Mark is a wonderful person and I have been using them for years. They are very knowledgeable, professional and have reasonable rates. I would highly recommend them to others.

Called King of Comfort because AC wasn't working. Evidently some part was just dirty. They cleaned it and charged us nothing. They won my loyalty. Used them again for scheduled maintenance, they gave me a nice discount on my rental properties too!

Prior to installing my new system, Mark serviced my old Trane heating/cooling system that was installed when I built my house 19 years ago. . Mark is vey professional, has great product knowledge and attention to detail, excellent customer service and very competitive prices. Strongly recommend.

After receiving an initial quote from another company a neighbor suggested I at least call Kings of Comfort for a second estimate. My initial thought was to just take the initial repair estimate and just move on. Boy am I glad I did not do that. Not only did Mark come out the same day I called, but he was knowledgeable, polite and an overall pleasure to have in my house. He performed a diagnostic evaluation and came up with the same issue that was diagnosed previously. The following moring he provided me an estimate that was significantly less and if I wanted to go forward with it he could install it that evening. Wow, he was less expensive, more prompt and more knowledgeable than my previous quote and I couldn't of been happier. I am very hesitant to hand out reccommendations because honestly I am very rarely impressed, but I can not stress how I was WOWED by Mark and the Kings of Comfort.

Kind of Comfort (Mark) subcontracted the actual work, but was involved in all the customer care. We asked that a different supply duct be installed because we were worried about ceiling clearance, and he changed it per our request. He was very professional and cared about his quality of work as well as our satisfaction. It was a good experience.

I have used King of Comfort for about 7 years or so. Mark has come to do repairs and inspections for me on several occasions. I have also referred him to a few friends, who really liked his service as well. He is always very polite and professional. He never tires to sell something that he does not need to be fixed. We are moving soon and staying in the area. He will be my HVAC man for many years to come. Thanks Mark!

This report covers two separate jobs completed by King of Comfort. We recently purchased a new home and are in the process of transitioning from one to another. We needed to have our AC checked out at the new home and King of Comfort had a special running for $49.99. Coincidentally, the blower quit working at our existing home on the same date that I called to make the appointment for the AC tune and check. I called in to the King of Comfort office to make my appointment and the call rolled over to Mark (the owner), who was on a job. He explained that his receptionist had stepped out and assured me that she would return my call to schedule the appointment. I liked the fact that the phone line rolled over to a live person instead of being sent to voicemail. While I had Mark on the line, I explained what was going on at our existing home. He correctly diagnosed it as a blower issue over the phone and even walked me through the steps on how to check it and possibly fix it myself. He said that if the things he suggested did not work, I should probably replace the motor. Unfortunately, he also said that he was pretty booked up (it was right around a time when we were experiencing a mini heat wave) and it might take several days to get to me. While I waited for the return call from Mark's receptionist, I checked out the blower myself (per his instructions) and confirmed that the blower was failing. I hit Angie's list and called around to other heating and cooling companies to get prices to replace the blower and check availability to install it. As Mark had stated, the heat wave had increased everyone's workload and appointments were hard to come by. It was beginning to look like we might have to go through a week of 90 degree heat with no AC. Mark's receptionist Brenda called back within the hour and we scheduled the appointment for our new house. I also asked if Mark would be available to do do the blower replacement any time earlier than we had been told by other companies. Brenda said that she would would check with Mark and get back to me because he was booked up. She understood that we wanted something soon if possible and said Mark might carve out some time around previously scheduled jobs. This was on a Friday around noon and unfortunately we missed her call a few hours later. She had wanted to tell us that Mark was going to make time for us that day in the early evening. I didn't get the chance to call Brenda back until Saturday, and she said that Mark would come by on Monday. When Mark got to our home on Monday, his price was not as cheap as the lowest phone estimate we had received, but we didn't care. Mark and Brenda both were extremely professional, friendly and accommodating. They bent over backwards to get our AC working again during a busy time and the cost was not much more than the lowest quote we received. We could have waited another week to save a few bucks, but our immediate comfort and the comfort of our pets is more important than money. Mark had us up and running with cold air within the hour! Fast forward a few weeks to our second experience with King of Comfort. Mark came to our new house to inspect and tune our AC unit. We had a coupon for $49.99 for the job. Mark stated that everything was running smoothly right now. He showed me what he was testing and we reviewed the results. He pointed out some potential future issues with the AC and suggested some maintenance items for me to attend to. While he was here, I asked Mark how to operate the electronic filter and whole house humidifier attached to our furnace. The previous owner did not leave any manuals and I have never owned a home with these features. Mark walked me through the operation and maintenance of each unit. The electronic filter was defective so Mark suggested using less expensive media instead of replacing the costly electronic filter. He measured the unit and told me exactly what I needed to buy to save myself several hundred dollars. Mark also sealed and taped some furnace duct work that had not been completed by the original installer. All of this additional service above and beyond the $49.99 coupon job did not cost me a dime. Mark Wilson and Brenda could not be nicer people to deal with. Mark is an honest and fair guy that really knows his business. He also seems to be interested in just doing what is necessary, not in upselling you services or products that you do not need. After my two dealings with the King of Comfort this past month, I can definitely say that we have found our heating and cooling company for life!

