Very prompt return of phone call for repair service on two Hunter Douglas pleated window shades. Picked up shades from our home on Friday; returned and installed the following Monday. Shades work like new! Courteous, friendly service - plus saved a ton of $$ by not having to replace the shades!

it went very well,he had to make couple of trips but he never complained about it.His friend David was equally good,he did all the measurements and came back for installation.

We had a fantastic experience as we thought we might have to replace the huge window blinds but not only did the company repair and clean them but they did so for a great price. The amount of work required was significant and should have cost much more.

Todd was personable and very responsive. I called late in the afternoon to get pricing information and he was at my house less than 2 hours later to pick the shade up. He would have had the shade returned in less than 48 hours if I had been available. The shade works perfectly again. He restrung the entire shade, not just the strings that had broken. He gave it new hardware, too. I also paid $30 to have the shade cleaned to see what the results would look like. It does look cleaner and smells very fresh. It would likely be more noticeable if shades are not regularly cleaned by a homeowner, but I probably wouldn't have it done again. Great experience overall. I will use him again.

Shutters look great. Todd was not only on time but early. He wasn't the lowest bid but he noticed a detail to not obstruct the tilt-in windows that his competitor did not. It was that attention to detail that made the difference and would have been a huge problem had he not. After the installation, I asked for a modification that he had no hesitation to make. It's wonderful to work with people who take pride in what they do and have integrity.

We purchased double cell blinds from JC Penney's for 17 windows--it was going to be time consuming to measure, level and install the blinds. We received a call back within 5 minutes of visiting their website and leaving a request for immediate service. All of the blinds were changed out and installed that same day by TODD SMITH and his helper. We eventually discovered he does installation work for JC Penney. He definitely knows what he was doing and finished job in 2 hours. Everything was cleaned up by them before they left. Would DEFINITELY recommend them to anyone.

About a month ago I was going through the July Angie’s List Magazine and saw the ad in the coupon section. Indiana Blinds & Shutters. I phoned, Todd Smith came over and looked at it. He thought it might be repaired since it was a Hunter-Douglas product. He took it down and away. A week later he was back. He put it back up and it works beautifully. He SAVED us about $400. A new one would have cost over $500. The repair work cost us $120.

This company did an excellent job on installing the shutters. They came out in a timely manner and measured the windows. The installers came out and installed the shutters when scheduled. Everything went perfectly.

This company is extremely punctual and easy to work with. Todd was pleasant and knowledgeable. My blinds came in early and he installed them the day after he received them. They look great. We may be having the window replaced, and he has offered to come over and remove and reinstall the blind if necessary. I would recommend him to everyone.

They were great. When the blinds came in, the people installing were very careful and punctual. They did a super job. I had no complaints about how they did the job.

I was very impressed with both Todd and Dan. Todd was very efficient at explaining my choices and measuring all the windows. Dan installed all the blinds in record time. I couldn't be more pleased with the result. I will definitely be calling them for vertical blinds on my new patio door when it is installed. Great job!

I found this company on Angie's List. They gave me a percentage off of my total bill for being a member. They came to my home, measured and brought samples. I like that I was able to compare the samples to my furniture, wood work, and wall color. The installers were very professional. The blinds are beautiful and they are easy to care for.

I called Todd on a Monday to set-up an appointment to have him come to our home and provide us with information and an estimate on new blinds. I must say he was able to get us an appointment for Thursday, which was great! However, the service and professionalism from this point on was extremely poor. Todd was about 5 minutes late when he arrived at our home. He walked in and I took him to an area where he could lay all of his materials and various selections of blinds. As soon as he had his things laid out he informed me that he had to be at another appointment by 4:00 and didn't have a lot of time to spend with me. At this point it was around 3:40. He told me to start showing him the areas I wanted blinds and then he started measuring. There was not a very through explanation of the different blinds/shades he offered or their quality. I was also concerned about where they would be placing the blinds because I have beautiful wood trim on the inside and outside of my windows and I wanted to ensure it would not be damaged during this process. He did not take the time to throughly explain to me how the blinds would be installed, but continued to rush around and measure and have me take him from room to room. Less than 20 minutes later he was walking out the door and said he would have me an estimate by the end of the night, but no later than Friday. It has now been almost a week and I have not received an estimate or a phone call. I have read the blogs that were provided on Todd and Indiana Blinds on Angie's List and it is unfortunate that I did not have the same experience that all of the other customers received. I will not being using Todd's services or be recommending him to any friends or family. His idea of rushing in and telling me he only had a little bit of time was very unprofessional and also disrespectful of my personal time. And then to top it all of there was never an estimate provided or any time of follow-up. I have chosen someone else to complete my work.

We could not be happier with the service we received. No high-pressure sales, no steering toward more expensive products, just honest advice and a good product at a fair price. We are very pleased with how our blinds and shades look and were very happy with the entire process.

They did a good job and had great attention to detail. They showed up when they said they would. When they were finished they did not have to come back to repair any of the work because they did it right the first time. I would use this company again.

Todd is amazing! This is the second time this year we have used him and I appreciate his enthusiasm, desire to please and overall approach to running his business...in short, he's a great guy!

Contacted Todd at Indianablinds.com who guided me the most honest way possible. He wasn't interested in misguiding me or trying to sell me something from his company that I didn't need. He guided me to a home improvement store for the blinds. He was even honest and up front that this was the most cost efficient way to get exactly what I needed. To me sometimes not contracting with a company a person can have just as positive experience when you meet an honest business person. Now in the future when I need blinds/shutters of any kind, Todd will be the first guy I call.

Todd is very friendly and accommodating in his business dealings. I was in the process of having custom curtains made and really wanted the blinds to be installed before the curtains were hung. I procrastinated in getting Todd to the house to measure and get our order processed. He expedited both our order and installation. I was also impressed that the gentleman that came to install the blinds put coverings over his shoes while walking in the house and cleaned up any mess that was made.

It was an absolute pleasure working with Todd. He had a good variety of products and was price competitive. The installer was very polite and professional.

Todd measured each window, suggested color choice, and ordered the blinds immediately. They were in within about 2 weeks and they promptly installed them. They look and work great. They keep the room light while cutting out the intense sun and heat. I expect they will also keep the room warmer in winter.

Todd (the owner) did an excellent job measuring--very prompt, friendly--and delivered an extremely competitive price. When the blinds were installed there was some miscommunication about what type of blinds were supposed to go in our daughter's bedroom--we thought we had ordered blackout blinds but instead ordered light filtering ones. Todd was extremely gracious and promptly addressed the issue, re-ordering blackout blinds, no questions asked. We were incredibly impressed by his commitment to service as I would not really expect a vendor to be so accommodating in a situation like this. We could not recommend a friendlier, more competent service than Indiana Blinds. They will be our choice for any future work in this area.

From start to finish, Todd was an absolute pleasure to work with. He's fun, energetic and just a pleasure to be around. I highly recommend them (and I see why they are a Super Service Award Winner)!
