Excellent from design consult with Gerald to work done by nick - friendly, respectful, efficient. Quality of products used and workmanship outstanding! Nick made certain that he was installing everything exactly where I wanted. I love my new bathroom! Highly recommend Landis & Landis.

Gerald Landis arrived promptly as scheduled for the estimate. He reviewed all options and measured thoroughly. He was even able to come up with an option for a much-needed linen closet. The estimate arrived in very timely manner and was itemized down to last towel bar. His son Nick arrived as scheduled to complete the work. Nick is pleasant and a perfectionist. The wood floors in lower level and carpet in upper level were well-protected. The work is impeccable. The only glitch was that it required Nick to work through the final weekend to complete project. We would definitely use them again.

It was a two week job. It went on schedule and the finished job is beautiful. There was a minor glitch in that the tub plumbing was installed in reverse (hot is cold, cold is hot). They were very responsive and fixed that problem promptly. I was told the problem was caused by factory mislabeling of the valve cartridge.

Gerald Landis came in, reviewed everything, and gave a very detailed estimate for the job. He was professional and thorough and gave recommendations for where to get the fixtures for the bathrooms and gave us suggessions on the job. He recommended Greenwood marble and tile to do the tile work and coordinated the work with them to have everything done quickly and efficiently. Nick, his son, did all of the work. He would show up on time, work efficiently, clean up after himself, and completed the job when he was supposed to be done. They only work one job at a time so that they finish all of their jobs on time. I had redone my master bath the year before with a different contractor and they took 3 months to complete the job as they were normally not there. Nick came in and had his work done in 8 days. He took out a bulk head out of each bathroom, resealed the ceiling and textured it to match the textured ceiling already there. He took out the old vanities and installed new vanities (which we provided). He installed the vanity tops and sicks and faucets. He changed out all of the towel racks, toilet paper holders, and flush handles. He installed new bifold doors for my son's closet, he changed out the door casing on a door into a mud room. He installed new lighting in both bathrooms moving the wiring to where it was needed, and cut out the tile surrounding a tub installing new shower heads and handles. It was a pretty large job but Nick was able to do it all on his own and very quickly. We didn't have a lot of strange people in our house doing different jobs. We did hire painters and Greenwood marble and tile separately. He rehung the bathrooms mirrors as well. The bathrooms, closet, and mud room all look wonderful. I was very happy with the experience and will definitely use Nick for future jobs. He was also great around my son bringing him pop tabs for school as well. Very professional and a great craftsman.

In one word, OUTSTANDING! I couldn't be more pleased with the workmanship and project. I interviewed three other bathroom remodeling companies including the big box stores. Greg Landis was very helpful during the selection of materials and very responsive during the estimating process. Upon selecting Landis & Landis, I was placed on their schedule. Exactly as promised, the installer arrived promptly on the scheduled day. Work was completed in a very professional manner, on time, and within 1 day. All materials were removed and the cleanup was complete. I was very pleased with the customer service, responsiveness and professionalism.

Great work at a reasonable price. They started the job earlier than originally scheduled and worked with us on the design and gave tips on the DIY part as well. We made some changes along the way and they were very accommodating. The job was done on time in two days and was very well done. We hope to be able to us them in the future.

He quoted me about $22000. I think he knows what he’s doing and he’s knowledgeable. He was on time.

This is the second bathroom renovation that Landis & Landis has done for us. Like the first remodel, they were professional, timely, and provided a quality end result. We were told at the onset the date the project would start and when it would end, and they kept to their timeline and accomplished everything in their quote. I was comfortable providing Nick with a key to my house for days I was not able to be home while he worked. Anyone looking for a bathroom remodel would be hard-pressed to find a company to match Landis & Landis' professionalism, quality, and integrity.

