LeafFilter Gutter Protection

The estimator came out and explained their product and how it would be installed. Didn't need to replace my old gutters, they cleaned and installed the new leaf filters. I also had about a 6 foot section of soffit replaced on the back of the house. Came and finished all within 3 1/4 hours

On 08/09/2023, I contacted LeafFilter Gutter Protection to install their gutter protection system at my house. I was assured by their salesperson their product would prevent clogs and water damage, providing me with peace of mind during heavy rainfall. He said "We have a money back guarantee and we've never had to cut a check." Let me be the first to tell you... that's because they refuse to cut a check. On the date of completion I discovered one of the downspouts connected to the LeafFilter system was severely clogged, resulting in water overflow and subsequent water damage to my basement. This incident not only caused significant financial loss but also resulted in considerable inconvenience and stress. It's clear, LeafFilter had failed to clean my downspouts, even though it was specifically stated in the work order. They are now refusing to give me my money back AND refusing to pay the entire bill to replace my drywall. They say the clog was underground but pictures don't lie.

Fine. The fixed an underlying problem with no extra charge

They were here an hour early and that was good for both of us they were finished before it really got hot. They called me and said they were here and ask if they could start the job and I said yes go to it . They went to work and were very Courteous to me when they finished the one that instead the filter came in and I called the credit card in and got him paid .

While this product may work well on some roofs; on steep, standing seam steel roofs they are worthless and cause damage. Out of the five companies I asked for estimates from, only LeafGuard promised that they would work. I was lied to, When I asked for my "warranty" protection from Douglas Davis, he said my warrant was void because I had worked on them myself. The third serviceman I showed the problem to, give me 12 to 20 pieces to fix it myself. Since I broke my arm in January, I haven't been able to see a surgeon since broken arms are considered elective surgery. The serviceman knew this, yet he wanted my to fix it myself. Since I had the parts, I had a friend try to replace the defective parts; which they then told me had voided the lifetime warranty. This is a very disreputable company with a bunch of smart Alecs running it.DO NOT believe their empty promises, at your own risk. Steven Pettinga Indianapolis.
