From the minute I called their office, Rachelle was amazing. So friendly, helpful, and got information right back to me. Eli, our service tech was very knowledgeable, communicated everything so I could understand exactly what he was doing, and was so friendly. I will be using them again soon for adding some outlets in our unfinished basement. I would highly recommend calling them for any electrical issues.

Levi did a great job and also recognized that my furnace had not been placed on a dedicated circuit during some previous work by another electrician. He repaired my circuit and placed the furnace on a dedicated circuit. He worked very efficiently and quickly. They were able to come the same day as contacted.

Technician showed up on time, asked several questions and replaced the outlet.

Everything went very well. Erich arrived on time, diagnosed the problem right away and completed the work.

Eli was prompt, courteous, efficient, and made a difficult job well done. He kept us advised of his progress, had us review the completed work, and cleaned up his path from front door through the bathroom area, even though he conscientiously wore covers on his shoes.

He arrived promptly, was professional and friendly. He immediately discovered what was wrong with one of the outlets and it was fixed. After some investigating he found the problem with the other outlet and repaired that outlet. The whole process took less than 30 minutes which was great.

They showed up in a timely fashion and were able to complete the work within a few hours. The lights look amazing and the outlet is functioning as it should. Their price was fair and competitive. I will definitely use them again to install more can lights in the future.

Eric explained everything he would be doing and why it needed to be done. Was able to come out the same day so we weren't without hot water long. Very friendly guy!

I called yesterday and explained that my home was on the Market and I needed two out dated light fixtures replaced. Very accommodating and scheduled Technician next day... He called before he arrived and arrived when he said he would and finished within 1 1/2 hours. Nice, professional and experienced. Was very happy they worked me into their busy schedule! Excellent!!! Very Professional, excellent price, very clean and neat work, excellent communication, knowledgable, thoughtful regarding wearing shoe booties, and by far the best in the business from my experience. Highly recommend them and use them again.

Quality work and people!! They fixed the minor issue at no charge. I called them for an electrical issue on my rental property. They reached out to the renter, set up a time that worked for them. Checked out the issue (just for estimate sake), followed be it to be minor, and fixed it for free on the spot. That kind of personal professionalism is rare. Definitely my go to electrician now.

He was great! He arrived when he said he would and fixed both of our issues in less than an hour. Very friendly and knowledgable!

On Wednesday the owner came out and gave me a quote. The price was so reasonable I asked if he could put it up that day and he was already booked. However, he placed a call to the office and they were able to get me scheduled for the next day. Eli came out on the next day at the appointment time. He was well prepared for the job had all of the tools needed. He put foot covers on so as not to track dirt inside the house. He did an excellent job. Eli looks to be about 12 (I'm sure he's much older) but he is very skilled at his trade. He had the 2 lights up in no time, put the bulbs in, and cleaned up afterwards. He even too the large packaging the light came in with him, which I was very appreciative. Before he left I asked him about some other lighting we might want to have done at a later date and he give me a written estimate, and even went into the attic to see about how the wiring would work on a particular design we discussed. It went really well. They showed up the same day that I called for the quote. We then set up the appointment at a time convenient for me. They were actually early, but called 30 minutes before to see if they could come. They did the work and were on their way quickly. Very happy with the service.

I am very pleased with this company. They arrived on time and were very professional. They placed cardboard circles on the ceiling and asked me to approve the placements before they every started the job. The locations were uniformly place to give the maximum light to the room. They spent a lot of extra time running the wiring in the ceiling to avoid cutting more than one hole in the wall and one in the ceiling without any extra charge. They replace the drywall they had cut from the holes and a little drywall patch has covered them nicely. They cleaned up everything after they were done. While they were there I also had them move a light receptacle in my bathroom. I was pleased with that job also.

We would highly recommend Joe Schmo Electrical Services! I received a call to schedule my installation within minutes of purchasing this Angie's List deal. James and Derrick arrived on time and went right to work on removing the light and installing the recessed lights. We also asked for an estimate on some additional electrical services and the quote was reasonable. They had allocated time to perform those additional services so they completed those services also (installed ceiling fan, installed an additional dimmer switch, changed the some garage plugs to/from 220. They completed all the work within 4-5 hours and we've had no issues. My husband asked for an additional estimate on installing 3 additional work lights to our garage and we scheduled them to come back 4 days later for that work.

Awsome! These folks are top-notch. They are super quick to respond and schedule time to come out for a quote, very quick to schedule the work and I absolutely love my new lights! Will definitely hire them again!

Eric came and gave an estimate and put me on the schedule for a week later. He ordered the low voltage lights for the under cabinet lighting (which this job included in the price). They arrived on time on the day scheduled and worked non stop from 9:30am until 4:00pm. They created new outlets and switches in the kitchen and did a beautiful job with the installation of the new lighting. They hung the new tv and set all up with the wiring and outlets to make a very nice clean look (no wires hanging out, etc). They were very personable yet professional. No nonsense and worked continuously. They cleaned up the work area completely. This is my second job experience with Joe Schmo and will continue to use and recommend them.

Joe Schmo was fantastic. I dealt with four individuals, and the professionalism of everyone was outstanding. Absolutely recommend.

James arrived promptly and installed additional lights and switch in the attic as requested. He then removed an incandescent fixture and replaced it with a large fluorescent fixture in the garage. Finally he identified the breakers in the panel and labeled same. ll aroundHe was quite friendly, courteous and professional. An excellent service all around.

Everything went great! Eric was punctual and did a fantastic job. He made an extra trip to Menards to pick up a more powerful fan for our bathroom and installed additional ventilation duct work in our attic on a very hot afternoon. Everything was done well and efficiently. This was our second time using Joe Schmo Electrical and we will definitely use them again in the future!