Mr. Landis came in September to give me a quote and had samples for the vanity top and woodwork with him so I did not have go to othersupplier to fine what I wanted. He also sent an email for other materials for me to choose from. His son started the work the first of December and took down the half wall and removed the light, toilet and the flooring and walls that had gotten wet from the old toilet. He also removed the old vanity and the tile that was on the wall by it and by the mirror. I wanted to keep the mirror to be reused and he was able to do that. He then but up the drywall and made sure that you could not tell where the old wall and new wall were and put up the light and put in the vanity and replaced the old toilet. He alway kept the bathroom clean after each day of work. They had another person (Chris) come in and lay the title and he also did a great job. I'm very pleased with what they did and will use them again.

The job went pretty well. Nick and Chris were both on time and very professional. The work took approximately 2 weeks and during that time it was a pleasure to have Nick and Chis in our home. There were some setbacks during the work like termites and a broken new toilet, but the problems were all quickly handled. When drywall damage due to the construction was discovered after the job was completed. The owner Gerald came over the next business day and personally repaired the problem.

We couldn't be more satisfied with Landis and Landis. Gerald Landis was very responsive when we scheduled our initial estimate/planning meeting. He was very attentive to our needs/desires and made several excellent suggestions that were incorporated into the planning. He provided a detailed design plan and estimate within a few days which we promptly accepted and he provided a scheduled starting date of December 1. He was also very responsive when we subsequently requested that the toilet in a second bathroom also be replaced. The work started promptly on Dec 1 with Nick doing the construction work followed by Chris doing the tiling. Both did extremely professional work, went to great lengths to minimize disruption. The cleanup at the end of each day was exceptional. The work was finished right on schedule on Dec 10 (with the shower door installed the next week as promised). We couldn't be more pleased with the result. No surprises--the project was complete as promised, in the time frame promised, and at the estimated cost. I would highly recommend Landis & Landis

Nick did the work to restructure and prepare our master bath for the tile company. We wish that more of the contractors would be a professional, neat and punctual. Landis and Landis were on site each day, were extremely neat and cleaned up each day before they left. What more can one ask for in that Landis and Landis, started on time, completed two days ahead of schedule, were neat, professional and did an exceptional job and completed exactly what they were contacted to do. If you have a bathroom remodel - I would recommend you consider Landis and Landis

The job took two days. Chris the installer was prompt, friendly, and very knowledgeable. He also discovered another plumbing problem that we were unaware existed.

Mr. Landis was a pleasure to do business with. After some of the other experiences I've had with home improvement companies he was a breath of fresh air. He called me before our appt. to get an idea of what I needed done, after speaking with me he provided a quote of $150.00, this was to include recaulking my bathtub and repairing some water damaged dry wall. On the day of the appt. Mr. Landis showed up on time and went right to work. He was very thorough and did NOT cut any corners. He went above and beyond and even ended up doing extra work by also caulking my shower liner. He was very courteous and did not charge extra for the shower liner. He really has a finesse with the caulking gun, you can hardly seen any seams around the tub. His work exceeded my expectations and I look forward to working with him in the future on other bathroom side projects such as repairing my damaged subflooring.

They were great. Arrived on time and had the project done when they said they would. Great communication and the new tub/shower look great. I will use them for any futures projects.

They removed all the old tile, drywall behind the tile all the way down to the studs. Rebuilt the drain, which had been done improperly the last time and was the cause of a leak which prompted this rebuild. Nick Landis did the work and was fantastic. Prompt, did excellent work and we are very pleased with both the outcome of the shower and the look of the completed shower and doors. Highly recommend these folks. Excellent work at a fair price. Very good with the quote process, following through with providing the quote with pictures of materials to be used and answering any questions we had. They called when it got close to time for the installation to remind us of the installation and again the next morning prior to arriving. They used ground cloths to protect our carpeting and stairway and were very careful about removing debris and materials so as to not damage the rest of the house. We are selling our house and needed to do this rebuild in order to make the sale. It looks great and we have had nice comments from prospective buyers on the shower.

I think they do quality work at a reasonable price. They come when they say they are going to come, they start the project when they say they will, and they always finish the project in the time frame they promise.