Our experience has been excellent from start to finish. From negotiating terms to answering post-installation questions about how our new heat pump functions, working with Mark at King of Comfort has been a tremendously positive experience. Mark has serviced our 24-year-old whole-home air conditioner for a few seasons now and we've always been impressed by his quality service, reasonable fees, professionalism and all-around good-naturedness, so I included him in the group of 3 HVAC contractors I asked to provide a quote for the replacement of our old AC system with a new heat pump. In terms of price, Mark's quote was better than the other 2 - nearly a thousand dollars better than one of them (and that was for a 3 ton unit when our house, in fact, requires a 4 ton unit) and a bit lower than the other one for the same equipment (a Trane XR13 Heat Pump). Mark also offered a very attractive labor warranty (5 years) along with a 1 year service plan for the heat pump and our gas furnace. We felt comfortable with the quality of the equipment given Trane's excellent reputation and the fact that our AC, a Trane, had lasted 24 years. Once we decided to work with Mark, he promptly scheduled and completed the installation. Indeed, he visited my home on a Monday and wrote up the quote on the spot. I informed him on Tuesday I wanted to hire him, and he and his crew installed the system on Friday. Throughout, he was very responsive to telephone calls and text messages. I was not present for the installation, but my wife was, and she said that Mark and the two employees who assisted him for the installation were very professional and courteous as they worked in and around our house. When I arrived after the installation, Mark spent nearly an hour with me as he patiently showed me the new system, explained how to use our new touchscreen programmable Trane thermostat (a very nice piece of equipment), walked me through the warranty registration process on the Trane website and explained how to apply for a rebate from the gas company for the new thermostat. (Incidentally, some heat pumps are themselves eligible for utility company rebates and tax credits, but the one we installed is not). The next day I texted Mark with a question about how our heat pump will interact with our backup gas furnace and Mark replied right away. I can't express how pleased I was by how smooth this whole process has been and how Mark goes about his business. He's been in business since the late 1990s and I can see why. Mark's level of service is truly top-notch, and without the advertising and other overhead of some of the larger HVAC companies in town, he's able to provide that service at refreshingly reasonable rates. Give him a look. It could be well worth your while.

The service tech Mark arrived on time and diagnosed the issue we were having in less that 10 mins. He even help with an unrelated plumbing matter. The service that was received goes well beyond what we expected. The company and employees are stellar.

He is very personable. It is a mom and pop business. He arrives when he is suppose to. He is very professional. I felt the price was worth the service I received. He responded quickly after my first call.

I have used them several times. I spent about $210 on the job. The guy is a very good communicator. He will let you know when he will come out and what is going on. He does a good job. I sent him to my rental property. I did not have to be around. I trust him. He is fully independent. I will use this company again in the future.

I just can't praise him enough. Mark is the owner and did the work for us. He's very excellent, he's very professional, he's nice, he's caring and he's always on time. He does the extra little things that make a big difference. He carries himself with of air professionalism. He even cut out some cardboard and covered it with aluminum foil just to make the finished work look better. I think when it's their business, they go that extra bit because he really goes above and beyond and treats you how you liked to be treated. There was no mess. He cleaned up well. He was just amazing really. I definitely would recommend him to anyone and will use him again.

Wonderful. I called the day the air conditioner quit working. I had a new air conditioner the next day. Very thorough, professional and polite. Will call when I need a new furnace.

We contacted them on Thanksgiving and they called back that night and told us they would be out here the next morning by 8 to check it out to make sure we were safe and back in business. Didn't even charge us for the visit! Very professional and always fair in price.

Mark does good work and I have used him for all my rental properties for several years. He is honest, comes back to do warranty work quickly, and does a great job.
