Lewis Sealing & Cleaning

Description of Work: This company is very shady. I called them to give me a quote on two driveways to get sealed. They say they came out on 7-15-15. There verbal quote was very high. Never found a written quote. They also said I called them last year for a quote which I did and once again it was a verbal Quote and it was high. I explained to them I had a quote form Another contractor they were willing to meet his price. They said they would email me the revised quote to meet the other contractors quote of 710.00 I never received it. They were to come out and preform the work on 7-17-15. They said I would have to have there emailed quote printed of and signed for them. I am not able to do that cause I never received it. I called today to cancel for two reasons I had a medical emergency in my family and I had no written quote from Lewis Sealing. They said if I didn't reschedule in two weeks the price was going to be the higher amount and they were going to charge me a cancellation fee of 25.00 or 50.00 which they say is on there quote but I don't have a written quote. I will not do business with any company who dose not give a written quote. I did call in personally to Angie's List and verbally reported this company also.

Description of Work: I have been most impressed by Mr. Lewis the owner. The job done by his company was A-1. The people he had working for him were most personable and polite and hard working. The price was I believe very reasonable. I will be calling Mr. Lewis again this spring for a return because my husband used a snow blower on the surface a few weeks ago when we had our first blizzard of the season. He scratched the whole top up. So I will be calling them again in the spring. Mr. Lewis also did the neighbors drive across the street from us. personally. For a lovely elderly pair of people who are not always so easy to please.

Description of Work: They sealed both of my driveways in 2007. They have done it in prior years as well. I have asked them to do it again in a couple of weeks.

Description of Work: Don left a flier for sealing my driveway, which I had planned to get done this spring. This is the 3rd time I have had the driveway sealed, and by far Don has done the nicest job. I have large cracks and trouble spots and he left my drive way looking great. I would highly recommend.