He did very well. He was right on schedule and knew exactly how much work he would get done on a given day. He was very methodical and definitely knew his business.

I had asked Landis and Landis to come out for a quote to frame a wall and install French doors on my living room space. After meeting with Mr. Landis for 45 minutes. He told me he wouldn't be able to begin the job until end of April. I get a call 3/6/14 from Mr. Landis that in the last 24 hours, the company accepted 4 big jobs and wouldn't be able to accept new work until August. VERY unprofessional to not complete the quote as promised because he didn't want to take the time to work it up.

Gerald Landis provided the quote and schedule for our bathroom remodel. Nick Landis arrived on time as scheduled and started our bathroom remodel during our first polar vortex. The weather did not slow him down. Nick went above and beyond the call of duty and helped with things he had knowledge of that helped us and had nothing to do with his work. He took a bathroom that was in need of a complete remodel and turned it into a work of art. My wife and I are so happy that we found Landis and Landis on Angie's list. I now fully understand why this contractor is in such high demand and has jobs scheduled in advance. We are planning our next bathroom remodel and will definitely contact Gerald and Nick.

We had to wait a couple of months after I signed the contract with Mr. Landis. He was so helpful in the selection of the materials. He knew just what we wanted and pointed us in the right direction in our decision making. I did not get another estimate because I wanted the best materials and the best workman. I thought I might be crazy to have this project done in winter, but in spite of repeated Alberta Clippers and sub zero temperatures, the work went on. Nick is a ball of energy intent on his work. A person could not expect more from this master craftsman. We could not be more pleased with the results. I think the bathroom is perfect. The bathroom was finished on time in spite of the horrible weather. My sincere thanks to Landis and Landis.

First let me say I can't give a rating on the price, for I didn't shop around for other estimates, but it was in the range I expected. In every other category this company deserves an "A" rating. The job covered three days. Gerald Landis, the father, came on the first day, and began on the vanity. I requested the existing sink, not very old, be saved for me to reuse in another bathroom, and he was able to secure it for me undamaged. After removing the old vanity top, he installed the new one-piece basin/top, did the plumbing, and prepped the area for painting. He had mentioned the possible removal of the toilet in order to provide room for the shower installation, but decided it wasn't necessary, which was to our benefit. On the second day, Nick Landis, the son, arrived early with a trailer for hauling the trash away, and set up a workstation in the driveway for sawing and soldering. He put carpet runners through the house, brought in tools, and began work. The old tub had to be broken up for removal, the flooring prepared, walls prepared, and a lot of detailed measurements done. I was really impressed at the precision of the work; even the setup to prepare for the wall paneling looked extremely orderly. I think at the end of the second day part of the paneling was installed. By evening, the runners were rolled up out of our way for the night, and the trash was hauled away. The third day saw the paneling finished, the plumbing completed, seat and niches installed, and lastly the two shower doors put in place. This was all custom work, nothing was prefabricated. The Landis team is amazing. They work at an incredible pace, don't take breaks, and don't make mistakes. I've never seen any craftsmen who work as fast as they do and with such quality. Excellent! Top notch. The plumber we initially called to fix the shower faucet installed a new part that we purchased. When the problem was not resolved, he suggested that we call the company who remodeled our bathroom. Gerald Landis went the extra mile to solve the problem and my shower was fixed the same day I called him. Can't get any better service than that! Landis and Landis did a complete master bath remodel and guest bath remodel for us about three years ago. (My oversight not to have written an Angie's list review at that time.) The price was very fair for the quality work that was done. Every aspect of the job was completed professionally; really nice people, too! The creative solutions they suggested to the problems we posed were very much appreciated. Three years later we are still VERY happy with the work they did to create a beautiful master bathroom & guest bath for us. I give them my highest recommendation. A+

It is a father and son operation. The father does all the measuring and speaks with you about your different options. He recommended we go to Greenwood Tile. The son did all of the work. We liked that we saw the same person everyday instead of having a crew of different people in our home. The project was done in two stages and in total it took about three weeks to complete.
