Just Perfect Painting & Wallcoverings

The workers were very courteous and on time. I was home while they wore working and can say that I received a full day of work from each employee. It snowed one of the days they were here and one of the painters grabbed my snow shovel and cleaned my driveway and walkway. I didn't order enough paint and one of the guys picked it up for me. One of the things I appreciate about Just Perfect is you buy your own material so there is no markup. If you have something that needs to be delivered by truck you can pick it out and they will pick it up. Any concern I had during the work such as paint or stain color was dealt with immediately. Mu house was built in 1972 and was very dated but Just Perfect turned in to a place I enjoy coming home to. One of the things they did was remove some ceiling beams from the living room. The drywall work was perfect and I can't tell there were ever beams attached to the ceiling. I still have a list of projects that need to be completed. Just Perfect is the only company that will be working on my house.

When he came to give me an estimate, he was early. Then I scheduled the work for a month away. On the day he was supposed to begin I called Jerold because it was after the time he said he would start. He mumbled several excuses but the bottom line is he forgot our appointment. He called back and said he would start the next day. I may have been cutting into his other business. Then he tried to rush the job and brought some painters with him to do part, but they were painting before any of the plaster was skim coated, as he had told me he would do before painting. It looks okay, but doesn't seem great because I got a rush job.

Jerold exceeded our expectations. He responded quickly to our urgent request for service, arrived early, finished quickly, and left the work area very neat. We look forward to hiring him for more jobs in the future!

Jerold and his team were friendly, professional, and did a PERFECT job. He is a master at the art of wallpaper hanging and painting. They worked quickly and lowered the price when the job didn't take as long as expected. I am very pleased.

Second time I used Just Perfect. First experience was with a kitchen. Used them again for the Powder Room. They stripped two layers of wallpaper, repaired the walls and painted the walls and the ceiling. The room looks like new again. They were on time, took two days. Price slightly exceeded the original estimate, due to second layer of paper. Well worth it. Second time I used this company and believe it, or not, every time I called the owner picked the phone up. No answering machines, waiting for call backs, none of the headaches that are normal when you deal with a contractor. Highly recommend.

Just Perfect's team was outstanding. This is the 3rd time we've used them, but the first we've had them paint the exterior of our home. They were exceptionally responsive, showing up each day in the morning and keeping to a tight schedule with prep, paint, and clean up. Their crew went above and beyond with us, helping select paint colors and painting a small portion of the house to let us confirm the color was the right one before moving forward. When the bolts that kept our shutters on the brick face of our home broke due to previous contractor's poor job, they purchased more bolts and secured the shutters safely and correctly. We had another vendor stain our pergola over our deck and, unfortunately, then came the same week. That vendor was horrible, and made a mess of the hours walls, getting stain on gutters, window trim, walls, and roof. Just Perfect paint stayed calm and professional, and helped clean up a mess that wasn't theirs to handle. Our home is beautiful now--we've gotten several compliments from neighbors that the house just "pops" now, and we owe it all to Jerold and his team. I couldn't recommend them more--and we will definitely use them again for both inside and outside our home. They deserve to be nominated for a super service award for sure.

Working with Jerold was quick and easy. He even came out on a Sunday afternoon (only a couple days after I first contacted him) to give us an estimate. As soon as we received the estimate and decided to go ahead with Just Perfect Painting, all we had to do was give him our paint colors and the work started within the week! Our only VERY slight concern was that we weren't informed when they were going to start - quite a surprise for my husband who woke up to a group of men power-washing our house! But not a big deal since it was all outside work and done in a quick and professional manner. The house looks great and we would definitely recommend Just Perfect Painting!

I wish there was an A+ category to express the professionalism and final product I received. Jerold named his company Just Perfect for a reason. The finished job is just perfect. The painting and wallpapering are flawless. He completed the work one week ahead of schedule! How often does that happen? He and his crew were punctual, hard working, careful, polite, and precise. They bent over backwards to accommodate any request. This company is the most effcient I have ever seen. I couldn't be happier. I will not use anyone else in the future for painting and wallpapering.

The process and the work performed was 'just perfect' ( and I am not necessarily easy to please). Jerold delivered on his promise in every aspect. He was responsive in communication, on time for estimates, follow-up and work, and consistently professional. it is apparent that he holds members of his work team to the same high standards. I appreciate his dependability; the respect in which he and his team managed themselves aroundmy home, and would definitely use him again, as well as recommend to others.

This project was unbelievable smooth in more ways than one! After I first called, Jerold, the owner, he came out within 3 days to give me an estimate. He did say he was very booked for about six weeks, but he managed to schedule our project only 2 weeks later. They did a fantastic job. Having removed wallpaper myself in my younger years, I know it's a job, and it's also a trick to get the walls to have a very smooth finish to paint over. Our walls had a great finish when they were done, and you can't even tell that they were previously papered, and that there was ever a phone on that wall. There painting was very nice, too. Very neat lines along the edges, and for some of the areas, he was using a deep Cabin Red. This was a two day project, and they did a great job of cleaning up after the first day, and again when the job was finished. Without a doubt, I would definitely have them back to remove other wallpaper again.

