They did not do finishh the job. Left us high and dry. Stole all our kitchen appliances after we had paid for them. Very shoddy work. We had to hire someone else to repair all the work they did. Dishonest and unethical people and I would never recommend.

Hired Bryant Burdine and Hoosier Custom Construction to complete a renovation in Fall of last year. Work wasn’t up to par with what you would expect from a real construction or renovation company. Had to have them come back to fix very shoddy drywall work, but even after “fixing” it still looks terrible. When appliances they installed failed, they lied about honoring the warranty (said new equipment was shipped, then it wasn’t) and eventually stopped responding to me. Had to sue in small claims to recoup costs. Bryant never showed in court, and has not responded to my communications regarding judgment, so I have not received the court ordered payment. Avoid this company.

Beware- this was a nightmare. We hired Bryant Burdine of Hoosier Custom Construction to do a complete rehab for an investment property. At first, he seemed very polite, respectable and professional. Then a bigger higher dollar project came along and they left us high and dry. We had already paid them for work which they promised to complete but never did. Bryant assured me he had all our brand new kitchen appliances, HVAC system, and furnace sitting in his garage ready to install, but when it came time to deliver, he would not. He would not return my calls, emails or texts. He kept all of our already paid for equipment and refused to give it to us. We suspect he used them for another project which he left ours for. So, we were out $10,750 due to his unfinished work and all the appliances he kept. But just wait….. it gets worse—Once we placed a tenant in the house, we discovered all of his shoddy workmanship which they did to cut corners. We had to hire someone else just to FIX everything that Bryant did wrong which cost us an additional $12000. We have a long list of the poor work Hoosier Custom Construction performed including the fact that they actually left open plumbing pipes inside the walls and covered them over with drywall to hide them. When our tenant moved in, the walls were leaking water. The toilets were not installed properly, they left a giant hole in the roof which led to water damage, tiles in the kitchen were installed incorrectly. The list goes on and on. Don’t trust their nice professional looking and ‘family oriented’ website. Bryant Burdine of Hoosier Custom Construction LLC took us for a total of $23000. We did not see it coming because he came off as very professional, nice and decent at first. Don’t let it happen to you. I will never recommend working with them to anyone and I hope I can help someone else from making the same mistake we made.

Communication with this company is almost non-existent on their end. We had to call them to get time line, correction for error of roofing over our dryer and bathroom vents, follow up to questions, etc. Shame on them for not being customer minded and trying to meet the customer’s needs up or the rather than us hciasng them down for questions. Would we use them again? Nope!

After initial contact and our signature was on the contract, we heard very little. Communication with Hoosier Roofing is only one way: you calling them. If we didn’t call and prod and call and prod I’m not sure the job would have ever been completed. They never call you. If you don’t call then you hear nothing. Word of advice, select another company. The roof, etc did get replaced and the work was acceptable, even though they had to come back a few times to fix mistakes (they roofed over the openings of our dryer vent and our bathroom vent). We would never use again and would not recommend to anyone.

Well, we picked them because they were markedly cheaper and had room in their schedule (initially). Should've been a bad sign. Bryant and his crew were very nice, like the other reviews say, but it became clear they just didn't know what they were doing and it took them much longer than expected. It didn't help that the crew usually showed up at around 10 in the morning. Professionals should be there "first thing." There are larger than usual gaps between the beams and the craftsmanship leaves a lot to be desired overall. A few weeks after things were finished, boards started warping and popping off. Bryant said a crewmember came out to check it out but we were gone that weekend so it's obvious that didn't happen. We've been trying to get them to come back out and repair and replace the boards with only stalling and excuses. Maybe they're better with interior work, but we won't be finding out, that's for sure. It's clear fixing the job they did isn't a priority.

The owner, Bryant, is a very nice young man. He is very neat and efficient. He did a great job in much less time than I expected. His cost is extremely reasonable. I highly recommend his company and I will hire him again.

Bryant responded quickly and on time to a request for a quote. The price was acceptable, and they were here the next day to do the work. They were a few minutes late arriving, but called to advise us. Jeremiah was excellent on cleaning the windows and replaced the floodlights, and they did a great job reaming out the 2-year accumulation of soot/creosote in the 2-story chimney to our wood furnace.

Great! They arrived 10 minutes early and finished quicker than estimated. They cleaned up after themselves. Very polite and professional. I plan to use their services again.

Bryant called immediately after I searched for a handyman on the internet. He came within 2 hours due to this was an urgent request. Brant was so professional and went back to the store since I had told him the wrong thing on the phone. He was so kind and patient with us. I would recommend this company to anyone who needs a handyman.

Bryant 9 The owner of the company) is GREAT. Very responsive & courteous. Was very through with all the jobs needed & completed them in a quick manner. You could tell although he is young he knew what he is doing. I couldn't be more pleased with his work & work ethic.
