Description of Work: They removed wallpaper. They did some plaster repair work and did interior painting as well. Their quality of work was very good but even though they were very careful to remove the wallpaper and cleaned up well, they got carpet dirty while they were painting. I felt like they should have been a little more careful but they did a very good job on the painting.

Description of Work: Jerold Steigman and his painting crew from Just Perfect Painting painted the entire outside of our brick house: trim, garage, windows, doors and 2nd floor siding. I have used this company for nine years on two different houses. His team members and especially his team leader, "Cooler" are very professional, easy to work with, and VERY detail -oriented, which I think is a necessity in painting. They show up on time, are courteous, and very hard-working.. The price is reasonable for the meticulous painting they provide. I highly recommend Just Perfect Painting and Wallcoverings.

Description of Work: Working with Jerold, Cooler and the "Just Perfect" team was delightful! I have used Jerold for years and his workmanship , professionalism, punctuality and fair prices have remained constant. I am a perfectionist and Jerold's crew understands what I expect. They patched walls, stripped wallpaper, did drywall repairs, did extensive sanding, replaced all light fixtures, replaced all closet shelving, light switches, and window shades, repaired the floor of a kitchen cabinet, and painted the entire 1700 square foot house and garage. They completed the work in ten days. The work was meticulous and the house looked brand new when they finished. Description of Work: I cannot say enough good things about having Just Perfect Painting re-do my master bedroom. I had them install trim around baseboard, trim out 3 windows, remove wallpaper boarder, paint walls and ceiling and 2 doors. Professionals all the way!!!! Everything went so well and my room is just beautiful. I can't wait to hire Just Perfect Painting again.

Great, per above report.
Description of Work: A shower curtain rod had fallen in the guest bathroom and scraped one strip of wallpaper. We thought it would be an easy job, taking maybe 1 1/2 - 2hrs. However when Jerold began steaming and removing the paper, he found that the paper/glue was a type that adhered to the drywall. I could see that it was very difficult to peel off, and took much patience (which I certainly wouldn't have!). He & his helper, Ricardo worked diligently. They were here a total of 4 hours, and only charged $20 more than his estimate, even though much more time was involved. He also installed a permanent curtain rod rather than the "tension" rod that caused the problem. The area was as clean when they left as when they arrived.We would certainly call him again for any painting or wallpapering.Sharon Pressner

They did a wonderful job and I am very pleased. They even helped me move some stuff out of my backyard, which they didn't have to do. I have already asked them to do the exterior of my home in the spring. Very professional and great guys! Very prompt with everything.

Description of Work: PART OF THE JOB WAS COMPLETED TO MY SATISFACTION. HE STARTED ANOTHER ROOM BUT COMPLAINED THAT THE PAPER WAS UNSATISFACTORY. HE LEFT THE ROOM FOR 6 WEEKS WITH LARGE STREAKS OF BLACK PAINT. WHEN AN ALTERNATE PAPER WAS AVAILABLE HE REFUSED TO CONSIDER RETURNING FOR 4 TO 6 WEEKS.

THE FLOORS WERE LEFT DIRTY EVERY EVENING AND AFTER THE WORK. THE OWNER TOLD THE PAINTERS ON FRIDAY THAT IF THEY WERE DONE EARLY THEY COULD GO PLAY GOLF, ON HIM. I WOULD JUST SAY THEY PROBABLY HAD QUITE A NICE GAME OF GOLF BECAUSE THEY LEFT A TOTAL MESS IN MY HOME. THE OWNER HAD A 30 DAY GUARANTEE, BUT I HAD A BABY WITHIN THAT TIME FRAME AND WAS UNABLE TO FOLLOW UP WITH THAT. THEY ALSO LEFT OUTLET COVERS OFF AND MANY ARE MISSING IN PLACED WHERE THEY ARE HIDDEN (BEHIND REFRIDGERATOR). THERE WERE TWO GENTLEMEN THAT DID EXEMPLARY WORK AND THREE THAT WERE LAME EXCUSES FOR PAINTERS. ONE OF THE MOST DISAPPOINTING THINGS WAS THAT THE OWNER (JEROLD STIEGMAN) WAS HERE NINETY PERCENT OF THE TIME AND THE WORK STILL TURNED OUT POOR. HE DID A GOOD JOB ORGANIZING THE ESTIMATE AND THERE WERE NO SURPRISE IN COST, HOWEVER THE FOLLOW THROUGH WITH THOSE OBLIGATIONS WAS GREATLY LACKING.
Description of Work: THEY REMOVED WALLPAPER, DID DRYWALL REPAIR WORK, AND PAINTED OUR ENTIRE DOWNSTAIRS. THERE WERE CIGARETTE BUTTS LEFT EVERYWHERE! THEY DRYWALL WORK WAS SHODDY, AT BEST, AND THE PAINTING ITSELF WAS AVERAGE QUALITY. MANY AREAS WERE SKIPPED OVER OR MISSED AND IT IS VERY APPARENT WHERE FIXTURES WERE REMOVED AND DRYWALL WAS NOT DONE PROPERLY.
