Landis & Landis Kitchen & Bath Remodeling

We obtained five quotations and after selecting Landis and Landis the finished results exceed our expectations. Nick is an Artisan of his craft as were the sub-contractors; Classic Stone and Greenwood Tile and Marble. We are pleased with their work and have made several referrals after completion.

He was the highest bid because of the materials that he was talking about that he's going to use and he wanted to do more than I really I want. He's very professional, punctual and he showed me samples.

I have used Landis and Landis before to remodel the master bath and replace a tub and tile in another. They are always on time, finish the job in the time they have allotted and are very polite and professional. If I had any more bathrooms to re-do I would use them again.

Gerald from the very beginning was extremely helpful, professional, and stress free to work with. Our quote came in when promised and he worked around our schedule for our meetings during the design phase. The quote was in line with several other contractors but after several had simply not followed through with promised dates, comfort level and trust was one of the deciding factors. Gerald's son Nick does all of the labor by himself which seemed a bit strange compared to other companies we met with but with results like ours I would not hesitate to use them in the future. They met their start and end date construction date and according to them they have not missed one in 9 years I believe. From the first day you could tell that he took incredible pride in his work and believed on doing things the right way the first time. We were out of town for two of the days of construction but I did not hesitate to trust him with access to the house while we were out. We could not be happier with the way our project turned out and after our initial contractor interviewing process I did not think that was ever going to be possible. Gerald and Nick are a what a true small business should look like.

From the beginning of the estimate and plan with Gerald Landis to the work done by Nick Landis, it couldn't have been better. The integrity of this father/son partnership, the genuine caring and the superb workmanship is something seldom experienced. Nick was meticulous, prompt and never left any kind of mess to clean up after. The timeline was accurate and any questions or changes were immediately addressed. I was completely satisfied with the entire process. They arrived on time and completed the project in the time allotted. The work area was kept neat and clean. The path between the door and bath were covered, protecting my flooring. I have used this company in the past and would use them again.

Gerald arrived on time, was very professional and provided some design feedback. He provided the estimate on time as promised. It was a hard decision for us to make, we had confidence if we would have selected Landis and Landis, the work would have been performed with high quality. Ultimately, we selected another highly rated bathroom remodeling company from Angie's List based on what we felt was a better design and cost breakdown. Specifically In reviewing the two separate cost estimates which were compiled in the Landis and Landis overall costs, the tile cost was significantly higher than multiple other bids. We will absolutely keep Landis and Landis' contact information and consider them for any other future work we have done. It was a positive experience engaging with their company.

They were wonderful. Everything went like clockwork. Pricing was divided into two parts and was reasonable. All they wanted to do was please their customers.

The company was very responsive and scheduled an in-home estimate promptly. The gentleman who came out to our home was honest and very helpful. He described in detail the work that would need to be done and why. It became apparent that the company was out of our price range early on in the estimate, however he still took the time to review the job and give general advice for hiring a remodeling company...even if it wasn't his.

Gerald Landis came out and discussed and provided recommendations for the remodeling project. I informed him we would like to spend less than $15,000 and he worked with us to reach that amount. He came out again to confirm some measurements etc. We worked together to select the cabinets, sinks, faucets, etc. Gerald's son Nick did all the remodeling work. He was always on time, cleaned up the site each day, and did a fantastic job. He is a real craftsman. The job was finished ahead of schedule. This company does excellent work and I would use them again!

Nick Landis was extremely professional in all the work he completed for us. His father had told us the work would be completed in four days, and Nick stayed overtime on the fourth day to make sure everything was completed to our satisfaction. His work ethic is fantastic! He would take approximately one hour each day to eat lunch out in his truck, and other than that he was ON THE JOB!!! I found it hard to believe that one man could accomplish, by himself, all that he was able to do, including getting a jetted tub up to the second floor of our house! Before he left (once everything was finished), he made sure that I understood how things worked, and left all the necessary paperwork for the products with us. When we need further work done, we will contact Landis and Landis again.

Started on arranged date and stayed on the job for entire time to finish work (2 weeks). One man crew (he was meticulous).

