Just Perfect Painting & Wallcoverings

We bought a coupon for a set price for 2 hours of work. We thought it would take the guys longer than that time, but we wanted to keep costs down, so asked them to finish what they could in that time period. Much to our surprise they were finished with the whole room in an hour! Very prompt, very professional. Would work with Just Perfect again.

i was very pleased. the finished price was less than the estimate, although the wall and trim repair was done with much more detail than i had expected. jerald worked with me so the wallpaper stripping could be done before the remodel and all the painting done at a later date after remodel, new windows, etc. rotation of work was done in a manner that always left us with a usable bathroom. workers were on time, respectful, surprisingly quiet, and did extra repair work that i was not expecting. clean-up and reattachment of all hardware was another pleasant surprise. i will be calling again when ready for more painting to be done.

It went very well. Very professional. Workers were here on time everyday, worked all day, cleaned everything up at the end of each day, made sure we were happy before they left. Took a little longer than first thought, but we did add some things after they started. Would definitely hire again.

It was a beautiful result. when they say they will be there at 8:00 they are there at 8:00! The are are polite and professional and get right to work. they covered all the carpet in the hallway in the hallway leading to the bedroom. when they let they put all the furniture back in place they certainly live up to their name Just Perfect.

The owner could have better customer service. We had some paint bubble up around the window, and the response we got wasn't very customer oriented. They did do somethings great like, the wall paper stripping, and everything was done very well. The customer service was the biggest thing.

IT couldn't have gone better. They were in and out as promised in just few days. The falls look better than a brand new house! They clean up after themselves every night. They are hardest workers I have ever seen hence I re hired them for this job. I also have plans this Summer to do outside and continue the remodel so I will be using them for EVERY job! Honestly I am pretty speeches on this whole crew and how they operate! People always need to remember you get what you pay for. If you go with the cheaper bid be prepared to spend more money to get it done right!

It couldn't have gone better! They actually show up everyday at 7:30 and work a full eight hours! Gerald is the most professional Painter I have ever come crossed. I always knew when they were going to be here, what the plans were for the day. I knew at end of every Week what would be complete. They always stayed on task and completed what was promised before the Week end. My house is around 40 years old and its never looked better. Not a paint drop to be found in the entire house and I have never seen such straight clean lines. I also want to say that his whole crew acts this way and paints/works the same way. The ceilings where they scrapped off all the popcorn wouldn't look this good in a new construction home. Gerald was also very patient with me picking out colors and changing my mind a few times. I just can't say enough about Just Perfect. I guess I know why they chose that name! We 100% will be hiring them again this Summer to do lots more projects we have planned! One other thing I forgot to mention is that the whole crew looked very professional and clean. I left them in my home for few weeks and was never remotely worried. My 8r old daughter even loved them. It happened to her her Birthday during all this and they brought her a gift. They also made sure the main level was done and presentable by her Birthday party. All I can say is above and beyond! This is the only company I would ever hire again!

The experience with Jerald and his team was just perfect from the beginning (see what I did there?). He replied quickly to initial contact, scheduled an estimate soon thereafter, and scheduled the job quite quickly once we let him know that we were interested in moving forward. We started by contacting a few highly-rated wallpaper/painting folks from Angie's List before settling on Just Perfect. The pricing was similar for all of them with Jerald being slightly more favorable. Because of that and his quick communication, selecting Just Perfect was not a tough choice. After our first contact, we were provided a detailed estimate that was nearly spot on. Total cost ended up being a bit higher in the end, but this was because of drywall damage we inflicted in the interim that his team expertly fixed without any issue whatsoever. Once we decided to move forward with Jerald, he was very quick to reply to all email inquiries we sent his way. And, once the day came, he and his team showed up at the door at 8am promptly. He confirmed directions with us and gave his 3-man team instructions and they went to work. This process continued for 3 days until the project's completion (actually half a day ahead of schedule). During their time here, Jerald's team was clean, professional, and courteous. And, although I was here and working throughout the full process, I'm not sure I ever really saw them take a real break. Ever. It really was quite astounding. Due to the nature of wallpaper removal, it is always going to be an hourly-paid job. When Jerald first met with me, he assured me his guys were hard workers. He was right. In the end, I now have three rooms with very dated wallpaper removed, two difficult-to-paint rooms looking fantastic (large kitchen area + bathroom), and one easy-to-paint room fully prepped by his crew for my wife and I to tackle.

Jerold has been to our house to work several times over the last few years and I will be asking him to give me an estimate for painting the trim on our butler-Tarkington colonial home over the next few months. I'm very particular about quality and neatness, and maintaining the architectural integrity of the house with contractors working in our home, and Jerold is always my go-to guy. he does a great job and seems to view my expectations as I do: high but not unreasonable.

They clean up each day and left the room as clean as when they arrived. They were very efficient and notified me when there were unexpected issues. I was extremely pleased with the room and would absolutely contact them for any future work.

Jerold was very responsive and polite from my first request for a quote. He and his crew were always on time, and did an excellent job. They had to do some drywall repair as well, and we were amazed at the quality of work. You couldn't even tell on wall where the holes had been! There were a couple of spots that needed another coat after they finished up. When I called, they came back that very day to fix them. I was very impressed with both the quality of work and the service!

