+ -1 moreA job that could have been done in 5 days was dragged out past the date that we where told the project would be done. At that point the work was so bad we did not have them come back the last day. One employee that seem to run the job, seem to always make excuses. Hoosier Exteriors may be good on exterior work but definitely not interior work. Needless to say we will have to have another company come and fix the work they did.
Description of Work: We hired Hoosier Exteriors to remove old carpet, do dry wall work, and add two interior windows in our office space.

Description of Work: Tyler patched a hole in roof. New decking, patch/sealed decking, and new shingles. He also quoted a roof replacement and left shingle samples. I will likely call Hoosier Exteriors when it's time to replace roof.

Description of Work: I purchased the "Roof tuneup special" advertised on Angie's list. Tyler did an excellent job of replacing several missing and broken shingles, also correctly installed the soil pipe gasket that I had slid over the deteriorated original one. He gave me a quote on replacing my shingles and upgrading my roof system at my request. No high pressure salesmanship, just honest explanations and answers. I will use his company to replace my roof when the time comes, even if his is not the lowest estimate.

Description of Work: Tyler showed up on time to do the basic roof inspection for any minor problems and seal the edges around pipes in the offer I bought off Angie's List. I had told him about a minor leak we noticed where Direct TV had put up a bracket, then decided it was a bad location and moved to a ground location but left the bracket on the roof. We had a leak during a really bad rain storm one night in our bedroom. Tyler removed the bracket (which meant tearing off a couple of shingles, sealed the holes, replaced the shingles and made it look great. He also took some pictures of the roof and warned me that we had some worn places that would probably require a new roof in about 3-5 years.

Description of Work: We hired this company to replace some siding in our house. We were thoroughly disappointed with their lack of experience and know how for this job. | |1) They had hung the new panels without aligning them with the top panels (which did not require replacement). Fortunately I caught this misalignment before they went too far and I had to get them to rip it off and redo the job. | |2)They cut the horizontal boards too short and were trying to patch it with a strip from the old board. Once again I had to intervene to get it corrected. | |3)The following week (5/20) we had another company paint the house. The painters noticed a huge gap between the siding and the horizontal board which was not nailed in and caulked properly. I have pictures to prove this. |I immediately called Hoosier Exteriors and left an urgent message to come immediately and fix the problem before painting continued. Neither Tyler Dailey nor anyone from the company has returned my call or contacted me to date (5/26/2015). |Fortunately the painters had the necessary tools to fix the problem and complete the painting. |I would NOT recommend this company for any siding work.

Description of Work: New roof installation. Workmen showed up on time and completed the job in less than 2 days. Supervisor answered any questions I had. Clean up was thorough and no loose nails have been found since the job completion.

+ -1 moreI had a roof inspection done by Tyler Dailey of Hoosier Exteriors, he suggested I contact my insurance company regarding hail damage. It took 3 trips by 3 adjusters to finally get the claim turned in, due to the weather and time of day, the first 2 adjusters weren't able to examine the whole roof. Tyler came out each time an insurance adjuster came out and went thru the inspections with them, which I hadn't expect. It was nice to know that Tyler was willing to come out as many times as needed to get the inspection done by my insurance company. I had requested my insurance adjuster email any claim information to Tyler as well as myself, so that he could have the information and we could get started on the roof before the weather turned too cold. I received the information(they would cover replacing less than 1/2 the roof) from my insurance company on a Monday and assumed that Tyler received it as well, after a busy work week, I didn't think to check in about a quote, because I didn't know how long it would take. Tyler checked in with me that Friday to see if I got the estimate, turns out my insurance hadn't sent him anything. I sent him the information and within a week he was able to provide a couple of estimates, since he contracts with a couple of different roofing companies. I went with Hoosier Exteriors because their estimate to do the 1/2 roof was less than the other company, including the valleys and dryer vent. I had to pay a chunk out of pocket because my insurance wouldn't cover replacing the valleys because they weren't hail damaged, but i had a leak in the ceiling of my kitchen from needing them replaced, so I couldn't let it get any worse and I had complete confidence that they would get it taken care of for me. I am very happy with the service and quality. I would definitely recommend Tyler Dailey and Hoosier Exteriors to friends and family needing their services.

Description of Work: American Exteriors cleaned the gutters around the entire house and swept the roof free of all debris. They prepped the roof for the upcoming winter season and inspected it for damage. Ian, quite professional, pleasant and thorough, did find a quarter size hole in the roof which he filled. I am very pleased with the work performed as well as with the manner in which it was executed. I asked for an estimate on the cost of replacing the roof, but Ian told me that replacement was not necessary at this time unless I simply wanted to do so for cosmetic purposes with a change of color. I very much appreciate his honesty. I will definitely call American Exteriors in a few years to have the roof replaced.
