Dustin was on time, very friendly and did a awesome job. He was very informative with the questions I had. This company use to be Broad Ripple Heating and Cooling and I will always use Howald Heating & Cooling. Thanks again Dustin, as I told you, we'll request you for future calls.

He focused mostly on the heating part of the system. The owner of the company came the next day. He showed me all the options and didn't try to up sell me at all. I'll do business with them again.

They’re a local company. We used another company for years and the owner sold it to a national company because he was ill. His daughters opened Howald and we went with them. We will use them as long as we live here.

I've never worked with a better company and was so impressed by their craftmanship and professionalism. The unit works great, and the care they took during the install was just A+. If you need an AC system, these are the people to talk to. Highly recommend!

This is the second time I've used Howalds, and I love them. I truly trust them, which is rare for me with service companies. The first visit was last fall after signing up for the maintenance agreement (fall & spring cleaning/checkup), where i had the furnace checked and cleaned, as well as the AC unit examined. I had thought I was running low on Freon, but after a check he said it just needed cleaning, and he topped off the freon anyway, for free. Great first impression. This past visit was after the AC unit stopped working. They were able to come out the same day, and diagnosed a problem with the capacitor. He said I could buy it from them at just over $200, or get it myself for $25 at Grainger and hook it up. He showed me how simple it was to hook up, and walked me through the process. I was able to go get the part and hook everything up within an hour - and it's working great! It's this kind of honesty, that I didn't expect in today's landscape, that has made me a loyal customer of Howalt. I will use them exclusively for all my Heating and Air needs, and will even give them a try on my next Plumbing emergency.

I am a Realtor and needed a flue pipe changed out for a client. The pipe turned out to be a trickier situation than originally contemplated as the part is no longer manufactured and needed to be customized. Two visits were needed and a miscommunication on pricing was handled exceedingly well by the owner. Very happy to work with a locally-owned and operated HVAC company again.

I called for an appointment on May8th and it was set for the next day. The service tech called to say he was on the way and arrived well within the time window. He cleaned my ac unit and charged it with Freon and discussed the possible cost of a new unit without any pressure sales techniques or offers. I was very pleased with his service.

The serviceman responded on same day service call was requested. A simple adjustment to the unit was made at no charge. Serviceman was very polite and professional. Highly recommend this company.

They are a good company. They are very professional and respectful. They know what they are doing and if they don't know, they get someone that does know.

We did not spend nearly as much as we thought. They came back and didn’t charge us like two times. They came to just check on the stuff. They wanted to make sure everything was working fine. They came right away. We had another problem, and they came right back. They gave us their cell phone numbers to call. I would use them again in the future.

The service technician was on time. He spent approximately 2 hours cleaning and checking my furnace. The solenoid was bad and had to be replaced. The cost to replace the solenoid was $238 and I signed up for their service contract (checking of the furnace and AC) for $150 a year. I feel this is a really good deal.

The salesman came to my condo beforehand, and reviewd my situation, then gave me an estimate of the cost as well as an estimate of the installation date, to which they adhered. The installation personnel made sure they were meeting my expectations all the while they were installing the new furnace, and answered all my questions.

Our heating unit was only blowing cool air, so we called for an appointment on a Friday in December to have it repaired. The staff was great from the minute we called to schedule the appointment, and we were able to get someone out the same day. The tech was very nice, arrived right on time, and fixed our problem within an hour of arriving. He also showed us what we could do, and what he would have to do, so he saved us some money too. The only negative is that the 10% coupon we gave him from Angie's List was not appled to our bill for some reason...

It went well. They do a good job and are very thorough. I feel that they do a good job of explaining what they find.

I called Howald to find out about getting a new electric furnace. Don Branham came to my home and spent plenty of time educating me on my options. I checked out another heating/ac provider, which was equally friendly and helpful. Both were willing to provide the same unit at the same price. I chose Howald because of my past relationship with them. They used to be Broad Ripple Heating and Plumbing before they were bought by Service Experts. Jay, a technician, has serviced my furnace both as a Broad Ripple and Service Expert employee. He is now with Howald. I trust him, he has always been prompt, fair and honest. That was the biggest reason I chose Howald.

Our furnace failed, their service man came the same day and briefly restarted it. This was a furnace that Howald installed in 1984 under his prior company name. We had there salesman come by the next day to quote new equipment. Various efficiency options were quoted. The new furnace was then installed the next day, so we were only without heat for one day. The AC equipment was installed a few days later. The salesman and the installation technicians were cooperative and informative. The new system is much quieter than the prior system and the installation was very neat.

The technician showed up on time and I received a call about 20 minutes be for his arrival to let me know he was on his way.He perform and seasonal check of my gas furnace and q quick check of the AC compressor. He performed this quickly and professionally, even though I and an friend were in the middle of assembling a cabinet in my garage (where the furnace is) at the same time. This made his task more difficult because we had many things scattered around the be had to walk around anytime he had to go from the furnace area to his truck. He never once complained about about.I am very impressed with this companies service and have signed up for their twice a year checkup program. I paid one fee when the performed the furnace check and that covers this work and they will be back in the spring to provide the seasonal checkup for my air conditioning system.S

I went to the location to buy a filter. Sold me a furnace filter for $40.00 and service experts charged me $75.00. I now have a contract with them to do the work for next year. The work that they did was the fall service on my furnace. The fellow that came out did work on my furnace several years ago. I am very happy with the services.

They were friendly and on time. I had to change times and they were able to change the time and still come out the same day at the time I requested. They cleaned up well after the job. They also suggested a few things that were very helpful.

Larry Howald' heating businesses have been my heating and AC choice for over 35 years, four houses, and four complete installation. I was really pleased to know that he was back in business as Howald Heating and AC when my heat pump died. This service was quickly completed and although expensive, it was cost effective to repair the unit rather than replace it at this time. Larry and his entire staff have my strongest recommendation. They are a family committed to providing excellent service.

Just as the weather turned cold my old oil furnace had problems that were going to cost more than I wanted in repairs. I asked the technician for an estimate for a new furnace and that evening, Paul came out and gave me an estimate. I was thrilled that they could start the job the following morning. Jason and Brad began early and stayed until it got dark and everything was complete! They had to cut up and remove the large old furnace from the basement, but they did so without any mess. It was nice having heat following two days without.
