Wonderful experience, Limpus Cabinets staff were very patient with us. It took us a while to decide exactly what we wanted. They designed a few different options for us for our bar and worked with us on cabinet style, color and countertop.They listened to what we wanted and helped us to find exactly what we were looking for.. The entire staff at Limpus Cabinets are wonderful. I would reccomend Limpus Cabinets and would hire them again.

After receiving numeous estimates, we chose to work with Dave and his crew. Dave was excellent at walking us through the process, choosing the materials that would work best for us, and suggesting finishing touches that would really add some pop to our kitchen. For example, he suggesting adding some crown molding of a different color from our cabinets and a new cabinet in place of the opening above our sink that served no purpose and looked like wasted space. After selecting the countertop, sink, and faucet, we scheduled a date to have the work done. Dave and his crew were able to compete the work in a single day. This included disconnecting our plumbing, removing our old countertops, sink, and cooktop stove, installing the new countertops with an undermount sink and a new faucet, installing a new cabinet and new crown molding, and installing a new gas cooktop stove we had purchased. They worked directly with a plumber to reconnect the faucet, disposal, dishwasher, and cooktop stove on the same day. We found Dave and his crew to be very professional and extremely good at what they do. They cleaned up well, leaving us with a kitchen better than we originally envisioned. We would recommend Limpus Cabinets for all of your kitchen and bathroom needs.

All went according to schedule. They left my new kitchen spic and span and hauled away all debris. Also see my comments above.

The process went very smoothly. We knew what we wanted to do and how much we wanted to spent. We approached Limpus based on recommendations, Showed them a dimensional layout of the kitchen, spent several days working with Limpus selecting cabinets, counter tops etc. Limpus came out to the house took measurments, offered some suggestions, designed a pantry to fit in limited space. with final aggreement on layout, cabinets etc Limpus ordered cabinets, counter tops, applliances etc. There was about a 6 week wait for the cabinets and countertops to be made. When delivery date from cabinet manufacturer was firm, Limpus scheduled installation date. Limpus recieved and preped cabinets, countertops etc and installed on scheduled date. the kitchen has been installed for over a year and no problems. Through out the process Limpus was always available and supportave.

The kitchen turned out really well. There were cabinets hanging from the ceiling that they took down and made the kitchen open to the dining/family room. They were very professional.

I went to their shop to look around at some of their sample kitchens and spoke with Josh to book the measuring appointment. When Josh and the owner, Dave, came out to do the measuring, they took their time & we talked through some of the possible layouts. They also looked at ways to take the cabinets that were coming out and install them in my laundry room. They knew they could match the design of my existing cabinets, but felt it would be best to do contrasting color on the new cabinets. Since the new ones were in an island and on another wall, this was a possibility. I decided I wanted all the wall cabinets to match, so they looked at two options1) a custom color match for the new wall cabinets and 2) new cabinets for the whole kitchen in a stock color. They felt I could get a whole new kitchen for less, so that is what I had them quote. Josh did an initial layout & then I went back to the shop and spent some time with him at the computer working through additional options and tweaking the design, picking crown moulding etc. This step is so important, it allows you to try new options and only takes a couple minutes per change. Much better to do it on the screen, than after you've ordered the cabinets! Once we were done, I had my quote and I knew exactly what my new kitchen would look like. Removal & installation cost was all included, unlike some companies. They also offered to get a countertop and sink quote for me, which they had in about 2 days. They have a number of different cabinet lines and were very conscious of getting me the best price based on the features and finishes I wanted. They were great to work with and being able to work the design at the computer and get instant results is priceless. In the end, since I was trying to match my existing cabinets, I had a cabinet maker construct custom pieces. If I was doing a full kitchen or bath, I definitley would have gone with Limpus. Of the three quotes I received for a whole new kitchen, Limpus had the best price and felt they would definitely be the best to work with.

We originally were going to use a general contractor for this project. The scope of the project was much larger than just kitchen cabinets. Our entire downstairs was redone, including taking out walls and putting in new doors. We ended up subcontracting out the project ourselves to help save money. The project went pretty smoothly. We also used other contractors we got off of Angies list to do hardwood flooring and tile work. Everything went according to our schedule. When it came time to install the cabinets, Limpus installed the entire kitchen in 1 day.

They were great, everyone we worked with Dave, Denny, Josh, Mike and Marshall were very patient with our process (which drug on for many months while we made decisions) and offered excellent advice on the layout of the kitchen. They have many years of experience which helped us avoid some potential mistakes on the design we originally presented to them. Their price was very competitive compared to the other quotes we received. There were no hidden costs or fees, what they quoted is exactly what we paid. They were extremely hard working and had our cabinets installed in one day. We are very pleased.

The Guys at Limpus are fantastic - they are like having good friends over to help you out with a project. We visited their show room on Washington Street and they showed us their entire shop including the area and the process they use to make the Laminate counter tops. Denny came out and measured and offered some great suggestions and their price for a custom top was lower than the Big Box stores quotes. Our counter tops make a big "C" and the old one's were made in 3 pieces with 2 seams that would come apart. The guys at Limpus were able to make it in one solid piece with only one seam in the laminate material which you can't even see. On install day they arrived early and had the old couter top out, the new one installed and ready for the plumber to reattach the plumbing within 2 hours. After they left we noticed a minor issue and they were back within an hour to fix the problem that took them just 15 minutes. The plumber they arranged arrived on time and was in and out within 60 minutes. These folks are great. We will use them again for sure next year when we renovate our office to install builtin cabinets and counter tops.

