+ -1 moreMeeting with Phil, was great. He told me that i should get his quote the next day. Based on that, we will likely go with ICI, for a spring project of '18. They have also done work in the neighborhood, with positive results.
Description of Work: Needing a 27 yr. old exposed aggregate driveway repaired. Last year at this time i asked if someone could provide an estimate, as i was considering doing the job this past summer. Phil Hodges came out, knowing it was a long term objective of the homeowner. While i was unable due to health concerns this year to engage ICI, i liked what they had quoted. I asked again for an estimate, and Phil came out today to discuss in detail. I wanted to make sure my expectations were reality. He was responsive for an 8am meeting. He was professional, and i felt, honest with what he was telling me; so as to eliminate any of the "what happens if" situations. He knows his product, and made some really good suggestions. We look forward to working with ICI in the spring of 2018 for this job. I would recommend anyone considering concrete work to at least give ICI a call for an estimate. It would be worth your time for what i believe will be a fair, and professional project.

+ -1 moreWe had several quotes for the job. Indianapolis concrete was not the lowest but they were by far the most professional and we felt confident the job would be done right. We were not disappointed. Our project manager Josh was responsive to our needs (and worked around the schedule of our pool installation team). We had on-site meetings with the crew and made decisions on drainage and concrete height. Some advice and review of pictures helped us pick the perfect color and stamp for our yard as well.
Description of Work: Approximately 1200sqft stamped 2-color concrete patio and surround for pool was added. Included removal of old concrete sidewalk, grading of existing ground.

+ 0 moreContractors showed up on time, seemed to be subcontracted workers however they were professional and got the work done. A fence post was knocked out of square when the driveway was poured and they came out and tore out a section of the slab to fix it at no additional cost. The end result looks great.

We had lots of questions regarding timing of the stain (2-3 days work), price, and whether it would be able to withstand some water damage (yes). Overall, we found Phil very knowledgeable and friendly. Will post another review after they've finished the job. Would highly recommend!

+ 0 moreOf the three concrete firms we contacted Indianapolis Concrete was the only one that followed through with an estimate for this small project. Great communication from Phil, Josh, and office staff. The project date was moved up by a couple of days, and all this was communicated to me in a timely manner. In fact, Josh called the day before and said that they were slightly behind because of weather and would be out on Tuesday to do the prep work and would pour Wednesday, but when I got home from work Tuesday the project was done! We will use Indianapolis Concrete to replace walkway and sections of driveway in the future.
Description of Work: We had a small-ish (just big enough for a car to park on) area adjacent to our driveway that needed to be paved, and wanted to incorporate a ramp to our shed.

During that he was able to get everything measured (based on stakes that were already there), written up, and then once my call was over we went over the bid. He patiently explained the process when I had questions. The price on the unofficial estimate is fair and they have availability during the time frame we'd need them.
Description of Work: We needed a bid for the concrete foundation for a new workshop we're in the planning stages for.
