Description of Work: A large Bradford Pear tree was trimmed to be more symmetrical. One ash tree was trimmed to back to prevent squirrels from using it as a launching point to get on the roof of the house. A binding cable was installed between the two main branches of a tall, slender maple tree to prevent the tree from splitting in a high wind. All limbs and debris were removed and the work area was cleaned.

Description of Work: We had used this company a couple years ago to trim all our trees. A few weeks ago, there was this "tree guy" going down the street and giving out estimates. That person said we needed this and that done. I called Indiana Tree Service and asked if they would come out and see if our trees truly needed what this guy said we needed. A Robert came out within a few days and walked around our property with my wife and I. He said all our trees looked in good condition. There was one tree Robert agreed with that had root rot. Robert said to see how it did this year. He said one of our trees in the front that could use a trim, which we thought it did, too, and had Robert come back and take care of. Robert also gave us some suggestions for a tree we were replacing up by our house.

Description of Work: Cut down a HUGE old cherry tree and ground the stump, ground a small old spruce tree stump, took down a mulberry branch overhanging a power line and cleaned low hanging dead branches from a large spruce tree, clearing all debris.

Description of Work: We had a large old willow tree removed from our yard, and the stump ground out. We also had dead limbs removed from a number of other trees, and trimmed branches that were hanging over the neighbor's fence.

Description of Work: I had four trees removed. One was hanging into my neighbor's tree. They were very careful to not harm the neighbor's tree while they worked. They originally thought they would have to climb the neighbor's tree, but by cutting down a dead limb off of another one of my trees they were able to get their truck back there. They hauled away all of the mess including some branches that had fallen previously. They even swept up the sawdust. It was a very hot day the day of my appointment and they actually arrived about two hours earlier than expected. Their estimate was about $200 less than a competitor's and they offered a $50 coupon for using Angie's List. My only complaint was that at the time of setting up the service and when they arrived, I told two different men to please leave the lower part of my broken tree because my daughter had a favorite hanging brach that hangs over our small creek. I spoke to the man in charge on the day of the service and he didn't get a chance to tell the other workers before they lobbed it off. My three-year-old was very upset, but mistakes happen. All in all I was very pleased with their service.

Description of Work: We had a very big red oak tree (about 60 ft tall) that was kind of dying and had a lot of dead branches and we were afraid it was going to fall during a big storm. They cut the tree down and grinded the stump. They got here early in the morning at around 7:30am and worked all day until it was all finished at 8:30pm. The day they came it was about 105 degrees outside. They worked at it, taking a few breaks here and there and did a great job. They cleaned up everything when they were done. Very pleased with the work performed.

They have done general tree trimming, ground stumps and removed trees that have fallen, and removed brush for us. They always come out promptly for estimates, arrive when they're scheduled to arrive, and do good work at a reasonable price.

Description of Work: They removed 6 trees from our backyard to make room for a fence, trimmed large branches off our enormous silver maple, and raised the canopies on our sugar maple and tulip tree in the front yard.

Description of Work: Thinned and Raised the Canopy 8 feet and haul debris. Tree is 17 years old.Cut all bushes 2 foot high and lowered dead pines and raised the canopy and hauled debris.