We chose Limpus because of these reasons: 1) Price - the price was competitive and, other than upgrades or changes we made, they came in on estimate. 2) Timing - the other estimates we had told us that the kitchen would be torn up for 4 to 6 weeks. Limpus promissed that the major work would be done in two days and one section of countertop would have to be measured after the cabinets were in which would add a week to the process. This is what actually happened and we were completely finished in this time period. 3) Coordination - most of our other estimates only controlled the cabinets and we would have to deal with other contractors for the countertops, sink, etc. Limpus coordinated everything, had all the material on hand at the start and made it very easy on us - just dealing with them. 4) Ownership - Dave is the owner and the person we dealt with throughout. We found him easy to work with and very talented in delivering what we asked for. We trusted him to deliver and he did. Also, he took our cabinets back to his warehouse and donated them to Habitat for Humanity, per our request, and we got the receipt for a tax deduction. Also, he sold our old countertops and gave us the money back. Overall, our experience with Dave and everyone else at Limpus was great and we would use them again for other projects - we love our country kitchen!

After selecting Limpus they reconfirmed their measurements, ordered the material, and reviewed their plans with me again. They kept me up to date on the receipt of the material, scheduled the actual work, and it took about one week to complete all of the work. They had to insure the counter top correctly fit the kitchen counter, which was no easy challenge (two walls to work with). They made a door and a front panel for the kitchen cabinet. Everything matched (stain and style ). I am still receiving compliments from vistors regarding the appearance of our kitchen.

Found Limpus through Angies's list and also several neighbors had Limpus install cabinets over the years. Went to store and explained wanted to replace cabinets/countertops which were original to house (40+ years old). Explained I was on a budget. Was shown a variety of cabinets (different makers) that ranged from hi - low in my budget range. Did not feel high pressured at all. Dave gave several suggests as to how I might be able to go with a better grade cabinet and still stay within my budget by different choices of handles/pulls. Very helpful. Decided not to go with a granite or solid counter surface, since they had several nice laminates that achieved the look I wanted but enabled me to buy a better grade cabinet. Was able to bring home a cabinet door and large sections of countertop color options to consider. Helped a great deal in matching paint/lighting/flooring. Appoinment for installation was made and had to be rearranged due to a conflict on my end. They were very flexible in doing this. On the day of installation a three man crew came out and by 2:30 had everything done. Observed them to take great care in making sure the doors hung level. Did an excellent job on installation. Very professional and took care not to make a mess while installing. Left everything clean and spotless. Would definetly recommend and use again.

Dave Limpus was honest and straightforward right from the beginning. He worked with us on the price, and once we had agreed on what he would do he didn't waste any time getting ready. The countertops, sinks, and plumbing were all installed in one day, and everything looked even better than it had looked in the showroom.

Eight days!!! The removal of old kitchen started on a Monday morning and the new kitchen was completed by Monday evening eight days later. In the process a couple of changes were made with no hassel. Two related problems were discovered that Andy O'Brien (O'Brien Remodeling L.L.C.) took care of.

When I had a change in my work schedule I stopped by the office the day before the work was scheduled to see if they could accomodate an earlier work date. They said they could be at my house within half an hour. The workman arrived, finished the job and was gone within 2 hours. Everything went exactly as we had discussed, and we are very pleased with the work.

I have a small kitchen in an older house.Limpus Cabinets very willing to work with the size of kitchen and budget. They made any changes I requested easily. The cabinets were delivered in the time frame promised and the work was completed in 1 day. The crew, including David Limpus were all professional and courteous and cleaned up after themselves. The cabinets are good quality and match the style of my house.

We spent about $9,000 on that work. I thought they were friendly, explained what they were going to do and worked with us as far as what we wanted from a design. They explained what was possible and fast. They also had a good product and provided good quality service. Their prices were competitive, compared to some of the other companies we got estimates from. We also recommended them to someone else.

This was a huge project and they did an excellent job.

It went well. The counter was made to our specifications. They asked us to give them approximately two weeks to make it and they kept that timeline. They were knowledgeable and easy to work with.

They negotiated through Tremain to get the granite countertops. It was fortuitous that I had gone through Limpus because they had to reset all of my cabinets to install the granite, and they reset them at no additional charge to me. Everything turned out beautifully, and they are a rare company that actually keeps their word. Our water pressure in the kitchen was off, and when I called them I told that if it was not due to the installation, I would be happy to pay for the service call. Although the water ended up being turned off because of our water softener, they did not charge me for the service call, which I greatly appreciated. I couldn?t be happier with them and would certainly use them again.

Excellent experience from start to finish! Josh Limpus was polite and responded promptly with follow-up phone calls. In the showroom, Josh's father, Dave Limpus, was very courteous and patient with my wife and I. Dave showed us a multitude of options for our kitchen countertops, including sinks and garbage disposal. He understood what we wanted, our budget and did not pressure us to purchase the much higher priced granite or quartz products. My family and I are very pleased with the workmanship and quality of Limpus Cabinet countertops (which are created in store's own workshop!). Also, the "Disposor' is very quiet. Thanks!

Their price was good, they were professional, and they tried to help me even when there wasn't much in it for them. They were very inventive with their ideas and the strategy that actually got the finish I wanted. I would recommend them highly and would use them again myself.
