My husband and I had new casement windows installed throughout our home in the Fall of 2012. Immediately after the new windows were installed, we had Larry out to our home to give us an estimate for window treatments for a large portioin of our home. A co-worker, who had received a referral from Angie's List for Larry/Indy Decor several years ago, recommended Larry highly. I called Larry and we scheduled a time to come out within about a week, on a Saturday, which is important to me, as it meant that my husband and I didn't have to take time away from work to meet with Larry. Larry was punctual and helpful in terms of assisting us with window treatment options, based on our criteria and budget. We decided to order blinds for two-thirds of our home that morning. We also scheduled a delivery/installation date (a Saturday), based on the date Larry believed he would have the blinds from the manufacturer. Within approximately two weeks, Larry came out and not only delivered, but installed our new blinds. We absolutely love the blinds and as soon as budget constraints allowed, we had Larry back out a couple of weeks ago so we could order blinds for the rest of the house. Larry made the entire process of shopping for window treatments pain free and pleasant for us and we got to shop in the comfort of our home, in the presence of the very rooms/windows to be treated. In terms of pricing, we found that Larry's prices were better than the big box store prices on window treatments. Plus Larry delivers and installs the product quickly and efficiently around your schedule. We are 100% satisfied with Larry/Indy Decor as our personal window treatment professional.

I saw reviews and comments and decided this would be the first we would try for new window coverings for our house. We are very glad we did. I called and Larry set up an appointment for the next evening. He came out and talked to us and showed us various options. He was very professional and well knowledge in his products. We weren't able to purchase everything we wanted but we were able to cover the windows especially needed and extremely happy with the results. Once the shades were in, Larry came out and installed them. They look great and we are so very happy. We will call Larry again when ready to finish the other windows.

Our living room has three windows in one casing making it difficult to purchase and install three independent blinds correctly using only one valance. Our dining room has tray ceilings and I wanted to find a blind that could double as curtains yet have a modern look. Larry came to our house promptly. He spent a lot of time showing samples and suggesting options that would work with both rooms while still keeping an eye on the budget. The blinds arrived in three weeks as promised and he installed them quickly. He was able to accomplish three blinds on one valance for our living room while ensuring each blind would operate independently. Larry suggested and installed Silhouette blinds for the dining room, which are beautiful. They have fabric vanes suspended within two sheers to diffuse light coming in the room to add privacy while retaining the ability to see outside. I did not need to purchase other window treatments for either of these windows since the blinds were a perfect touch. I would definitely recommend Indy Decor for any decorating needs. Larry is easy to work with, friendly and professional. Because he owns the business, he takes more care and pride in his work than other stores. The price was very competitive for the quality of work. I am very happy with the new blinds and Larry's personal attention and service.

Larry was great to work with. It was easy to schedule the consultation. He was prompt and spent the time to help me determine what I wanted (I was not sure myself). The blinds came in within the timeframe he set out and scheduling the install was easy. He had them up in about an hour and they look great!

Many kudos to Larry. I purchased window treatments from him about two years ago of which I am most satisfied. Every now and then these blinds become off-center. I call the business regardless of time, whereupon my call is returned the same day and Larry comes out the next day to correct the situation. This is a very responsible and service minded business which I highly recommend and will use again.

Larry came out and showed us our choices as we where trying to come up with a better way of doing the blinds on a working door He really knows his bussiness came up with an economical way of doing it with professional results What a difference. I own a local Bussiness and understand Customer Service' Larry is a Good Man doing a Honest Bussiness Why would anyone use anyone else ?

They did a good job but I signed the contract before getting other bids that were over $500 dollars less.

We began by getting quotes from 5 of Angie's top-rated companies. You would recognize the names of most of them as they advertise heavily and offer "discounts." We let all 5 estimators tell us what they had available and for the most part they were all selling the same products from the same companies. We were quickly able to focus on a particular sort of treatment so that all of the companies were submitting bids on essentially the same product. Larry's quote was the lowest by far. Not just a couple of bucks, but real, substantial savings. The highest bidder would have charged us more than twice what we ended up paying. You can tell from what Indy Decor did for us that Larry spent a lot of time on us and gave us a lot of attention. He did it all without complaint or criticism and let us know at every turn that he supported us and had no problem with making the return visits. He also knew from the outset that is bid would be lowest, but he semed surprised when, late in the process, we told him how much more the other companies would have charged. He evidently operates on a more modest profit margin than his competition does, but even so he never expressed any problem making the return visits we asked of him. Once again we saw the benefit of getting bids -- and letting the service providers know that we are doing that and that we subscribe to, and write reports for, Angie's list!

