We were solisted by Paul A. thru the Nextdoor App and were told we would get the 1st application free and had a money back guarantee if not completely satisfied. About 1/2 thru the summer we had not noticed any improvement and asked them to cancel. About 3 weeks later while on vacation they came back and did another application against our wishes and when we called to ask why they came out we were told we had only suspeneded our service for 2 weeks which was a complete lie. We now had a $150 bill and were laughed at when we inquired about our money back guaranteed and we put in contact with Paul who said basically my wife was lying. He said if I could prove it he would honor it but he asked my wife to message him outside the Nextdoor app so there was no record as my wife had changed phones. We were just notified that they have taken my wife to collections so beware of this companies business practices or lack there of. It looks like their sales staff will do anything to make a sale which is a dangerous game in this day and age of online reviews. The few times we spoke to their office employees they were standoffish, rude and sarcastic. We were paid up except for the final application before we cancelled and were only asking for the final application price back and instead of keeping their word they came out again and charged us for another application. We are also filing a complaint with the BBB and looking at all other options to make sure they don't do this to another customer.
They increased my price; however, I feel it is still a good value.

He told me I would not need to water the seeds because there is plenty of moisture in the ground. The seeds are still laying on the dirt. I need to call them again. When I contacted them last fall about the problem of bare ground due to over furtilization, he claimed that was not the problem and that it would all fill in this Spring. Unfortunately, it did not.
Updated on 6-4-15 Susan McIntosh came to my yard, evaluated the situation, agrees it needs more help in addition to the grass seed that is growing and has offered to have Lawn Pride come back in September to aerate and seed. She did admit that the technician last summer made notes in their computer that my yard had spots where the grass was dying, but that no one had notified me of the damage. I appreciate her help in this matter and will be very grateful next summer when my yard is hopefully back to normal.

My yard look worse than it did using another lawn service weeds taking over called them 3x times still looked bad
"We keep detailed records for all our customers and this person was not a customer in 2014 as the review states. However we did service this person's lawn in 2013 without a single complaint on record. We track every customer phone call and even keep detailed notes for the reason for the call, whether it was a question about a bill or concern about their lawn. This particular customer never called with any concerns regarding the lawn. If there was a concern we would have gladly sent a service manager to her home to review the issue with her lawn and correct any mistakes. That is a part of our guaranteed service. This customer cancelled service in December of 2013, which is well after our last treatment for the season. It's unfortunate that we learned of the dissatisfaction a year after cancellation, otherwise we would have eagerly tried to find a solution. We learn from our mistakes and value interaction with our customers. When we are able to discuss customer concerns we often alleviate the problem all together. However, when our first indication of problems is a year after service was cancelled it's difficult, if not impossible to provide a solution."
