I called Lathrop to give us an estimate on how much it would cost to fix our roof where a satellite dish caused damage. I called on a Friday, they came to inspect it on Monday and fixed the roof on Wednesday. If it hadn't rained on Tuesday, it would have been done then. The workers finished the job and cleaned up the area. You wouldn't have know they were even there except for the hammering we heard. New shingles were put up in the effected area and you can't even tell the difference. I would highly recommend Lathrop Contracting to anyone!

Excellent. Jeff Lathrop personally worked with the insurance company to ensure that all damage would be covered, supervised the work, explained everything thoroughly, and responded personally to every question or concern. We felt that we were in excellent hands throughout the process.

Lathrop Construction recently completed hail damage repair to my home, including putting on a new roof and gutters, a broken window replaced, and multiple screens repaired. I am BEYOND THRILLED with the job they did. They were so professional and helpful with all the steps of the insurance process and recommended products that improved the look of my home more than I ever thought possible. Friends and neighbors have also commented on what a great job they did. If you choose Lathrop, I would recommend that you take some "before" photos of your project because you won't believe the incredible improvements they will make to your property value. The contractor did a great job. They were on time, the supervisor, Ian, was in contact with me and on site. The repairs were expertly finished. Clean up was complete. The shutters were properly installed and look great! I really appreciate the great effort by these guys!

The work was done quickly, and with high quality workmanship. The workers were friendly and polite, and did a good job cleaning up when they were finished. Overall we a very pleased with the results.

Excellent job!! I called Jeff to evaluate our roof for hail damage and he came the next day. He confirmed there was damage and guided me through the insurance claim process. He met the insurance adjuster at our house a few days later and worked with him on the claim. Within a few weeks we had a beautiful new roof and gutters. Anytime you have work done on your house it is very stressful. Jeff was very helpful throughout the whole process and made sure everything went smooth. He also made sure everything was done properly and in a timely manner, which is very rare these days. I would definitely recommend Lathrop Contracting!!

After interviewing several providers from Angie's List we decided to go with Lathrop Contracting. We felt the owner, Jeff Lathrop, quoted us prices that were good, and his understanding of the work we wanted done (he spent more time talking with us and giving us options) and his coordination of the different phases of the job was superior. He kept us well informed of the progress and was frequently on site. His crews were great and they went out of their way to accommodate our 3 dogs (without our even asking). They cleaned up daily and were polite and friendly. They not only stuck to their quote, they did some additional work we discovered later without charging us extra. We were so impressed that we plan to use him for several future projects.

Went very well! We had them do work on a second home renovation project. They do there work with pride (making sure all was done correctly, on time, and in budget) Actually we have just hired them to put a new roof on our own home as there work ethic and honesty was impressive!

Our roof was damaged along with everyone else's in the May hail storm. Our insurance company recommended a handful of contractors and Lathrop Contracting was one of them. Jeff gave an accurate assessment of the roof and met the insurance adjuster at our house on a Saturday evening. As it turned out, this was actually his wedding anniversary and he postponed dinner reservations to make sure he walked the roof with the adjuster. That pretty much says it all...Jeff has consistently provided great customer service. When we were picking out roof shingles and gutter colors, Jeff provided us with a variety of addresses to see what it actually looked like on a house versus the 2" x 2" tile. This was super helpful. Lathrop kept us updated as to when the work was going to start and they actually started when they said they were going to. His crew was great. They were on the roof early and had the new roof on and yard cleaned up by 3:00 pm. They were clean and made sure that the mess was completely cleaned up. We had areas on the roof that were susceptible to freezing and ice damming and Jeff made sure to install a special water proofing membrane. The crew that installed the gutters came out on a Saturday and did another great job. They actually finished the work in the pouring rain so they didn't have to bother us again the following week. The final project was painting the ceiling of our entire first floor (about 1,250 square feet). As expected, the crew was courteous, clean and did a fantastic job. Bottom line - from start to finish, Lathrop has done a great job. These guys are top of the line and we would use them again in a heartbeat!

