The sales process is too pushy, but the owner taking measurements was very professional and friendly. Six weeks later the installation seemed to go well, and we assumed that was that. Then the first rain came... And we realized that our new $1,300 window leaked everywhere. We were dumbfounded. Our nice new window was leaking?! It turns out the guys who installed it hadn't bothered to caulk anything, and had left a rather substantial gap along the top of the window. It took a big rain to notice it pouring in, but it had undoubtedly been leaking smaller amounts for months by the time that happened. Who knows how much moisture is now in the wall, or whether it will cause mold eventually, only because of a faulty, half-hearted installation. So no, I would never use Hoosier again and would not recommend them to anyone else. This was a rookie mistake by a supposedly professional company, and we've learned our lesson.

WE DID NOT USE THEM FOR ANYTHING. The salesman quoted us $18,000 for our ROOF ALONE (32 squares). We recieved two other quotes for both roof and siding, both quotes were for around same price BUT for the entire job of roof and siding. The salesman belittled us and actually made me feel bad for wanting to do more research. I ended up doing a lot of research along with taking to other people who had nothing to gain. We found shingles very close to what this company quoted with not only a better warranty on the shingles but on labor as well. The salesman ACTIVATED tried to tell us he wouldn't charge for the tear off but for $18,000 I can guarantee their billing. I have no idea what kind of work this company does but they definitely attempted to RIP us off. Oh yeah, the salesman started his speech by telling us him and the owners believe in God....I suppose that means their honest....

We could tell he was very passionate & sincere about helping us with the problem effiecency areas of our home. The compete experience from meeting our needs to final install was seamless & on point. I was very happy with the whole process! The sales guy that came out was very courteous and knowledgeable about the windows. I decided to add some etching to one of the windows to give it an elegant design. It looks amazing! I would highly recommend adding some of the upgrades they offer to the windows. It seemed like the installers went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with the process as they were installing each window. They even made a special trip to the hardware store to pick up different trim for my windows that they thought would look better than what they originally had. I was very surprised by how much of a difference the new windows made. I live on a busy road and the sound from the traffic was almost the reason I did not buy the house. Hoosier Windows & Siding fixed this problem! I didn't even know it was a fixable problem to begin with! It is so much quieter now, I couldn't be happier! About two weeks after the installation was completely finished, a lady from the office called me just to make sure I was happy with everything and didn't come up with any questions or concerns. I would recommend Hoosier Windows & Siding to anyone!

Installers were professional and helpful. They cleaned up the areas nicely. They had to come back to work on one window but came out promptly and took care of the problem.

They installed a product that wasn't what I ordered, they left nails and screws in the driveway, and left other messes around the house. Additionally, they blamed me for a problem with the windows' installation after coming out to inspect the windows. Ultimately, I no longer do business with this company, and I encourage others to do the same.

Had 3 quotes from companies around Fort Wayne and they were very competitive. We were looking for basic double hung windows, but wider windows for a business. All three companies had a similar window, but the sales rep with Hoosier Windows was professional and waste our time bashing the other window companies during the estimate (like the other two companies did). He was more focused on the product, service and guarantees that his company provided. In the end, tHoosier Windows was priced fairly, but did lower their estimate to get the job. Several workers showed up on the scheduled day and as they removed one window, they would put in the new window right away. It took most of the business day to remove 7 windows and replace them. All was done but a little trim work which they had to finish up the following week because the finishing trim they had was not the correct size. That was fine, because you couldn't tell any trim was missing. They came back toward the end of the following week and finished up the little trim molding that was needed. We are very pleased with the work. The installers were very efficient and friendly. They hauled off and disposed of the old windows. They cleaned up the areas and didn't leave a mess behind. Very pleased with the windows and it was a job well done. It's been a couple of months since this job was done and we are very happy with the windows. They are smooth opening, easy to clean and look great. We would use them again!

They came out and were prompt. We ended up going with a different company but they were fine.

They did this in the summer in a 102 degrees. They really did a nice job. I was happy with the service.

