ICC FLOORS

There were a couple of boards that popped and a few gaps last month. We contacted ICC Floors to schedule service. John Rodriguez was our contact person. He went above and beyond with setting up a time and making sure we were satisfied with the work. The board was replace but, since it was moved it caused several gaps. I contacted John and he set up a time for that same week for someone to come out. The gaps were filled and they also added molding to finish it off. The work was completed at no charge.

They were exceptional in helping me. For the product I received I couldn't beat their prices anywhere else.

The carpet continued to get little wrinkles over the years. We were dealing with some really major medical problems and some other issues in our lives and the carpet just took a back seat; had to. When I called Mike Dugan, our original salesperson, This January, 2007, he returned the phone call within the hour. He assured me that this was a rare situation, the platinum backing was supposed to prevent wrinkling, and they would take care of it. Several more phone calls, a manager coming to the home to look, and then carpet men to our door to re-stretch the carpet- all within 48 hours! KUDOS to ICC Flooring for absolutely GREAT Customer Service. It doesn't get any better than this. YEAS! We will use them again as we have 3 more rooms to do yet.

Talk about your disasters! 1)The job took significantly longer than promised because they didn't send enough people to do it then ran out of materials before they could finish. 2)The finished floor is extremely uneven, creaks (they told me it wouldn't), and is starting to gap. 3)They scratched my floor badly in 2 places and put furniture over it so I wouldn't notice. 4)The installers lost one of the antique grates to my heating vents. 5) They left gaps between the flooring and the walls that were so wide my new molding wouldn't cover them. 5)And I could go on and on.

Andrea was great to work with. While she was late for the measurements, she did call to let me know and apologized. She was timely in getting the estimate back to me. I was pleased with the service and quality of their products. I ultimately made the decision based on cost. I received a slightly different type of carpet for $800 less than this estimate.

The sales rep Dave Little came out September 26th to measure and provide quote. When we gave the go ahead he placed the order. He called a few days later to say that the carpet was on back order till October 16th. As promised, October 17th they called to say that the carpet was in stock and set up a time to install. Fernando and assistant were super workers, polite and very careful with the walls and existing flooring during the install. They finished up in 6 hours and were on their way. I received a phone call from the field rep an hour after they left asking if everything was great. Yes !! Then later in the evening Dave Little called to ask if the install was to our satisfaction. Yes !! I highly recommend ICC and the entire staff to do your next flooring job.

Was having a great sale which lured me into the facility. Nice selection and great salesman (Tony) who is very responsive and helpful. Decided to go with another company whose prices were lower even for not being on sale.

The service experience was not good. I asked for help with selecting tiles, and the design of the backsplash and was not given much attention. My impression was if I had a bigger job, I may have received better service. They were not super flexible with getting samples back either, and I wanted them in 2-3 days maximum. Their minimum labor charge is $400.

Price was very reasonable and service was excellent. Had to call them back for a few minor repairs--strip from carpet to laminate hallway was loose and carpet pad was noisy at seam. They came out promptly, were very courteous and even repaired something that was done by another company. The installers were also very courteous, cleaned up and put everything back where it was. I would use this company again.

ICC Floors was very helpful and professional all the way through the purchase and installation process. Andy Fouts, our salesperson, took the time to explain what types of flooring would work on our concrete slab. He also explained their process of prepping the slab to insure good adhesion of the flooring after glue-down. Andy came out and measured the area and promptly emailed back an estimate for our approval. The flooring installers were on time and very professional in all aspects of the job. Their supervisor came to our home or checked in regularly with my husband to be sure that everything was being done to our satisfaction. We were given an estimate of 3 days to complete the work due to the prep work needed on the concrete slab but the installers were able to complete it in 2 days without cutting corners or rushing. All of our questions and concerns were addressed promptly. Overall we were very happy with the whole process from start to finish. We would use them again.

They did a beautiful job. The price was fair. They did very professional work. No complaints. When we noticed chips on a few tiles and they repaired them at no charge.

I called ICC Floors for hardwood floor refinishing. They describe themselves as a full service flooring company. They note that they use subs for installation. They don't actually do refinishing either. They sub it out to some "guy". They explained that they were really a new floor installation company. I use Angie's List extensively for all of my home needs. Any comments about ICC would not apply to some "guy" since he is not an employee, so there is really no point in ICC Floors to list refinishing as a service. Note: They were very polite. I just recommend that they change their business description or make it clear that refinishing is not done by ICC.