After meeting with three contractors, we decided on Landis & Landis for our bathroom renovation. Gerald was willing to work within our budget and was very patient with my questions and the time it took for us to decide on a contractor. The job took approximately three weeks to complete. I can't speak more highly of Nick, who performed all of the work on his own (except the tiling, which was done by Greenwood Marble & Tile). Nick is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and trustworthy. He had a key to our house during the renovation since we could not be present each day that the renovation took place. Nick was very conscientious about protecting our carpet and flooring, and he cleaned up before he left each day. Every renovation project presents challenges, and our project was no exception, especially given the age of our older home. Landis & Landis was able to work through the challenges of our renovation due to their experience and knowledge on bathroom remodels. And if they learned something new from our renovation project, it only makes them more able to provide exemplary service to their future customers. Landis & Landis exceeded our expectations, and Gerald and Nick were a pleasure to work with.

Although I did not choose Landis & Landis, I would not hesitate to hire them in the future. Their proposal was extremely competitive and Mr. Landis' follow-through on his proposal is to be commended. This is a fine company! I gave Landis & Landis and "A" rating based on their proposal (very fair and competitive pricing), responsiveness and professionalism in terms of coming to my home, developing a bid, thoroughness, and friendliness.

Although the job was not a type that they do, he directed me to his favorite home supply store, Menard's, which could provide us with the service we need. He graciously offered to answer any other questions I might have. I can see why they have excellent reviews on Angie's List.

After getting a quote from Mr Landis and told the day work would begin Nick showed up right on time and got right to work. Nick was very professional and cleaned work related debris daily and was very organized thru the entire job. Nick had us do a walk thru after the work was complete to make sure we were satisfied and it was a job very well done

Landis and Landis was very easy to work with. We spent a lot of time with the initial design, and scope of work. They provided excellent resources for helping our decisions on colors, toilet options, cabinet designs and granite countertop choices. Supplies were ordered and work schedules were kept as promised. Work quality was excellent. Some mis-communication between Landis and granite fabricator resulted in incorrect granite measurements but no compromise in quality. We would definitely use them again and we love our new bathroom.

Gerald and his son, Nick were great to work with and absolutely know their stuff. They acted as general contractor, taking a huge amount of the burden off me and they guaranteed that they would stick to the project plan, which they did down to the last day. And that included working with 8 other subcontractors during the entire process. Nick did most of the remodel himself and did a great job, including dealing with a plumbing change that we needed to make after he had already put in all the plumbing and was starting to put in the drywall. One other thing that Nick was really good at doing, which was a small but important detail. We moved several light fixtures and removed one completely; and Nick did a great job of matching the pattern in the textured ceiling so that even we can't tell where the fixtures used to be. Our bathroom is remarkable piece of craftsmanship. We would definitely use them again should we remodel another bathroom.

Gerald came out and gave us several options for remodeling our master bath. He was very patient and great with suggestions and visual aids. When it came time to do the work his son Nick was about as prompt and professional as you could ask for in a contractor.He removed our old shower and installed a new larger shower base and cement board walls ready for tile. Our old tub was removed and replaced with a nice Aquatic Air tub. We also had a new toilet, faucets, towel bars and exhaust Fans with lights installed. We love our new bathroom. The shower is no longer cramped and we have a relaxing tub to enjoy. We plan on hiring Landis and Landis again to update our master bath cabinets and mirrors. Thanks again for a job well done!

They did a terrific job! It's a father and son team that's been around for a while, and they are very trustworthy, honest, and reasonable. They worked hard and are not out to gouge anybody. The finished work is beautiful! There were a few times that I had to leave them alone in my home, but we trusted them enough to do that and there were no problems at all! We love our new bathroom, it really looks fantastic! If I could rate them higher than an "A", I would!

They did everything as promised. The workers were courteous and the price was fair. I am very satisfied with the work.

Excellent service, always arrived on time each day. Addressed all of my concerns throughout the project and resolved all issues that arose unexpectedly during the construction. When project was finished, cleaned every area of my home that was impacted during the work. I am delighted with the finished project. This is the second bathroom this company completed for me and their workmanship and service are excellent.

Early this week, (Nov 30) we phoned Gerald with a request to add a medicine cabinet in a full bath identical to the cabinet we have in our master bath. As we expected, Gerald was very accommodating and explained that he would get right back to us with a price for the cabinet with installation and a date when he could add this to his work schedule. Within 1-2 hours Gerald called us back with all information. We continue to be extremely pleased with our interactions with both Gerald and his son, Nick. We are repeat customers and would definitely recommend Landis and Landis to everyone.