We are so pleased with Lathrop Contracting's services! First, Jeff Lathrop came by to meet with me and discuss the work that was needed. Then, Ian (foreman) stopped by on three different occasions to take measurements and discuss multiple options with me. While we'd like to do a large-scale renovation in the future, we had some issues that needed to be addressed immediately. If the larger renovation takes place in the future, time, effort and materials spent on the smaller project would essentially be wasted. This was a concern for all. Jeff and Ian worked through these options with me, and we proceeded with a modified solution that solved the immediate needs. Ian and crew did beautiful work on our home! Almost immediately, neighbors stopped by and commented on the amazing transformation. I have already referred neighbors to Lathrop Contracting, and plan to hire them for additional projects in the future.

Jeff, the owner was very helpful, we had h*** damage to our roof and gutters and he helped with our insurance company and everything went very smoothly. Jeff helped choose a new color scheme, it updates our house with the new look. The crew was careful with my flowers beds and they cleaned up after. This turned out to be a great experience instead of a contract nightmare. THANKS JEFF AND CREW!!!

After the hail storm contractor signs appeared everywhere along with numerous phone calls of "being in my neighborhood and wanting to give me an estimate of roof replacement if there is damage". I chose one and after checking Angies List and the negative comments decided that company was not for me. At the same time a close neighbor had a "Lathrop Contracting" sign and said he was well pleased with the roof replacement he had received from them. I checked Angies List and noted their favorable comments as well as being on the Honor Roll and decided I would call them. When I contacted Jeff Lathrop for an inspection he came out immediately and scheduled the work within a very reasonable time. When the roofers arrived very early in the morning rain caused a postponement until the next day. Once again they arrived early and roofed both my house and a shed in the yard. Both roofs look great and their clean-up was very thorough. Jeff said the chimney needed added attention to be sure there would be no leaks and the men worked several hours to make sure this was taken care of. This was not in the contract but Jeff said he would check with the insurance company and if they didn't cover it he would. I can well understand their honor roll status and wouldn't hesitate for a minute to recommend them. It makes me glad to have Angies List for reference. .

Jeff was in contact with us constantly and answered all phone calls and emails promptly. Once we got the ok from the insurance company they were here within a week putting on our roof. The job was completed in just one day. The roof looks great! We were vert satisfied with the professional service we received from Lathrop Contracting. We would definatly recommend his company to friends and family.

They tore off all the shingles and replaced some of the decking and then put 3-D shingles on house and barn. They started at 6:15 am and finished all the roofing by 2 pm. They picked everything up and left no mess. A new ridge vent was also installed. Jeff made sure to explain every detail that would be done. He went up on the roof with the insurance adjuster to show the damage and what would be done. The gutters were installed in about 3 hours and they were done correctly and looked better than what we had for the previous 25 years. I have nothing but high praise for the job that Jeff Lathrop did. He was extremely professional about the products and the installation procedure. I highly recommend him.

All work was done professionally and as scheduled. We had no issues with the work or the workers. Everything went very smoothly. Jeff was knowledgeable, very approachable, answered calls or emails promptly, and checked the work in progress numerous times. We had a severe hailstorm and I assumed we had hail damage. I called to get an estimate because of a referral from a friend. He was knowledgeable and did a thorough inspection of my roof, guttering and surrounding area. I found him to be quite personable and felt confident with him from the start. He helped with the Insurance info and was here when we had the insurance company out to do their inspection. His men showed up on time and did a great job. They had the whole project done in 2 days and left my house clean as it was before they came. No nails, screws or debris anywhere. We have had roofs put on in the past and this experience was by far superior to those experiences. I would recommend him to anyone. My roof and the other repair work looks great!

Jeff and Jessica were very prompt in returning calls and emails. Jeff came out and inspected the property. No hail damage at this time. Although no work was performed, I appreciated their promptness and professionalism. I would recommend this company to others.

Jeff was very knowledgeable and professional in our meetings and provided us an estimate which was very thorough and reasonable. His workers were very knowledgeable and professional. The work was excellent and they use high quality materials. Clean-up was excellent. A big problem was found on the roof and porch area that was caused when the house was built, and was re-built quickly and looks great. They resolved all issues that came up, fixed a few problems for me that were not even part of the original contract and the result was better than I expected. The house looks great. I would use Jeff again and highly recommend his services to anyone.
