There response to repairing the steps were to add liquid nail. When we said we didn't want that, they refused to do anything else. Our steps were fine until Norm's Movers came in and now our steps are messed up and our banister is loose. I would not use the moving company or this restoration company because they are looking for the easiest, cheapest way to do work and you don't want that done to your house. You want something that is going to be done right and last a long time. Not something that is a quick fix and is going to be falling apart in a month or so.

An Inspection was performed on a client's home recently for the purpose of selling it. Upon Inspection it was discovered that the bathroom vents were venting in the attic. In 2014 Klean Restoration talked my elderly client into installing an powered ventilator in the attic in lieu of venting the bathroom vents to the soffits. When it was discovered that the ventilator was not serving the purpose it was suppose to, I called Klean Restoration. It took 5 phone calls to talk to the owner as I was told by his assistant Casey that the owner doesn't take calls from customers. When asked about the purpose of installing the powered ventilator, the owner and his assistant, Casey, could not explain why such a system would be installed in the attic. The owner's assistant stated that the employee that use to install this ventilator system was no longer with the company, therefore they were unable answer any questions. When asked if someone could schedule an appointment to visit the home, she refused to schedule it and said that they were too busy. It appeared that Klean Restoration did not want to take responsibility for selling an elderly couple an ineffective piece of equipment. The owner and his assistant were very rude. I would never recommend them.

They tore up the garage doors when they first put them in and didn't do a thorough job. They took a long time to come back. They are good for small jobs but not for big projects.

Scraped prep and chalk all wood on exterior of house. Replaced wood trim on garage both sides had been weather beaten over the years. Repair loose shingles on the back slope of my home. All around great job, home is beautiful again.

First of all, the company is really concerned with the satisfaction of the customer. And they're prompt. They meet the deadline. They said it would be a two day job and it was. They allowed me a third day because the old paint I had; I had purchased new paint and it didn't match. They allowed me an extra day to get the paint to match and didn't charge me extra for the extra day. They're a great company.

It was very good. They were very professional and very prompt. Everything they said they were gonna do was written out and they finished on time. They were also accurate.

I probably would not hire them again. They had a one guy crew most days and he was on the phone a lot with his ex-wife. They came in everyday so I had to work from home while they' were working. They were nice guys and I really liked them but they just had to take very long. They tore up the kitchen and we didn't have a kitchen for a few months so we washed dishes in the bath tub and we had our pantry in the garage. We were living that way for a few months and it was pretty tough. When I talked to some other people about how their service was with other companies, it wasn't even close. They charged me $10,000.00 for the dry out which was really expensive. It was itemized in the bill and the insurance company questioned that but they paid it and it was for a broken pipe, the water line coming from the refrigerator. They took forever and they kept ordering the wrong cabinets and wanted me to pay for the ones they ordered incorrectly. It was just a mess. I don't need their services right now but if I did, I 'd probably call a different company. We had a bar counter behind the kitchen sink, for a bar stools, and it was a half-wall. Then there was this sub-contractor who was hired to finish the kitchen and the half-bath, who was supposedly a carpenter by trade, after he installed the bar countertop there was a two-inch heigth sloping difference between the wall and where the countertop ended and you could put a ball on it and watch it roll. When I questioned it, he said, "Oh, that's not acceptable?" And I replied, "No". We bought a new countertop and the "carpenter" screwed the mounting screws right through the counter top. He was mad because we asked him use his insurance to replace it. He said that he was insured and he actually showed up on the day that we got the replacement countertop and he grabbed the "screwed through" countertop and said, "This is mine! I paid for it!" He was just being really difficult and I said, "Well, you're welcome to it. It's not like I was going to use it for anything." They just did the best they could and I think it was just above their capability. I think they tried and that was the sad part. After we paid everything, we got a bill 2 years later saying we still owed money. I talked to the owner about that and he was kind enough to correct the billing issue. I'm just glad to have that part of my life over with. My wife and I did a lot of re-work and repainted a lot of it ourselves after the work was "complete".

It went well. They have done a lot of work for me. The price was reasonable. He is good and he is negotiable on his prices. He wants to please me. His workers are good.

