Great. Initial assessment was that wiring new outlet would require an exterior conduit. But, after crawling through the attic access it was determined that the wiring could be installed without punching holes through the exterior walls. Yeah.

These guys were good on communication, punctuality, and understanding and accommodating my request. They were able to perform the work at the same time they gave me the estimate. I chose them originally because they did not charge to come out and give me an estimate. They were fast, thorough and cleaned up. The job was reasonably priced, I believe.

Erich was great!! 2 other people from Joe Schmo showed up later to assist. Everything was explained to us. Joe Schmo completed their part, however since our electrical line from the pole to house was being moved we are still waiting for AES.

Company called promptly and announced a date to come out for the estimate. The date was a bit further out, but they showed up as promised and provided a good price for the myriad of items we wanted completed. We had wiring for a ceiling light with light installation done in the living room, replaced all exterior lights at garage, front door and patio with motion sensor lighting and put motion sensor light in our hallway. Company also hung shop light and installed electrical outlet box in our shed. Work was completed in just a few hours and to our full satisfaction.

I actually only needed an estimate at this point. This company responded right away, was on time for our appointment, took the time to discuss the best options for running the lines we needed and gave us our estimate right there on the spot.

Shannon came to give us a quote on the job about three weeks ago. He was professional, really listened to our ideas, offered suggestions based on his expertise, and gave us a reasonable quote on the same day with no pushy sales tactics. Joe Schmo Electrical was scheduling work about three weeks out. On our scheduled day, Shannon called us when they were 30 minutes away and arrived at the originally scheduled time. Once again, he and Tony were pleasant and professional. They obviously were experts at their craft, and they worked hard to complete the agreed upon tasks. As they were working, they found some wiring issues in the attic room and fixed them at no extra cost. That says a lot about their integrity and workmanship pride. Even though our house is in a state of renovation, they were careful to protect our kitchen counters and cleaned up before leaving. I never knew I could be so excited about electrical work, but it has made such a difference in the overall aesthetic of our kitchen, living room, and attic bedroom. They look bright, cheery, updated, and even larger. My husband and I agreed that it was worth every penny we spent on this part of our renovation project. If you need a knowledgeable, reliable electrician and want to know the job is done right - this is who you call! 1) They gave me multiple FREE inspections and estimates on homes for which I had a purchase agreement. Each was customized to the circumstances. I never got the sense that I received a "standard" quote and the inspections were always thorough and explained in depth. 2) They know their business. They know Codes and they know which codes are safety issues. 3) They show up on time, every time. 4) They keep you informed 5) They are flexible. When my large project required multiple changes at the 9th hour, they walked through everything with me and took time to understand the scope of work. 6) They made relevant recommendations and suggestions. They thought about things I had not considered, such as the simple need for an outlet in a bathroom that I had not noticed was missing or how one might naturally move through a house and where a switch for a fan vs. light may be helpful. 7) They alerted me to potential problems I might face with their work; e.g. plaster walls sometimes crumble when disturbed for electrical work. 8) They asked my preferences; minimal drywall damage vs. moving fixtures to ensure they align. 9) They accurately predicted the time to complete the work and finished on time. 10) They were careful to secure my home when they left each day 11) They cleaned up when the work was complete. I found no indication that there was any debris left in the attic or basement. All in all, if you want a job done right - pay the pros. Joe Schmo are professionals.

Great! I called and the young woman who answered the phone asked me if the outlet was upside down. Yes, it was. Well, that meant it was the outlet connected to the light switch! OOHHH! So I now know an honest electrician!

Great! The gentleman came out and diagnosed the issue quickly. The outlet, which was in the bathroom, was related to the GFI outlet in the garage, which had recently been tripped. He did not charge me for the visit. Once again, thank goodness for these honest people!

Everything went very smooth. From the owner that did our quote to the guys that came out and performed the work to the office staff everyone was very courteous and professional. We feel we paid a fair price for the work we had done and would definitely be willing to hire Joe Schmo Electrical Services again!

I have an electrical dryer that was not functioning correctly. The repair tech told me something was wrong with the electricity. So I called Joe Schmo. It was a weird issue that was fairly difficult to diagnose as the initial diagnostics all looked good, but it would have an issue as the dryer tried to pull load. The electrician went above and beyond to address and fix the problem, taking no charge.

Went very well. Prompt and fixed my problem in less than 30 min.

Everything went smooth and the electrician was on time. I had the replacement part. He was able to get up into a tight space in the attic and then on a ladder to replace this now it's working fine.