Larry was very easy to reach initially to schedule an in-home estimate. He was friendly, professional and honest. He provided great work! He called the morning of the appointment and said he could come early if convenient. I appreciated the call and the earlier appointment time. I would highly recommend Indy Decor/Larry if you are looking for quality work with a competitive price. The fact that he is an independent owner made the experience even better than calling a chain and getting half of the quality for double the price.

It was great. They were right on time. He is very efficient. I really liked what he advised we should do with the decoration.

I have used Indy Decor to provide blinds for our enclosed porch, translucent shade for a kitchen window, and a huge shade to facilitate TV viewing in a family room. All were measured, ordered, deivered, and installed exactly as desired. Lary is prompt, professional, and easy to work with.

I called, set up an appointment with Larry to look at samples. He placed the order and returned a couple of weeks later with blinds and installed them.

From start to finish everything thing went well. The blind had to be custom made and came in when he said it would.

We have recently moved to Greenwood and have a brand new house. I wanted to get basic window treatments that co-ordinated with the whole house. We live in a sub-division with fairly close neighbors, so privacy was an issue. I also wanted to be able to control the amount of light easily through out the house. I found Indy Decor on Angie's List and contacted them by email before we had even moved. I received a prompt, professional and friendly reply. I called Larry, the owner per his instructions after we moved and set up a convenient time for him to come and give me some ideas as well as an estimate. I was very pleased with his suggestions and discussed various options. I finally decided on 2 inch horizontal faux-wood blinds. He took all the measurements, gave me the estimate and we agreed on a delivery/installation date. He came at the appointed time and had the blinds all installed with in an hour. They look beautiful and work well. They fit well and really add to the quality of our home. Larry is not only professional and knowledgable but friendly as well. I would highly recommend him.

Larry answered my first call to schedule and appointment - he was in the middle of an appointment and offered to call me right back, which he did promptly. We discussed what I was looking to get and scheduled an appointment that worked with my schedule. He was accommodating to come in the evening after I got off work. Larry showed up on time and I showed him the bedrooms -- he brought up his sample books and he pointed me to a few option that matched the style of my home and interest. He answered all of my questions and was able to give me an estimate on the spot, including my AL discount. We told Larry we wanted to think about it for a day or so as the estimate was a tad higher than I originally thought but I really liked the product we chose so the price ended up not mattering. We never heard back from Larry, no follow up call. We still don't have any window treatments -- I thought we would have heard from him.

Larry is very flexible and knowledgeable. Given our budget , he worked with us on the price and colors. The shades are fabulous. He also didnt charge us to fix the broken cords. Transactions was smooth, timely and hassle free. Quality work! Thanks Larry.

When I called and left a message for Larry to have him come out for an estimate, he called back within a couple of minutes. it was all uphill from there! He helped us choose exactly what worked for the room, which was different from what we originally had in mind (bamboo shades). I'm so glad he was able to advise us, because the blinds we ended up getting (cellular) work perfectly for this room. They let us see entire window, so we retained our great view. He suggested we get the kind that move from the top down or bottom up, and we have used this feature a lot more than we thought we would. I highly recommend Larry - he's delightful to work with, knows his stuff, and is dog-friendly too (a big plus in my house).

You will not find a nicer guy to work with than Larry. He comes when he says he will, does his work efficiently and quickly, cleans up so you don't even know he is here and provides a very good product. He even helped us move a grand piano so he would have access to one of the windows. We have worked with Larry before and find him to be a most genial and pleasant person to work with. We used someone else in another house and were less than satisfied. We won't go anywhere else but Indy Decor again!

Once again, this vendor exceeded my expectations. He showed up promptly, gave me an honest quote, then worked with me on some scheduling problems during install. The product as always was well made, reasonably priced and expertly installed. This is the only call you need to make for window coverings.
