid big rugs down, cleaned up well, and was very careful. We are pleased with the results. I have a lot of confidence in him and plan to use him for projects in the future.

Overall our experience was great. As we went through the design phase Jerry took our ideas and thoughts and looked at the other structural items in the house and created something beautiful. The workers were on time, neat in appearance, and considerate of our belongs. They worked with us on moving electrical outlets, adding back lighting, and getting the job done in a timely manner. The final product is something that everyone involved can be proud of and I have the joy of looking at it every day.

Jerry is one of the best contractors that I have ever worked with. He made multiple trips to our home with product samples and provided great service and guidance during the selection process. Jerry was present and personally supervised every step of measuring, preparation, and installation for our project. He was extremely meticulous and made sure that every detail was attended to. His final clean up was perfect - except for the presence of the new countertops, we could hardly tell that a contractor was in our home when he was finished. His services will probably cost you more than the big-box stores, but it is more than worth the extra cost.
