ICC FLOORS

Dave is professional, prompt (in coming out to measure for the quote), answers questions, easy to work with, curteous. I would certainly work with him again if/when we replace carpet (which would not require other subcontracting work). ICC has a nice big showroom with lots of manufacturers and samples.

They were suppose to be here between 8 and 10am. They finally arrived about 10 after 10am which is fine. We were lead to believe by the sales representative that they would let us know at 8 o'clock their time frame. However, when they arrived they could not speak English so it was difficult to communicate. I was under the impression they had a great deal of experience but found out they did not and that they had only 1-3 years experience respectively. They used the street as the surface to cut the pieces which I found quite unprofessional. Overall I was quite dissatisfied with the experience.

We have used this company before and they did a great job so we went with them again. They gave us great recommendation for the flooring and accessories and trim. The bathroom looks great.

During a basement remodel I ran into a problem with the flooring company that was preferred by the basement contractor. The original company was going to be twice as much as I d expected and they did not seem to care or want to take the time to help me find alternative carpets that would work within my budget. So, I went on a desperate search for another carpet company that would be able to work within the construction schedule and take the time to work with me to pick the best carpet possible to fit within my budget. I scoured the list of companies on Angie s List and intended on visiting at least 3. My first and last stop was ICC floors. As with any flooring company, there is an overwhelming amount of carpet samples that stretches across the showroom floor. All I knew at that point was the style and approximate color that I was interested in. I was there for 5 minutes looking around when Mike Dugan asked if he could help me. I told him about my dilemma and in a flash he was immediately picking the best quality carpets and styles to fit within my budget. He asked if he could come out that afternoon to measure and I took home the carpet samples to see which one matched best. I told him the next day of my 1st, 2nd, and 3rd choices and he researched which one he could order and have delivered the quickest. He worked with my basement company to get it scheduled and the guys came in as if they were a part of the plan the whole time. I did not miss a beat in the schedule and I m so very pleased with my carpet. It is beautiful and I m deeply appreciative to Mike s kind attentiveness. I would recommend ICC flooring to anyone and will continue to use them in the future as we replace carpet in our home.

They were very nice and gave us tips on how to care for our floors, and they said that if they squeaked anymore they would come out and fix them. They did a wonderful job.

We wanted something very custom. We designed it and they worked very well with us. They did a good job and the overall finished product was great.

Shawn came to the house to submit an estimate for the work to be done. He was on time and friendly, yet professional. It was obvious after just a few minutes he knew his trade well. He gave me an estimate which I accepted. Shawn gave me a day that he could preform the work which was timely. He was on time the morning the work was to be done. I would use this company again and would highly recommend them to others.

Sean was very professional and thorough. We are very pleased with the flooring. I recently went back and purchased carpeting from him, which has not yet been installed.

I received a mailer advertising a carpet sale at ICC and went in prior to the sale day to see if I could get some carpet samples and pricing information. The sales people on the floor were very attentive and helpful in assisting me with selecting samples. However, they said they did not yet have any pricing info, as it was a factory direct sale, and they would have it just a few days before the sale. They said they could email me the pricing info on the carpets I had selected at that time. I emailed them at the appropriate time (the following week), asking for the pricing. Their sales person emailed back to say she'd have it the following day, but never did send the pricing info to me. I was hoping to get this project taken care of quickly and efficiently, but was disappointed in their non-response on sending me the info they had promised. I did not purchase my carpet from them.

I called ahead to ask if I could bring my small puppy to the showroom with me, because I could not leave her at home that day. They were friendly and consented. I walked into the showroom and was quickly greeted by the salesman/project manager. He asked me questions and guided me to flooring options that would meet my needs. I received the estimate from him in a reasonable amount of time. When the alarm company that paid for the flooring(because of a tear they made in the old floor)sent the check to ICC with no reference to me or my account, they worked with me to ensure that it was applied to my job. When I decided to change the flooring material I wanted to install, the project manager was again full of suggestions and quick to help. The installers were professional and did a great job. The finished floor looked great.

The sales person, Shawn Abrum, went beyond the average service. He worked very hard to find plates that cover the outlet that match the backsplash. They were very knowledgeable and thorough. The workers were polite and courteous and cleaned up after themselves.

They were great. We had some problems with the flooring installation. They came out right away and they checked up on it. They have excellent customer service.

It was a very Good, They listened to my needs and whenever I had a question they were very good to answer my question. Their prices were also very well priced. Very competitive.

