They also provided a separate heating and air conditioning unit for a room we've added on the back of the house. So, basically three units. They come out twice a year to service our equipment.

They were recommended by my neighbors when I moved here. I had a couple of people come out to give me bids, but they just seem to have the overall good prices. They're nice people. People seem to keep using them for years.

We ended up getting a service agreement from them.

We have a service agreement with Howald so this was part of that service agreement. It took about 30 minutes. The guy was good and recommended a couple changes, and we will probably take them up on those changes.

We have a long-term maintenance contract with them. They show up on time.

Brad came out and diagnosed the problem. He cleaned the ignition assembly and resolved the issue for minimal cost. I highly recommend using this company in the future. Brad is extremely knowledgeable. He repaired equipment more than 30 years old. He saved me the cost of a replacement unit. When I need a replacement unit I will be calling Howald Heating and Air.

The price was part of a yearly contract that I have. I like that it's a family owned business. They call me and schedule in advance. It takes about an hour for them to complete the service. I've been using them since 2013.

As advertised, Howald Heating provides 24/7 emergency repair on HVAC systems. It was 10pm when we realized the heater was not functioning properly, only pushing out air for 2 minutes then shutting down. We called at 10pm and they had a tech call within a half hour to assist by phone. Issue we had required onsite assistance so by 11pm the tech, Dan, was at the house. Dan was very good with customer service and his knowledge of HVAC systems. In all this was a great company and personnel to work with. Have had two horror stories with HVAC companies but I will continue services with Howald for years to come!

They're an A+. It's phenomenal. Price is fair. It's good.

They took care of me in less than a week

we called howald at 5pm. david arrived 2 hours later and found the problem. he gave us our options and we elected to replace the unit. the technician, destin arrived 9pm and gave us our price options and promised delivery on Friday morning. 9am on Friday erik and Russell arrived with the furnace and it was running by 11am. all this on a holiday weekend! the following week a quality rep from howald came to inspect the work

Lucky me! At 10:30am I received a call saying the installers were on their way. Russ and Scott completed the job in only two hours. The furnace is working great. It's quiet and warm. Thanks Howald for your speedy delivery to this senior citizen. You're the best!

Larry got here right away to give us an estimate and the technicians arrived much sooner than I would have expected once we had agreed to proceed with the installation.

Their customer service is professional. I don't have to wait long for service. I feel I am in good hands with them!

Amazingly responsive! For the first time in more than 40 years of outstanding service (heating, air conditioning and plumbing services), from Howald Heating, I noticed a problem with the duct cleaning I had hired, after their servicemen left. I sent an email to the business owner, Larry Howald, (well after business hours) and had a response back that same night, setting up an appointment to return and make it right. Larry Howald personally came to our home to evaluate and correct the problem. It is clear to see why this is such a successful company!

We have had several issues with this AC over the last handful of years. Each spring the same problem would happen. After going through other companies, that were clearly guessing on what the problem was and charging us for the blind guesses instead of saying they didn't know, I ended up going with Howald at the advice of a friend. At that time, two years ago, Howald realized we had an electrical problem and not an AC problem at all...didn't charge us for the visit and the estimate. I left a review on that two years ago, but I was impressed with the technician, his professionalism, and how fair and honest they seemed to treat me. I knew I would call them for all my future HVAC and Plumbing needs. That opportunity was this last weekend. Our AC, out of nowhere stopped blowing cold air. And then, the fan stopped working after about a day before they could get out and service the AC. The same tech, Lou, from last time showed up and remembered my prior issue. At a glance, he thought it might need about $1,000 in repairs, which I was open to paying. Before we pulled the trigger on that he tried one other thing - which long story short ended up working. Got the total job fixed by replacing a $200 something part and the service call charge. The job seemed fairly straight forward, and it didn't seem like he performed a miracle to fix it or anything, but what impressed me the most, again, was how honest I felt I was being treated. Knowing there was a history of repairs, and knowing I was open minded about that and therefore willing to pay the $1,000 to fix it, he could have easily charged more for the trip and made more money off of me. Not one thing about the experience made me feel he was doing anything more than an honest job and treating me like a trusting, loyal, family man of a customer. I had two prior AC companies, both big and local, that either didn't know what they were doing and, worse, on one of them I caught them in fraud and almost sued them except I was so grossed out by them it wasn't even worth it....I just wanted to make sure I never used/saw them again. Howald has been the opposite. Any company that is honest and cares like they seem to will ALWAYS get my business along with these long and glowing reviews. I highly highly recommend them - coming from a fairly critical person. The only rating I didn't give an A to was price. Price seemed competitive, but I don't feel like it was amazingly different than what a competitor would have charged or anything.......not sure it was necessarily bad or anything, just not ''great'' so I gave it a B.

Dustin came out and gave us excellent recommendations based on how long we plan to be in the house, what would be sufficient, brands that would be acceptable and all at a very reasonable cost. We procrastinated and ended up needing them on a really cold day when our furnace finally went out. Dustin got right back to me and they actually were able to come out that next day! We were very happy. They just called me for my "prepaid" AC tune up so I'm scheduling that next. Thank you to Dustin for great service, responsiveness and follow up.

We were a no cool on a Saturday at 7:00PM. Howald was able to make it out that evening and had us up and going and cool by bedtime. We were afraid it was a major issue and they found it was something simple and it was only a service call. They did not try to upsell or inflate the issue. Highly recommended! Thanks Howald!

The provider NEVER called, and when we called to see why they did not; the lady on the phone was completely rude. When we told her that we found them on Angie's List, she just became even more short, and then ended the call by saying someone would call you... We chose not call someone else to perform services for us. I guess some businesses do not value customer service.

This company is very professional and do the work at a very good price and would recommend to anyone who wants heating plumbing or air conditioning done well.

He scheduled a time to come out to my home on 4/25/16 at 1pm but never showed or called. Needless to say, we'll be going with a different provider for getting a new AC unit.