The installation on the entry door and two windows was very well done. The company came when they said they would, cleaned up their mess, and were very courteous. However with the storm door, they did not install the catch plate for the lock. We were told that they just couldn't make it fit right. After contacting the company numerous times and being told that someone would look at the problem and fix it, no one has done anything. If you pay over $3000 for work, you expect it to be completed correctly.

We signed up to win a house full of free windows during the Three Rivers Festival. I received a phone call from a company rep who wanted to verify the information on the form I filled out. It started out OK with her asking me general questions. I explained to her that the address on the form was not the address of the house that needed windows because we were purchasing a home. I told her the age of the home was 67 years. She asked me why I needed windows and I explained to her that six of the windows were new but the ones that were old were not functioning properly. I told her we were closing July 31 but not planning on moving until October. She then said she could call me on July 31 so they could come out and give me an estimate. I told her I probably wouldn't be around that day and she says "of course, you'll be moving". I said "no, I told you we are closing that day and moving in October AFTER we make changes." She wanted to know what else we were doing to the house and I told her replacing entry doors and some work in the kitchen. She then said to me "Oh! So you're purchasing a fixer-upper". Well I found that assumption totally ignorant. I said "No, it's not a fixer-upper, I just want to personalize it". She says "ok, so you said you only need six windows?". I said "no, I said six of the windows are new. The house has 17 windows, six of which are already new." She asked again about the address on the form, if that was the house we were buying. I said "We already talked about this. I told you the address on the form is where I'm living now, but that the house we are buying is 67 years old." She asked if there was a Mr. D****. I said "no, it's my boyfriend and I who are purchasing the house and you'll come across his name soon, so just attach his form to mine so you don't have to call back here again." She then started for a 3rd time about the address where we were currently living and if that was the house we were purchasing. By this time, I was really wondering about the ability for her to take down ANY correct information. She was grating my nerves because I was continually repeating answers to the same questions. I finally told her to take my name and throw it away. I told her that I was really not wanting to do business with a company that had employees who couldn't perform their job any better than she was. I hung up the phone. 2 minutes later my phone rings and when I answer it, it's her telling me that she didn't appreciate me insulting her intelligence. I really don't understand how you can insult something that doesn't exist. I will NEVER do business with this company.

We signed up for an estimate from this company when we attended the Ft Wayne home show. The beginning of the sales pitch started off on a positive note. However, throughout the sales pitch we noted several references to religious preferences and overall approach to life. Made us a little uncomfortable but we ignored it. Quality of windows appeared to be good, but deciding point was on price. We had another company who was able to give us triple pane windows for the same price but with wood grain upgrades and a few other items. At this point presentation went downhill with sales rep trying to "guilt" us into buying windows from him so his wife would be happy, his workers would have a job and even asking us if we had done our due diligence. Before he had given us his price he made us promise not to share his price but had asked us to share pricing of others with him if possible. When we told him we declined his windows due to pricing, he tried very hard to get us to go back on our word to other company to disclose their price to him. I clearly stated I felt that it was unethical as I had made a promise and was upset he would go to such extremes to get me to go back on my word. Did not leave me with a positive impression of him when I had initially told him that if we found the other company had bad ratings his company would be next in our preference list as he was last company to do their demo/sales pitch. Over the next few days, as we were working to finalize the financing aspect, I received a credit report email stating someone had filed a request for my credit. When I looked into it, Hoosier had checked my credit report prior to coming to sales demo. I was extremely upset as I did not recall giving them permission and had in fact expressly told them I was not interested in their financing options when we scheduled appointment over the phone as I already had financing lined up. I called them to find out why and after a week with no response they called back to state I had signed a card at the home show stating I gave them permission to pull my credit report. I pulled an extra copy of that card from my bag and found the statement they were referencing in small print. In verifying my memory with my husband, the only reason we had signed that card was because it was late in the day at the home show and the company rep stated he had run out of sign-up sheets for the energy audits and asked us to fill out this card instead and then stated card wouldn't be accepted by the office as a way to contact us unless it was signed. He never pointed out we would have our credit report pulled. And all I gave them was name, address, and phone #. Not only did I feel this was an underhanded approach to getting permission but this particular credit report was pulled the day before our bank pulled a report to finalize financing options. This meant our credit report dropped a few points below a threshold mark and impacted the final interest on our window loan.
