HOWE RESIDENTIAL SERVICES

It was a horrible experience. The toilets were not installed properly and were loose. He was supposed to paint the porch and ended up using the wrong paint. It rained soon after he painted and because he did not use the proper paint the sides of the porch started bubbling. When he connected the drain pipe for kitchen sink he did not check to see if it was working properly which it was not. It was leaking and he said he did not have a snake to test it out. When he installed the sink into the counter tops he did not caulk around it at all. It took him three weeks to complete the work because he was always busy working on other projects. When I brought up the concerns about the poor work he told this is how we do things in the United States and that I should go back to India.

Steve was very easy to work with. We had an idea of what we wanted so he presented drawings to us and after a few revisions, we decided on dimensions and how it would be configured. As the project moved along, Steve communicated with us and modifications were made as needed. He was reliable and cleaned up after each days work. We are very happy with the final project and we have already called him again for our next project.

They were fantastic. They were on time and incredibly clean. They used to pick all their stuff everyday after their work and they protected the carpet from becoming dirty. He adjusted the rack downwards when he couldn’t do some of the work. They did a fantastic work. They are very reliable and they do a great work. I would rate them high overall. I would definitely use them in the future if needed.

Their estimate was slightly low than some other estimates that we got. We wanted some carpet in the room and he didn?t do carpets. We opted not to go with him.

Overall Steve is fast, efficient, professional, personable, honest, friendly and GOOD! If you can't do it Call Steve! He has even come out and given advice for free.

I originally made contact with Steve last year. After some unexpected delays, I contacted him again this year. We started where we left off, and he had a great attitude. Together we composed the list of materials needed. Because I wanted something very specific, the amount above does not include materials, for which I spent about $2,300. Steve offered many helpful suggestions to help me find the exact shower base with seat and it took some time to do so. We did not hit the projected time frames, which were not his fault. We had delays with obtaining the shower base and shower door, both of which were special ordered. He worked without disrupting our living areas as much as possible. He installed plumbing pipes (moved them to opposing wall for operation ease), shower head, shower base w/seat, diagonal patterned tiles on wall/floor, vanity, lights, fan and toilet. He finished and painted all areas last week and it looks great. Throughout the work, he checked with me to make sure that everything looked as it should and to be sure was happy with it. He has since installed a light fixture also. Next week, he will begin drywall work, wood repair and painting on my sister's home.

We were extremely pleased with the quality of Steve's work and his professionalism. He was able to work within our budget, around our schedule, and completed the work in less time than quoted by other contractors.

He did respond promptly that he does not usually work that far north. He did offer to ask around the people he knows to see if someone else might be interested. That is appreciated.

Steve Howe did an excellent job on a difficult remodel! He built a new tile shower enclosure and divider wall, reworked the plumbing, added new drywall and floor tile, installed a new toilet, vanity, sink and shower controls, installed a ceiling fan, reworked electrical outlets and switches and patched and re-painted the room throughout. He was very courteous and did an excellent job keeping the work area and adjacent room cleaned up each day before leaving.

The work was excellent but seemed a bit pricey for the work that was done.

HE WAS VERY EASY TO WORK WITH, VERY HONEST AND STRAIGHTFORWARD. IF THERE WERE ANY PROBLEMS YOU KNEW ABOUT THEM RIGHT AWAY. MY COUSINS HAVE USED THEM ALSO AND WERE VERY PLEASED WITH THEIR RESULTS AS WELL.

STEVE DIDN'T SEE ANY STRUCTURAL PROBLEMS THAT NEEDED TO BE ADDRESSED. HE OFFERED GENERAL SUGGESTIONS TO REMEDY BOTH PROBLEMS. SUGGESTIONS WERE HELPFUL, AND HE DIDN'T EVEN CHARGE FOR HIS TRIP OUT TO LOOK AT THE AREA.

DECENT SERVICE WITH ONLY A FEW ISSUES, INCLUDING PURCHASING STANDARD DOOR SIZE FOR A NONE STANDARD SIZE ENTRY, AND VARIATIONS STAIN. VERY PLEASANT AND PROFESSIONAL IN MOST MATTERS. WILL USE HIM AGAIN

PROMPT, FRIENDLY, VERY HELPFUL. RECOMMENDED TO ANOTHER FRIEND ALREADY. COST WAS CLOSE TO LOWEST BID, HALF OF HIGHEST. STEVE IS VERY FRIENDLY, LAUGHS A LOT. WENT OUT OF HIS WAY TO HELP US FIND HANDICAPPED STUFF WE NEEDED.