Jerold agreed to do our job on the weekend due to the short timeline between buying our home and moving into it. We really appreciated that flexibility. Everyone needs days off but he (and 2 crew members) sacrificed one for us. They were fantastic! They were very professional and respectful of our time and our home. Jerold called in advance of his arrival. My husband and I are first-time home owners and had many questions which Jerold was happy to answer. The 3 of them wiped out our wallpaper in no time! WAY faster than I could have imagined. They cleaned up after themselves and were on their way in short time.

I was told for $320 I would either get one man for 8 hours, or 2 men for 4. It turned out that 4 men came for 2 hours. After about 5 minutes, the boss told me that they usually didn't get the job completed in 2 hours - but I could buy an additional hour either from him directly or through Angie's list. I was told that in the original price that they would strip the wallpaper, remove all of the paste, patch and smooth all rough spots. Now I will need to pay the painter to finish the first job before the painting is started.

It went well. Workers arrived on time every day and worked hard until they left for the day. They did an outstanding job.

Jerold was prompt, thorough and tidy. He was able to work us in on a tight timeline even though he was very busy. He showed up on time each day until the work was finished and made sure we were pleased with the result. We will use him again and recommend him highly to other Angie's list members.

Did a beautiful job painting the newly remodeled bathroom and the master bedroom including all doors, trim, ceiling and walls. While they were here, they touched up the foyer and family room--both areas they painted for us a few years ago. The crew is very friendly, thorough, flexible, and professional. They are also really good at setup and take down, leaving the work space very clean. We have used them exclusively for all interior and exterior paint jobs at our house.

We agreed verbally sometime in May that Jerold and the team would begin the job late July; the team arrived onsite and begin scraping without formal prior notification mid-July. Thankfully, i was ok with that, but would definitely recommend that they be sure to get formal confirmation in the future. This was my 2nd experience working with this team; and consistent w/ the first time, once they arrived, they were very well organized, focused and committed to the work. Whether or not the owner, Jerold was on-site the team always maintained a professional demeanor and commitment to excellence. They had a stated deadline to complete the job, and worked thru the weekend to assure it was finished!! They seem to have a site manager (Ricardo?) to oversee the job. I have worked w/ too many contractors where support team members or contracted workers do not seem to manage themselves at the same level of the owner. This group works well together, demonstrates a high level of respect for me and my property. Keep up the good work!

Job went excellent. The only thing I mention (and frankly, it just shows how in demand they are) is that it can take some time before they are available. Jerold does as much as he possibly can to squeeze you into his schedule, especially if he knows you have an event coming up. My suggestion is get on Jerold's schedule as soon as possible. Don't put it off if you need something done fast. I have used Jerold's business a few times now and can always count on a job well done. I rated the cost a B only because he may be slightly on the high end of the scale but that does not dissuade me because I would rather pay a little bit more and be certain the job is done right. Another note, they work quickly and as I said, accurately. It is so nice to have this crew come paint. A couple of years ago I was having some work done in my house and the contractor told me he also paints. Going against my better judgment, I allowed him to paint my master bedroom and bath and it was so bad. He had to come back twice to fix it and it still is poor. So, I HIGHLY recommend Jerold and his crew. One of his painters has been with him for over 15 years. That speaks volumes!

After painting my house, Just Perfect power washed and painted my worn out deck and pergola. Did a GREAT job. Two coats of opaque stain, as I requested. Moved all the furniture off the deck for me. Really worked it into the cracks in the wood and between planks. Looks great now!

Hired Just Perfect painting to completely powerwash my house, paint all the wood trim (I have vinyl siding and windows), paint the metal trim surrounding the windows, caulk the windows (like "winterizing") and replace any rotten wood they find. They did a wonderful job! Showed up early every morning, sometimes as early at 7am!. A whole crew worked hard all day Not quitting until around 4pm. Powerwashing got a lot off dirt and mildew off. They even tried (although unsuccessfully) to get some rust stains off up around the chimney. Used KILZ over the metal up there to make sure the rust didn't continue to stain. Thoroughly scraped and caulked everywhere. Found some rotten wood and replaced it all. Reattached a soffit vent that wasn't attached solidly. Two coats of quality paint throughout. Also painted the front door and trim black. Completely covered all the walks, porch and plants to protect them. Cleaned up any little spills without my asking. Had them also paint some metal trim the window installers had put around the vinyl replacement windows. Now they match. They had to use a different kind of paint for the metal and it took a few coats and a lot of detailed work. Also painted the garage door, gutters and downspouts to match the house. It cost more than I expected because we originally thought 1 coat of paint would do it. But, after one coat Jerold wasn't satisfied with the result. He showed me, got my approval and added a second coat. I appreciate his looking out for me. In fact, that's what I would say is the best thing about Just Perfect. They treated my home like it was their own. Really looked out for me throughout the process. They weren't the cheapest bid I got. But, by far not the most expensive either. You get what you pay for and I definitely got my money's worth. They're staining my pergola and deck right now and I'll report back on that. But, I expect it'll be just as good. Definitely recommend! I figure I've got one more painting, years down the road when I'm ready to sell. And I'll definitely look for Just Perfect again!

Great working with Jerold and Ricardo and the crew. All were prompt, respectful, responsive to requests. They cleaned up after themselves every day. I can't speak more highly about this company and crew. They are very conscious of doing a job. I was frequently asked it the work was up to expectations etc. Jerold was very patient about some indecisiveness on colour. I would hire these guys again in a second.