Andy Fouts set up the job and worked with me on timing between when carpet was pulled up by another company and when painters were to be in afterward. The contractor that did the work in my absence did a very good job of creating beautiful wood flooring from what was ugly carpet. They did a great job of cleaning up the mess inside the house. I would recommend them for my future flooring needs.

Ran into several problems, such as structural crack in cement and extra hardened cement type glue on old tile. Took longer to remove tile and old cement, but still stayed within original estimate. Walled off the area with plastic sheating to cut down on the amount of dust generated. Thoroughly cleaned when finished.

I shopped several Flooring companies and ICC provided the best value. Amanda Smith has been a delight to work with. She has given me great ideas that will work within my budget. I have required a lot of her time and she is always patient, delightful and always willing to spend as much time as I need. They have a wonderful selection of tile, stone, carpet and hardwood. We are using all materials in our home. I can't wait to see it installed.

Responded promptly to request for estimate - completed work quickly and did beautiful job - cannot tell where boards were replaced - very reasonable price for the work done.

EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION AND RESPONSIVENESS. WORK DONE IN A MATTER OF DAYS. VERY CLEAN, PROFESSIONAL INSTALLERS.

JOB INCLUDED HAVING TO LEVEL A FLOOR THAT HAD A 2 INCH SLOPE. WORK WAS DONE VERY WELL AND ON TIME, AND INSTALLER VERY GOOD AT INSTALLING. FLOORING QUALITY ALSO TOP NOTCH. WORKED WELL IN TERMS OF SCHEDULING AND AROUND OTHER CONTRACTORS, AS WELL AS PROMPTNESS. RECOMMEND THAT YOU DISCUSS INSTALLATION COSTS AND POTENTIAL REFUNDS BASED ON ESTIMATES FOR OVER CHARGES UP FRONT. APPEARS THAT BUSINESS ASPECT OF PRODUCTS AND INSTALLATION HANDLED SEPARATELY.

THE SHOWROOM WAS ATTRACTIVE, AND THERE WERE LOTS OF SALES PEOPLE AVAILABLE, BUT THE OVERALL FEELING WAS THAT IT WAS SOMEWHAT IMPERSONAL, AND PERHAPS NOT AS ACCOMMODATING AS IT COULD BE IN FINDING JUST THE RIGHT TILE FOR SUCH A LARGE JOB. THE ESTIMATOR WAS PREDICTABLE AND PROMPT, AND FRIENDLY, BUT IN THE END WE DECIDED TO GO WITH A SMALLER BUSINESS WHOSE BID WAS SIGNIFICANTLY LOWER.

WONDERFUL! THEY WERE ABLE TO SCHEDULE OUR FLOORS WITH ONLY A FEW DAYS NOTICE (USING WOOD THEY KEEP IN STOCK ALL THE TIME.) AND INSTALL THEM ALL IN ONE DAY. (SEVERAL CREWS SENT OUT AT THE SAME TIME.) THE GUYS WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND HANDLED OUR OLD (1800'S) HOUSE WITH CARE. THEY WERE NOT PERTURBED BY "OLD HOUSE" ISSUES. I CAN NOT SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT ANDREA KEECH, OUR SALESPERSON. SHE PULLED IT ALL TOGETHER AND WAS VERY HELPFUL.

THEY BROUGHT SAMPLES (FLOORING AND CARPETING)THEY WERE TIMELY AND PROFESSIONAL. ANDREA WAS REALLY A NICE LADY.

THE INSTALLER WAS TALENTED, ON TIME AND WORKED HARD TO GIVE ME THE BEST WORK POSSIBLE. HE RESEARCHED FOR THE BEST CHOICE OF TRANSITION STRIPS FOR MY EXACT SITUATION. HE INSTALLED IT CAREFULLY AND ACCURATELY, DIDN'T LEAVE A MESS BEHIND. THE ADMIN EMPLOYEES QUICKLY SCHEDULED THIS APPT FROM MY INITIAL CALL AND THEY CAME AND DID THE WORK WITHIN A WEEK OF MY CALL AND SCHEDULED AT MY CONVENIENCE. OVERALL, IT WAS A VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE AND SHOWED THEIR SUPPORT OF THEIR WORK.

THIS WAS A VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE. THEY SHOWED UP ON TIME, AND COMPLETED THEIR WORK ON TIME. EVERYTHING TURNED OUT GREAT.

EXCELLENT SELECTION AT SHOWROOM. TONY WAS EASY TO WORK WITH. INSTALLATION WAS SMOOTH. GREAT LOCALLY OWNED COMPANY.

I JUST CONSIDERED THIS AN AVERAGE PRICE. IT WAS NOT OUT OF LINE.
