Everything went well. Steve is a conscientious and very clean worker. He let my husband and I know what was happening each step of the way. Also, he ended up being here a little longer than the 2 hours paid for. He didn't charge anymore although we would have paid the extra. I will definitely call him again for other jobs.

OUT-standing!!! Steve is extremely professional, highly skilled, very polite & has a very strong eye for fine detail work. He was very responsive to my situation. He took the time to do it correctly. (Looking back, I should have paid him to pull the toilet out of the way. ) He didn't complain about it-despite the fact it complicated things for him & forced him to put in several hours he hadn't included in his price quote. He didn't say a word re changing the original price quote-despite the fact the job took him longer than he expected it to. I was very happy to give him a $izeable tip. Yes, really. He was more than worth it & very grateful. THIS is the kind of guy I've been looking for-honest, reliable, professional, highly skilled, well experienced, very polite. I won't hesitate to refer him to anyone I know. I'm making a list of some other things I need to get done. I won't hesitate to call him again.

Steve was very understanding of my desire to retro-fit the trim to the original style since we own an old house. He was very thorough with the details and getting it right. Nice guy as well!

Very well. Steve was responsive to my needs regarding time what came first on my list. He noted a couple of things I was not aware of that needed adjustments and took care of them efficiently.

Fantastically well! Steve is the best worker ever. I cannot say enough good things about this man. He is the hardest worker ever, and I can trust him 100%. He is very thorough with the work he does, and is trustworthy and extremely competent, good at knowing what he can or cannot handle; great problem solver. We have used him for over a year now, and we are so impressed with his work! He is so honest and so great at what he does! Love that we have him to help us now as we just cannot do all the things that need doing on our own. Steve takes the initiative to do a job and make sure it is well done. No need to worry about the quality of work done- it is top notch and above and beyond that of anyone I have ever used on Angie's List.

He was here 8 hours to install the railing. He worked very slowly and did the job exactly as I wanted. It was amazing! He was wonderful! He cleaned everything up, too! You would have never known he was there!

Steve did a beautiful job on the wood stairs and quickly replaced the old light fixture. He's a very good, experienced workman.

Steve is hard-working and his work ethic and attention to detail is impressive. He did a fantastic job removing staples and carpet padding from an entire house that has beautiful hardwood floors. The stapling was pretty extensive in some rooms, and I sure wish carpet installers of old had known not to slam down thousands of staples directly into hardwood floors! But Steve did a fantastic job carefully removing all of the staples without harming the hardwoods, even though it took all day and must have been completely exhausting. It was really hard to see some of them, which were only caught when the vacuum ran into them, so it was a lot of work. He also replaced some second story floodlight lamps and we discussed other projects I have in the works, large and small, so I will definitely be calling Steve again! Thanks, Steve!

Stephen is highly professional, trustworthy, and reliable. He is also responsive, very thorough and takes great pride in his work. I would highly recommend his services if you want the job done right!!

What can I say about Steve? He is AWESOME. And I don't say that lightly, having hired dozens of trades over 20+ years. Another of my contractors had an emergency, leaving me in a bind at the last moment, as tack strip removal needed to be done before the next trade comes in the next week. So I checked Angie's List. Steve to the rescue! He responded very quickly to my online request, fortunately happened to have an opening the next day, and met me at the appointed location. The job was larger than we both expected, I think, but he worked tirelessly for many hours, taking only one small break. I was seriously impressed with his work ethic, his patience, and his energy. He was careful with the surroundings and the floor too, which was important to me. He managed to remove the tack strips and carpet/tack strips even under a cabinet that had been unwisely built over the carpet in prior years by the original owner. Then he shimmed the legs up, and made it work. It was a laborious process. He must have been exhausted! During the time he was there, I asked him about the potential of doing several other sorts of tasks. He was quite honest about what was in his area and what he had not done before, which I appreciated! Thanks, Steve! Excellent job! I will definitely call you again.

Excellent overall experience. Stephen was responsive through Message Center communication and was able to schedule a Saturday on a week's notice. He reached out 15 minutes prior to our scheduled time to let me know he was on his way. He was able to identify the framework behind plaster walls to determine the most secure way of installing the mount and did so in a timely fashion considering the mount I provided wasn't the best fit. He was fair and professional. I will use again in the future.

Fantastic! Steve is a great person to work with. He does an excellent job of whatever task he does. He made the deck look like new. We had another person do this some years ago, and it was not done correctly. Steve came and redid it and it just looks great. He installed two ceiling fans for us and they work perfectly. He also did clean up after the installs so that I did not come home to find a mess all over. He picks up after himself. He is very courteous and respectful when he is here in my home doing work. I asked him to be mindful not to let the cats out, and he was good about this. The quality of the work he did in the shower is just amazing. It looks like new! He is going to do more work for us as we find him to be very excellent and trustworthy. I would rate him as a 10 out of 10. Fabulous workmanship, and very honest work ethics. Great person to use!

Everything was done well, he was very pleasant and polite and did a good job.

Outside, Steve worked on several projects including repairing 2 fence gates that also needed replacement boards, re-attaching a 2nd floor shutter (and he spot painted it too), and put a full window screen in on a 2nd floor (had to be done from the outside). Steve also cut down a couple of very thick honeysuckle at the root (I had already cutback the branches). Inside, Steve put up 6 curtains rods and 1 picture that was a bit tricky because of where it was placed. Steve was very professional, making helpful suggestions. Originally was scheduled for 1 day but because the gate repair was more extensive than anticipated once he got into it, he returned to finish the remainder of my list on a second day. I would definitely recommend Steve for your handyman needs and will be calling on him again.

Steve did a great (albeit very hot and sweaty) job of climbing up into our attic and onto our roof to fix some venting damaged by birds. He replaced the old plastic exterior vents with metal ones that had built-in bird guards, and repaired the ducting in the attic that led to the vents. He also replaced the day/night sensor on our street lamp so the light isn't running at odd hours (or never tuning off for some days). He was very friendly, helpful, and professional. There's no question if we'll hire him again - we already have! He will be returning for a couple more projects in the near future.

It went well. He was professional and paid attention to the job at hand. Overall I was pleased.

He is knowledge and responsible

It looked to me like it was a difficult project, judging by effort he put into replacing the threshold. Well worth the $$ spent IMO as it turned out PERFECT! Great workmanship!

He found a provider for the wall niche, very good application for the job. We ordered it (free shipping) and he installed it after expanding the opening to fit our reques for size. Very professional from all aspects.

Steven easily recovered the necklace that had fallen down the drain and then offered to properly mount the sink against the wall. It was loose before. He investigated the mediocre performance of our bathroom exhaust fan and told us that whomever had installed it did not give it proper airflow in our attic. Upon further investigation, he even found standing water in one of the exhaust pipes. He fixed the piping issue, and the fan works much more effectively. He also replaced some light fixtures and electrical sockets in a couple of closets for us.

Steve was excellent to work with. He was always time, professional, and completed every project.

Steve was great. Polite, friendly, punctual, and thorough. So glad to find someone like him. Will be calling him for all home improvement repairs I have a need for in the future.