The work was done in a timely fashion. The workmen were respectful and pleasant. The walls look very nice.

We had a very dated house built in 1972. Over the past two years The crew from Just Perfect have been j=helping us design and update our house from top to bottom. They divided the house in to sections so there would be as little inconvenience as possible. We fell as if we are living in a brand new house and love it. There were ugly tan beams across the ceiling in our living room. They removed the beams and rebuilt the ceilings so you can't tell the beams were ever in place. They had to rebuild one end of our built in bookcase and we can not tell it is not the original. One day, when we had snow in the ground, one of the guys went in to the garage, found a snow shovel and shoveled the walk so I would not fall. I have recommended them to anyone I know doing any type of work on there home. We have one room to finish and have already scheduled Just Perfect to do the work. Donna

Jerold is seriously the best! He's painted for us twice, and it was so easy to coordinate. Always does an excellent job and even makes it so convenient to coordinate payment. He is so professional and responsive. His work is of high quality and very, very reasonable. We would use him over and over again! I would HIGHLY recommend Jerold's company for any job. When I talked with the owner, at first I declined to have the walls prepared - after stripping the wallpaper. Then, I agreed to pay him - I believe $300, to take care of any imperfections on the walls. The walls are NOT smooth.

Jerald is a fantastic painter. He runs a company as it should be run. Jerald did 3 jobs for us. He was always prompt in responding to our initial contact whether it was a phone call or email. Within 24 hours he called to set up an appointment to come and give an estimate. When he came out to do the estimate, he always gave helpful ideas and suggestions. For each job, he always started exactly when he said he would come. He and his workers were always pleasant to be around. They cleaned up the work area each day before they left. I highly recommend this company.

He was efficient, reliable, and professional. And his prices were reasonable. We called him on a Wednesday and he performed our job just a few days later. He is also willing to work weekends. The job was completed earlier than first anticipated. The crew showed up on time with the owner of the company. The crew completed the job and cleaned up after their job each day.

Jerold and his assistant were on time worked really efficiently. They did a fabulous job! He even covered the switch plate and matched it perfectly to the rest of the floral pattern on the wall. They put the chairs and table back where they belonged, and Jerold asked for the vacuum for the floor, even though it was covered during their work. I was very impressed and will certainly use Just Perfect again.

We have used this company before and they are very professional. They spent a little over a day taking off the wallpaper and then started repairing and painting the three rooms. It took a little over a week. They also put up two wallpaper borders in the bathrooms when the painting had dried. They worked hard and there were no problems; they did an excellent job. The job cost more than the estimate but the finished work looks wonderful. They do an outstanding job.

I was moving to a new home with old wallpaper. The previous owner had described terrible trouble removing the paper, particularly the backing, in the master bedroom and bath ( it took a team of people two days, with considerable wall damage, which was poorly repaired). After hearing about her experience, I decided, with great trepidation, to go ahead with stripping the kitchen (large room with vaulted ceiling) and laundry room . Expecting the worst, I searched Angie's list for someone experienced with nightmare scenarios who I felt could handle the worst case, and I found Jerold Steigman of Just Perfect Paint and Wallpaper. Jerold exceeded my expectations. He and his employees (2) removed the old paper and backing in a couple of hours, with minimal damage, then returned the next day to repair the minor damage and prep the walls for painting. He even re-did some of the poor repair work left behind in the bedroom by the previous company. Jerold Steigman knows drywall and wallpaper. I am confident he could handle any project. He was fast, accommodating with his scheduling, and fair in his pricing. In short - a professional. I am very satisfied customer.

I submitted for a quote to multiple companies, and in a matter of moment I had an email from "Just Perfect" with a request for me to call xxx-xxxx to schedule a quote. They answered immediately and we discussed available times to meet. He was able to meet the following day for a quote, but mentioned that he was booked further out than what I was looking for. Very professional, just didn't fit in our time-frame. Would call again pending our/my flexibility of a different time-frame of work completed.

We solicited 3 estimates before going with "Just Perfect Painiting". Mr. Stiegman was able to accommadate our schedule at a short notice and sugested they would be able to work the weekend if nessassary. During initial walkthrough he indicated that we could save some money and time by pulling some of the easier sections of wallpaper down ourselves which we did - don't know many companies that would mention that and one reason we went with his company. Wallpaper was removed and where needed walls were repaired and primed. "Just Perfect" crew went the extra mile to cault/seal all corners to provide clean and smooth look before owners painted. They swept and vaccumed at the end of each day of work and were kind and curtious during the whole project.
