They messed up my backsplash so I'm not very happy with them. The sink they put in for me started leaking. I made them aware of it. He came in, looked at it and did nothing. It kept leaking so I hired somebody else to fix it. They did a terrible job with my backsplash. I'm not happy with them at all.

This service was great! Gary and his partner showed up on time as scheduled, they were polite, fixed a few minor repairs I needed quickly and got in and out during my lunch hour. Price was very reasonable. I will absolutely use them in the future.

The guys did great work! I purchased the handyman 4 hour package as a Christmas gift for my parents to install two doors, and they completed everything needed in time. They were very professional, and had the skills and knowledge to complete with ease. I will be using them again for future renovation needs!

This was the second time I called HouseMasters to do some minor work around the house. Both times Gary provided excellent service. Will call again next time I need someone.

Had to point out several missed spots that needed correction. Worker tracked grout on shoes around the house. I had to clean grout out of carpet. Repairs did not last and I had to redo work myself after only a few months.

OK - It was a difficult space, but he got?the dishwasher?in by adjusting/using shims to raise countertop so it would fit.? He didn't secure it with screws so it would lean forward every time we used it.? We fixed this ourselves, but felt like he did an incomplete job.? There was a component that wasn't supplied with the dishwasher and he did provide one of his own for no additional cost.? He was a nice man and did a fair job for a decent price?with quick response.

He checked all of the caulking and grout, even thought of some places no one had previously thought of.

I previously hired housemasters around November 2014 to install toilets and floor trim in bathrooms after I had flooring installed from lowes. Housemasters also cut and put on countertop sink rails and caulked countertop. I was happy with the sinkrails, especially since I had gone a year without having any corner pieces on (I did the counter and backsplash December 2013). I thought the caulking was a little wide but I am not that particular obviously so I was fine with it. The trim in many places isn't tight against the wall but I can live with that also. I like to stick with who and what I know so when one of the two toilets Housemasters installed in November 2014 started leaking water out of the bottom I decided to hire them again and thinking the time to fix that problem might be resolved without cost to me since it was Housemasters that installed it about 6 months prior. I also had a bunch of small projects such as putting up shelves, screens in windows. repair drywall, reattach ceiling fan and so on. I paid on june 1 and on june 3 was contacted by housemasters that they could come out june 17, 18 or after july 6. I really didn't want to be without master bedroom toilet for another two weeks but I already paid so accepted it. On june 9 we scheduled for 8am on june 18 and on june 12 I contacted Housemasters and asked if they could either come out at 730 or 930 on june 18 because I had to take daughter to tennis lesson from 8-9. I didn't receive a response from Housemasters from June 12 through the 18th but assumed since we had already settled on june 18 at 8 that they would either be out at 730 or 930 or worse case scenario show up at 8 and I would leave my daughters practice and be home in 15 minutes. Housemasters just didn't show and never contacted me letting me know that they wouldn't be showing up or a reason why they didn't show. Hopefully the handyman I have now had to hire who will be coming out next Thursday will be a better experience as far as showing up and quality of work. I hope this might be helpful to someone who is trying to find a handyman

This was on a Monday (5/27), and he told us he would have the estimate written up and emailed to me by Saturday. It's been almost two weeks and I haven't heard from him. I let a stranger walk around our house and have nothing to show for it. Don't use HouseMasters!

Work was performed and sealer sprayed on and left to dry. I had to do the final clean up. Some areas were missed. And now the grout is coming loose. Pieces are flaking off. In the worker's defense, I did not and have not called him back to give him a chance to make it right. I was in the middle of my busy season at work and could not take off more time to be there.

Gary Doty on time and did everything I had on my to do list in the 4 hours that I had bought on-line. He was friendly and helpful and a pleasure to work with.

Housemasters caulked my kitchen and bathroom countertops and did a good job. When I asked him if he would give me a quote to repair a couple pieces of vinyl siding, I didn't hear back from him. I thought maybe he forgot, so I contacted him again on 4-7. He told me he would come out and see what I wanted done and get back with me even though I sent him pictures of the job. He was going to come at a time when I wasn't home so I don't know if he ever came. He also told me that he would have to determine the brand and the color of the siding. He emailed me on 4-11 and told me he was looking for the style and color and would get back with me by 4-14. In the mean time, I was able to obtain that information and sent him an email and also left him a voicemail. I did not receive a response. I contacted him one more time via email and asked him if he was still interested in doing the job. I still have not received a response.

The work done by Gary was great! He was prompt and a pleasure to work with. Very precise and knowledgeable. We are very pleased with all of the work done for us. We will be having him back to do some painting. So glad we have a handyman we can hire from now on. Thanks for everything, Gary.

I sent an e-mail at least one week prior to the appointment to let him know that he would need gray grout....he didn't come with any grout or tell me to get it. So he had to make a trip to Lowes....I'm downtown so this took a bit of time....time I was away from work. He was pleasant enough. Said he had to wait for grout to dry....but I really think he needed to go out and take a smoke. REEKED of cigarette smoke when he came back in and I don't think the grout was dry. It shrunk up and here are still divots. I asked him to clean out really worn grout around my sink and believe this job was sub-par. He still had time left in the appointment to do a better job.

It went well. He cleaned up after himself and didn't take that long. He was on time and no problems at all.

Shane was very professional and knowledgeable. He showed up on time and was able to answer all of our questions throughout the process. He had the report prepared at the end of the inspection, and went over it with us before he left. He offered many suggestions for maintenance items and pointed out some items that needed further investigation. We received the report by email that night. Housemasters did an excellent job!

The guys showed up right at 9am, just like they said they would, and jumped right in. They were very polite and professional and knocked out our problems quickly. We had to open the wall in an adjacent room, behind the upstairs cabinets, in order for them to get to the pipe. They replaced a section of older copper pipe with a new run of PEX. They verified that there were no leaks and that everything was in order. Once done with that, they repaired the hole to access the pipe and the damaged section of drywall downstairs. While Gary was doing that, his partner was pulling down the damaged drywall from our roof leak. They replaced, taped, and mudded the new drywall in no time and cleaned up. They did a great job of cleaning up, no mess left at all. Today, they had a guy come out to match the texture of our ceilings and he was in and out in less than an hour. According to my wife's text, "Ceilings look great!". We'll definitely have Housemasters back for other jobs. They were top notch, in my opinion.

It is beautiful and only took a few hours! Housemasters will be my only remodeling works! Love love love him! Gary Doty is the best!!!!

I have had Gary complete numerous projects around my house. Everything from sump pump installation to basic electrical work. Very thorough and fair in his pricing/workmanship. Definitely will use him again

He answered the phone but he said he wasn’t there. I was under the impression that I would be talking to the owner himself. He never said the name of his business. He said he would have him call when he got back in. I never got a call back. At 8:45 this morning, I received a call saying he was at my house. I was surprised because we had never made an appointment. I wasn’t expecting him to come because he never called back to set up the appointment. He said he thought he had called back to make the appointment. I knew that the guy on the phone was indeed the owner based on his voice and he was able to repeat our conversation on the phone. I had him give me an estimate. He gave me an extremely expensive quote for a job that has already been started that has the majority of the materials already. I would not recommend him to others.
