Great service and professionalism. My driveway looks new and the price was reasonable. I will definitely use Don Sr again and highly recommend.

They have done excellent work for us in the past! People stop and ask who did the work because it looks so nice!

This company does a great job. They edged the driveway and then blew off all dirt and debris. They then filled in all the cracks, taking time to do so. They also sealcoated the driveway, including the addition of a sand mixture to provide additional traction on our really steep drive. They added additional sand to the steepest part of the driveway. They were quick and efficient, but did the job right, and they were very friendly. Only one complaint - we were told they would be at our house about 7 am, and they did not show up until early afternoon.

The initial date to perform the service had to be rescheduled because of rain. Their next date was when we were not at home. They agreed to just leave an invoice for payment. They did an excellent job in preparing the driveway and applying the sealer. All was clean and neat when we arrived back home.

I called Don Lewis Jr Sealing & Asphalt after seeing the crew at my neighbors house, and Lewis sealing came out. I called on Monday and was told they would come Wednesday between 9-10am. At 10:15 I called to see how much longer it was going to be. She said didn't have anything down for me and would call the guys. 5 minutes later they called an apologized for not having paperwork, took my address and said they would be there shortly. They didn't show up until 1:45 pm, I had waited all day for them. If they had said after 12, then I could have gone to the store. I got my estimate quickly and they asked if I wanted to do it today. I confirmed the price which was less than half what P****** had quoted me. The guy apologized again and said it was because of the deep cracks and that next time should only be $200. I explained that it was less than half of my other quotes and he said they try to be fair. They started right after we moved our cars and were done in less than an hour. The driveway looks great the sealant was nice and thick, not the watery kind. They told us that they would put us on the list for every 2 years. And that if there weren't any more huge cracks, which here shouldn't be,it haven't be done in over 5 years, it would be $200 to just seal.Don Lewis Jr & Lewis Sealing have merged. They were great other than not arriving until 1:45pm when I expected them by 11amWe will use again 2 years

I could not even get them out to get a price. They said they were going to come out and no ever shows. I even talked to the manager who was going to come out and now it has been over 3 weeks.

the original owner operator perfromed identical job two tears ago and deserved an A+ for everything.. i got a phone call from the company yesterday asking if i wanted the job done again for the same cash price as last time..i said yes..they said the company was now owned by the father of the man that did it last time but everything was still the same..we set the time for the next day..they would call 15-20 minutes or so before their arrival, and they did.. there were two employees and the new owner..they were very proment and organizied..my garage door was open and i had gone in there to get a drink from the frig just as they were finishing up..there were several 2 foot long blobs of sealant, as if they still needed smoothing out..I know the job that was done two years ago did not have that so i waited till it looked as if they were done and asked if they still needed to smooth them out..the gentleman that appeared to be running the job said no that those blobs would disappear as it dried..then the owner, [pot bellied bearded guy][actual description, no insult intended], chimed up [ with an attitude] and said, to the effect,'there were cracks to fill in, we put down extra to fill in the cracks, more than we should have, thats probably why my son went bancrupt, take it or leave it'.. then turned and walked off..not an exact quote but close enough.. this all happened about an hour ago so i have nt been out to see if the blobs disappeared..they did the whole job in a half hour..which does not surprise me, the first owner did an A+ job in just under an hour with one helper..the gentleman handeling the paper work on the job was very professional throughout...I gave a NA on quality only because i dont believe the blobs are there to fill the cracks and i dont know if it makes any difference anyway, and an F on professionalism only because of the owners unwarranted attitude..any one paying for services done in their home would be a fool not to ask questions if not atleast to see if workers knew anything about what they were doing..yes i would hire again, just leave the owner at home.......

I have used this company several years. They are prompt, courteous, show up when they say, they will stand behind their work and provided excellent quality and value.

The company did show up on time and did what the estimate said they would do. Crack filling was hit-or-miss; ie, some of the cracks were not filled by the stream laid down on the driveway. Proper signage and barrier to using the driveway after the job were adequate.

Very good, they rescheduled at my request without a problem. Showed up and got the job done quickly. Very professional, had been at it for many years. Don Sr. supervised the job and it looks great. Would recommend to any one. He was the lowest of three estimates but did a good job.

They were very kind and explain well what needed to be done, such as being clear how long before I could walk on driveway, drive on driveway, etc. It was a wee bit difficult to coordinate with them as to exact time that the could come by to do the work. I live out of town, so the exact time coordination was important. But, they showed up on the day they said they would and all went well. I do need to learn a bit more about what to expect from resealing. After just a few days, I could see the beginnings of old cracks again, etc. Maybe this is just normal.

Don Lewis, the owner, came out and gave us an estimate and explained what the service would cover and what it would not cover. The estimate was a firm price, except that he said that he offered a 10% discount for cash. We accepted the bid. He and his crew were able to come out to work on the job about a week later. They were done with our job and a neighbor's during one day's time. The work seemed to fulfill, within reason, what had been promised. However, when it came time to pay the bill, the 10% discount for cash was withdrawn. He said that the bid was appropriate for the work done without the discount. I think what happened was that he under-bid the job and was getting some of it back by withdrawing the discount. The amount paid probably still was a fair price, but the reneging on a promise (even though oral) did not seem appropriate to me.

The estimate was way too high. I just got the quote last week and I?m going to call him and tell him that I think it is too high. He came out while I wasn't home so I haven't talked to him. I called him and he never showed. They said they were going to come out and they never did.

I got multiple estimates and I liked this company. They weren?t expensive, they were in the same ballpark as the other estimates, but we got a quote that was a little bit better.

they did a good job, even coated and a few weeks later when we noticed some chipping at the edge they came right back to correct that problem w/ no hassle.

Driveway was not in good shape and had not been sealed in 10 years. They told us that it would get better with each seal. We will definitely be calling them next year. Great price especially when trying to avoid replacement costs.

IT went well. However I misunderstood what he meant by "cash" for a discount. Asked if a check was cash he said yes. But he did not mean it would qualify for the 10% discount for cash. I complained and he refunded half of what I would have saved if I had handed him dollar bills.

Came out when they said they would to give an estimate. Rates were very reasonable for size of driveway. Was very satisfied with the job they did and will use them again.

We spent about $150 on that work. We used him because we saw a driveway he did for a neighbor and thought he did a nice job. We used him, but did not think that he did as good on our driveway. It was an average experience and I don?t know if we would recommend him to others.

Everything great from start to finish.

I thought they were very nice. I called them because they were on Angie's List. They responded right away and were able to do it within a day or two, and all of that. They did it for the quoted price. The problem is that the sealer stinks and smells like asphalt. Even now, when there's a really hot day, there's still an odor. I'm not happy with the product itself.

We had some problems with some of the work they did and they said they would come back out, but they never did.

I'd rate them a C. The quality of material was OK. The quality of workmanship was poor.

Their stated price was the lowest I found. They showed up on time and completed the work the same day. I did not like the appearance of the driveway after they finished. Many small cracks were not filled and the surface was still pebbled rather than smooth. There were also many streaks in the sealcoating. I contacted the company thru their website and received an email saying they would respond shortly. that was 12 days ago and they have not yet replied. I might use them again because their price was so good but I don't like the results or the fact they have not resounded to my complaint. It probably depends on how the sealcoating lasts.

Wasted no time on putting down top coat,.the driveway looks great! Will use their services again.
