+ -1 moreMr. Davis was very professional and knowledgeable. He arrived on time. He spotted several places on the house that needed attention that we had not noticed. He gave us a detailed estimate. Although we decided to accept another company's bid, we would consider JT Enterprises again if we need further work on the house.
Description of Work: Troy Davis gave us an estimate to install Hardi plank siding over the existing wood siding.

+ -1 moreHe never showed up for his appointment with my husband. My husband called him and left several messages. Then my husband called the office and they indicated they don't know why he didn't get back to him but they'd give him the message. It's been over a month now with no contact. This company clearly doesn't stand behind their work and I would not recommend them. We had another company install the drip edge on the roof but the siding over the brick has not been resolved. We had to pay waterproofers to install a gutter system underground since the water was dripping down the side of the house and seeping into the basement.
Description of Work: In 2006, prior to our purchase of our home, the former owners had roofing and siding done as an insurance job by this contractor. We noticed the leaking into the garage after we purchased our house and discovered no drip edge was put on the roof. Fritz indicated the sellers probably didn't ask for it and the warranty didn't transfer to us anyway. Then later on my husband noticed the brick on the side of our house, designed to help the rain from getting too close to the house (and leaking in) was sided with aluminum (unlike all the other homes around our house. My husband noticed rain was catching, going underneath and rotted wood was under the siding. So my husband called Fritz again. Also, there is a sharp edge to the siding by the entrance to the home that catches clothing and can hurt someone. My husband called Fritz again. He said they did side over the brick but couldn't remember why. He said he'd come out and look and "give us an estimate" on any changes.

+ -1 moreThe first call was answered by a friendly person. Fritz Ruffin, contractor, has been incredibly customer oriented. Very patient with my decision process. Clear when answering all my questions and volunteering information I did not think or know to ask about. Excellent in working with insurance company, both when submitting bid and during. I received a large second check I did not expect to be able to get! Kept in constant contact with me while I was at work. All of the sub-contractors were professional and friendly. As tidy as possible. Unlike with another contractor working on a neighbor's house, they did not contribute to the blowing trash in street and yards. The roofs were completed in one day and look great. The work on the bump-out was better than expected. This company will also be doing my siding and some electrical work. I will consider them when ready to replace fence and windows.
Description of Work: Removed all roofing on house and garage. Replaced with premium, foam backed vinyl siding. Sixteen soffit vents. Replace framing and roof on garage bump-out area. Replace approximately 60 board feet of dry rot roof framing. Discovered a little electrical problem (that I had suspected) in the garage and got an electrician there same day. Fritz was on site twice before the job, at least three times during the job, and, so far once after the job completed. Bid includes siding and a little electrical work, so am estimating the cost of the roofs.

+ -1 moreSince it wasn't my roof, I can't comment about the quality/value of the work, however, they did leave a nice big set of tire ruts in my lawn as they left. For whatever reason, they parked a trailer in my neighbors lawn, then proceeded to fill it up with the old roof. Obviously, when they finally moved it had sunk into the lawn and left two big tire ruts in my yard as well.
Description of Work: This company repaired my neighbors roof recently.

+ -1 moreI was referred to Adam at JT Enterprises by Arbor Homes who built my home. I had a piece of siding pulling off of my house. Adam came out the day after I spoke with him to look at the house. He put his ladder over my fence (in snow) climbed up and fixed the siding piece. He called me back to tell me he had fixed it, FREE OF CHARGE. He was very nice and polite. I will definitely call on them again if I need this type of service.

Description of Work: SIDING ON HOUSE DAMAGED/BLOWN OFF IN STORM. ESTIMATE GIVEN. AFTER ANOTHER STORM HIT THE SAME WEEK (BEFORE THE REPAIR), AN EMERGENCY TARP WAS INSTALLED WITHIN 1 HOUR OF CALL. SIDING REPAIRED/REPLACED AS SOON AS WEATHER PERMITTED.