The work was great and they do wonderful work. I have used them several times before and they have always done good work. They are trustworthy and I don't have to go back and check their work. They are honest and do a great job at a fair price.

During the work, they located more damages and had to wait for the insurance company top respond. Louie is a really friendly guy and really wants to work with you. What they have done so far has been great! I would recommend them to others.

They worked out just fine. They kept in contact with us and we always were in the loop with what was going on.

I would hire them again.

Klean Restoration was recommended to us by our insurance person. I spoke with the owner, showed him the situation, he explained what they would do (as in the description of services performed), and I gave him the go-ahead. It was understood that I would seal up the holes in the attic to keep the bats out. The work was completed on November 4th of 2011, I wrote him a check and he gave me a simple handwritten paid receipt. Approximately a week later the new owners asked for documentation for their records, mostly so that if they resold the house they could show the buyers that the attic had been cleaned. I looked for the receipt I had been given and couldn't find it. The owners called Klean Restoration several times to get a copy of the receipt and they were given several answers from and quot;yes, we'll get that right out to youand quot; (they never did) to and quot;we don't have anything in our records that shows we did any work thereand quot;. Over the next few months the new owners and I tried to get any kind of documentation we could from the company and were given nothing but excuses. Several months later bats were discovered in the attic again. Since it was my responsibility to keep the bats out, I hired another company to keep the bats out (since Klean Restoration was so reluctant to provide documentation) and to do another remediation. The new company did the work (following the details on the estimate they gave me) and mentioned that not only was the original insulation underneath the insulation that Klean Restoration had installed, but it was still covered with bat guano and debris from previous roofing jobs. It had never even had the top layer vacuumed off. The owners and I contacted Klean Restoration again, explained the situation, and got the same excuses again. The owner of Klean Restoration told me he remembered the job but refused to give me any documentation. He also refused to do anything to fix the situation until I left him a message saying that I had pictures showing the soiled original insulation under the insulation they installed. He told me he would send a crew out to redo the job, but he would not put anything in writing because his lawyer told him not to. The crew arrived one morning and the project manager looked over the situation and listened to the history from me and one of the new owners. He spent quite a bit of time on the phone with and quot;the officeand quot; and proposed a solution. He said they would remove all the new and old insulation, re-disinfect and re-prime the attic, but would not re-insulate it. He even said he would give us documentation for the work. I talked it over with the new owners and we decided this was probably as good as we would get from Klean, and we gave them the go-ahead. Part way through the job I got a call from someone at Klean Restoration's office saying that they needed me to sign an authorization for work order, and they would send it out with the project manager. I thought this was odd since the job was well under way by then. I said that was fine and in fact welcomed any kind of documentation. When the project manager came back to the job he mentioned the signature but said that he would pick up the papers on his next trip to the office. I spoke to the project manager several times throughout the day. He seemed sincere and eager to do a thorough job. He had me inspect the cleanup part of the job, it looked good, and they continued with the priming. When they finished the work, they had the new owner and I inspect the work. Again, everything looked fine. The project manager told me he'd give me a call the next day to take care of the paperwork, and he said he would even buy me lunch. I hadn't heard from him by 1:00 the next afternoon and gave him a call. He said I'd have to call and quot;the officeand quot; to find out how they wanted to handle it. I called the office and was told after some dancing around the subject by the accountant that they couldn't give me any paperwork because they didn't do a complete remediation, that they had just and quot;taken out some old insulationand quot;. I told him that the project manager had promised me documentation, and he replied that there was no money involved, so they couldn't give me a receipt. I told him I didn't necessarily need a receipt, just something to say what was done. The conversation went back and forth for some time, and it became obvious they were just evading the issue. I called the project manager again and he said well, and quot;that guy (the accountant) is my boss and I can't do anything contrary to his orders.and quot; It was our mistake to not insist on detailed documentation all the way from start to finish. We will NEVER do business again with a company that refuses to provide documentation, and we certainly won't do business agin with Klean Restoration.

They were done in 2 days. Better than I expected. Their prices were very reasonable and more than competitive.
