KOPETSKY HAULING

I was driving on 65 south leaving downtown. I got behind a Kopetsky truck and several large rocks started bouncing out of the back. one of which struck my windshield causing a large crack. The truck did not have the cover tarp pulled over the load to help keep the product in the truck. To me that means that the company did not tke the proper steps to protect motorists on the road. When I called the company right after it happened the gentleman on the phone laughed at me and asked if I was stupid. They did not care. The gentleman also said that they did not have any trucks currently on the highway. So I read him the Dot number of the truck. Then he replied oh I guess we do have one. the only solution that he had was to follow the driver and he would have him stop. I followed for 15 minutes then called back. Big surprise, no answer. I feel that the company is responsible for the damages since they did not take the necessary precautionary steps to prevent the debris from flying out the back. They obviously disagree.

I WAS VERY HAPPY OVERALL. I GOT A LITTLE MORE SAND THAN I NEEDED, BUT THAT'S MY FAULT FOR ORDERING TOO MUCH. THEY WERE VERY HELPFUL, AND MUCH LESS EXPENSIVE THAN BUYING BAGS FROM A HOME IMPROVEMENT STORE!
