Description of Work: They couldn't even bother to keep their appointment. I took off work to meet with them and called to make sure they were still going to make the appointment. Then 1/2 hour after the time of appointment they called and said they couldn't make it and I would have to reschedule. I understand that things happen that make it impossible to get to appointments on time but it was handled very poorly. Especially since I called in advance to make sure they were still coming.

Description of Work: The three gentlemen from Joe Schmo that installed 4 can lights in my family room (as part of an AL deal) did a great job. They took the time to meticulously plan out the job and provide me with options before getting started. One of them explained that they needed to cut into the ceiling or drywall, since there is no ceiling access from above. They ended up utilizing a dry-walled bulkhead which made the job more difficult for them but made the drywall repair/matching much easier for me as it was smooth drywall instead of a textured ceiling. This was much appreciated and it was nice that these guys didn't just take the easy way out. I will definitely use them for my electrical needs in the future. Thanks again!

Description of Work: Technician was scheduled to arrive between 9 & 10 AM and arrived at 9:50 AM. Installation took only about 10 minutes. All questions I had were answered. Even electrical questions I had not related to this installation were answered. We are highly satisfied with the work. |Angie's List has offered whole house surge protection installation in the past for $100.00 in April of 2013 and $130.00 sometime in 2014 which makes the $493.00 I paid questionable. The surge protector installed is, according to the Eaton Corp website, a top of the line (CHSPT2ULTRA) device but I could not find cost information. I wonder if the devices offered in the past were cheaper and of lesser quality or if we got overcharged.

Description of Work: They replaced the fuse box and wiring going to the outside of the house. I didn't actually meet them, I was at work, but my father-in-law did. My father-in-law is a retired engineer and knows electrical work and he was impressed with the estimate and the work performed. So, I am pleased!
