Landis & Landis Kitchen & Bath Remodeling

Overall it went very well. Gerald Landis came to the house and measured for the top in September. I picked out the color sample and made the appointment for the work to be done in October. This company had remodelled a smaller bath last year. Swanstone is pretty pricey, but love the product overall. They did their usual excellent work.

Overall, did an excellent quality job. They started and ended their work on time as predicted. Price was consistent with other quotes; however, one could likely beat the price substantially if willing to act as own general contractor for a similar job.

I have used Landis before for a bathroom remodel. As last time Gerald was patient and tried hard to get the vanity top to match the previous bathroom they did, being a small size and special order. The work was started and completed on time and as usual NIck Landis was professional, friendly and very thorough and hard working. The bathroom looks great and I would not hesitate to hire them again.

Mr. Landis was very professional and punctual. He is easy to talk to and explains things well. In the end we decided his estimate was higher than we were able to afford and went with a contractor with a lower estimate but less experience in bathrooms. This led to a much longer timeline than we would have liked. But that was the trade-off.

A few words is all it takes. Absolutely perfect, on time, very clean, easy to work with.

Very professional. Showed up to work on time and finished according to schedule. The quality of the work was first rate. One minor problem with a leak at the corner of the new shower door (you just know there will always be one) was quickly fixed. Very nice people to work with and very patient as we worked through the whole estimate/specification process.

Mr. Landis was very professional and organized. I would have confidence in him doing the work. He would have also recommended somebody to do tile work as well.

We didn't go with them based on the price. We found someone else that was able to do the work for a more inexpensive amount.

I liked everything about their service. The workers were great and everything was good. Their professionalism and punctuality was excellent too. They gutted both bathrooms and re-did them.

They did fine. But now I'm having another company install a furnace and he is finding all kinds of trash behind the drywall they put up. A toilet flange, an empty tube of caulk, all kinds of drywall scraps and trash. I don't understand why they put so much behind the wall, when there was a dumpster on site. VERY disappointed in Landis and Landis, who advertise 'satisfaction gauranteed.' I had no idea they did this. A toilet ring?!?! Seriously? VERY DISAPPOINTED. Will not use again, ever. Sloppy.

Excellent!!!! Gerald Landis came for estimate, he was very pleasant, professional and efficient. Was timely with written estimate and GUARANTEED THAT ONCE THEY START A JOB THEY DO NOT LEAVE UNTIL IT IS FINISH. Costs were very reasonable and time estimate for start and completion date was fine for me. Once I agreed with terms and costs, he offered options for places to pick out flooring. My date was set for bath remodel. On Start date, Nick Landis called before he arrive to confirm time. Once here, we reviewed everything on the contract and agreed on everything. He was very efficient, professional and meticulous with details. Normal work hours 8-9 am to 5-6 pm, no weekends. He covered floor on the walkway to bath, he brought in tool boxes so he wouldn't have to go outside constantly and he cleaned bathroom every evening before he left. Everything was really great!!!! I am very pleased, especially since it was completed from start to finish just like Gerald said from start to finish in 4 days.

The estimate process was better than all the others. Gerald came out when he said he would, always returned my phone calls in a timely manner and gave the best price af all estimates. The work was terrific- came right on time, worked efficiently and left us with a the finishing touches on two beautiful bathrooms!

On time, high quality work, on budget. Said it would take five days, took 5 days.

I was pleased with the design and materials proposed by Mr. Landis and would contact him in the future if I decide to complete the project.

They were prompt and gave a good estimate, they were very nice people, but I decided to go with another company.

Nick is the professional everyone wants to have do this type of work. They cleaned up the house before leaving each day. The cosr was more than I expected but the materials and workmanship is worth the cost. We had one call back the first time and they handled the problem the same day.

Gerald Landis came and gave quote. He was was very pleasant and patient , showing good quality products ( Swanstone, Kraftmaid ) with good ideas.( We also had two other companies from Angies List - Just bathrooms and Indy Renovations - who came out but never followed through.) The work was performed by his son, Nick - who was also very patient, professional and hard working. We are really pleased with our new bathroom - looks great and would totally recommend them! Nick also put up shelves from the old bathroom into our master bath free of charge.

He explained everything very well. He offered a variety of options. He was very professional and knowledgeable. We did not go with the remodel, but he was very informative. With the estimate he gave a variety of options and a range of prices.

These guys are awesome. I knew the estimate could be higher than originally provided as Gerald was going to have to check on two parts. Net, he called and said no charge for the parts as the supplier no longer manufactured what we had but would replace the previous at no charge. Gerald could have charged me for the parts and I would not have known any different(parts had a retail of over $130). When they arrived, tarps were spread to protect not only the bathroom, they were working in but also the path from the door to the bathroom. As they were working they got into more than originally thought but the price did not change. I cannot say enough good things about these guys. Will definitely use again.

Our house was built in 1970. We have tile flooring in the bathroom. The subfloor got wet and tile came up. We wanted estimates on fixing the floor and replacing the tile. The estimate we received was for $482 just to do the floor, the tile work would be subcontracted out. When the house was built they put particle board down. The grout cracked and allowed water down to the subflooring. The floor when it popped up was still wet and had mold on it. This company was going to put new floor OVER the moldy flooring instead of replacing it. The tile company called very soon after the contractor left with an estimate of $461 and asked when we would be coming to pick out the tile. We just weren't very comfortable with the whole set up. He was very quick to call back with his estimate for the flooring.

Perfect! I gave Gerald a picture from a magazine of what we wanted the bathroom to look like and he worked with us to get an exact duplicate of the picture. Although we had to wait several months to get the work done, because they were so busy with other jobs, we are so glad we waited. We were kept informed of of what our responsibilities were (like picking out the granite and paint color, we did the painting) to the exact time work would start and be finished. While the work was going on, I never worried about things because they (Nick and assistant Rodney) communicated so well and were so careful. The contract was very clear about what the company did and did not do and the cost came in at exactly what was expected. I cannot say enough about how pleasant an experience this was. This company takes pride in their work and I will probably never use anyone else for bathroom work!

Gerald Landis had many good ideas and was a pleasure to work with on the design and the selection of materials. He accompanied us to several showrooms so we could see the many options and was very flexible when we made changes to our original selections. He scheduled the work 6 months out at our request and Nick & Nate Landis showed up at the agreed-to date and time. They were there all day, every day, until the job was completed (on schedule), and kept us informed of the progress as they went along. Nick & Nate were personable, professional, and they really like cookies. They kept the stairs, hallways, and bedroom covered with drop cloths during the day and cleaned up before leaving each evening. We are very pleased with the results and would recommend Landis & Landis to anyone considering a bathroom remodel.

They did an amazing job. They were on time, they showed up the exact day they said they would start. They were very thorough and answered all questions we had about the job. The job was completed within 2 weeks.

They were very good and on time. They cleaned up very well and we would have never known that they were there. They also were very accurate with their estimate that they had given us. We will probably use them again for another bathroom remodel in the near future.
