Jay gave me a fair estimate to do some plumbing work. He got a deposit for materials of 30%($600). Jay never returned to do the work. He wouldn't return calls. He was belligerent after I contacted the police and an attorney. He is not licensed to contract plumbing in Indiana. Avoid this man like the plague.

Jay Wallace and his fiance' Pamela Dunbar and Jay's brother Matthew Wallace represented themselves in advertisements and in person as licensed and certified (both plumber and HVAC) and as members of the Local 440 union - even though they are not licensed, not certified, nor members of the union. Additionally, they used a fictious corporation name and inappropriately charged sales tax on labor even though they do not have a Registered Retail Merchant Certificate required by the Indiana Department of Revenue. They quoted a price of roughly $1,000 to complete the work. They took $450 for materials as a deposit and claimed to have repeated personal problems that prevented them from completing the work. Even though it was their personal problems which prevented them from doing the work, they refuse to return my deposit.