Overall went very well. ICC Sales Rep helped with carpet samples. Workers moved all furniture for carpet installation and put furniture back in place. We are happy with our new carpet.

Overall we where pleased with final product. Positives was our ICC sales rep who helped with picking out tile and pointing out things to consider. Negatives no project manager on site to communicate to homeowners what workers would be doing. Workers would come to us with questions where a project manager should of been managing. Workers where nice but did not speak English and did not clean completely after demo. Also, told by sales rep. the grout used (relatively new product) did not need to be sealed but then project manager who came by house after we called said it needed to be sealed. We have requested ICC to come back and seal grout. Waiting on ICC to have someone come out and seal grout.

Installers arrived Tue. 16 Oct 2007, removed old carpet & pad including staples, then laid the new pad & carpet. When it was finished, we noticed a bump on the upstairs landing. A supervisor came to inspect and was also an excellent repair man. He pulled up the new carpet and repaired the damaged floor boards. The installers should have seen this, but he didn't worry about who was to blame. Instead, he fixed it at no charge. Two months later we noticed that the carpet interface to our kitchen floor had bound the floating floor, causing it to buckle. I called ICC Floors in Mar. 2008, and on 11 Mar. 2008 the same repair man came and redid the interface. He then worked the buckles/air pockets out of the floor and made it all look good again. ICC Floors did all this without charging me, even though it was 5 months after the initial install.

We looked a long time at many places for the right combination of selection, quality, and price. Initial mis-communication almost cost the deal, but we persisted. Tony provided an accurate estimate, made recommendations, and was clear on what would happen. The installers arrived on time and went straight to work. They worked hard and we agreed to have them work late one day to reduce completion time. The carpet did not meet the tile in the entry closets, so they found and installed a nice remnant. The supervisor checked in regularly, communicated regularly, and was responsive. Before they finished, he did a punch list and made sure all corrections were made. We did not have any tiles left, so we asked if they had a few just in case and they managed to scrounge a couple. After so many shoddy jobs with other businesses caused us to be very paranoid, we are glad we found ICC and worked through the communication snafu. We now have a beautiful floor and the stove is even level.

The work was done over 3 days. First they pulled off carpet from the floor and left the floor to dry overnight. Next day they laid the underfloor and the ceramic tiles. They also disconnected the toilet and a door before they laid the tiles. On the third day they filled the gaps with grout.

The installers did a very good job. hey came out in 2 different sets. The first set was better than the second, but overall the whole experience was very good.

THEY DIDN'T HAVE ANYTHING BUT SUGGESTED ANOTHER PLACE TO LOOK.

We had requested an estimate on the ICC Floors website and Tom called with an estimate based on our measurements. Several weeks later, I contacted him and arranged for him to come to the house to measure and provide a more accurate estimate. He arrived right on time and was very nice and professional. He took a look around, pulled up some existing carpet and made some notes. I asked him about the difference between solid wood and engineered floors. He was very knowledgeable and gave me a lot of good information. We ended up going with another company because of price but they were very competitive and I'd recommend at least getting an estimate from ICC.

Working with Dan during the sales part of the process went very well. He came out, made careful measurements, and then met us at the showroom to help us select materials. The hardwood installation went very well, although the installers arrived just at the end of the time frame given. The carpet installation was a problem. The installers (a different crew) arrived an hour and a half late. Just before 5PM, I got a call telling me that they didn't have enough carpet to finish the job. It turns out that the measurements were correct, but they didn't order enough of one kind of carpet. We also found that the installers damaged the wall at a pocket door in the family room. They rush-ordered the carpet, but it was difficult to get anyone to come out and evaluate the wall damage. They agreed to pay for the repairs, and did not charge for the "extra" carpet, but their installation coordinator didn't do much more than placate us for days, delaying the resolution.

They were very patient in the design stage. Excellent workmanship. Everything turned out they way they said it would at the price they quoted. The finished product is the best looking part of our house now.

They have a great quality product for minimal money.

The sales representative Dave Little came out and quoted the job and it came in right on the nose. Dave is very courteous and prompt. The installation was performed within a few days of the tile arriving at ICC. Four men came out to install the flooring and they were done in 2 hours. Shawn, Larry, Brandon and Cuerts did an outstanding job on the floors. They cleaned up the area very well. I've used ICC on previous carpet jobs and this was my first tile job with them. I will most certainly have ICC do my next flooring project.
