(Removed member name), I apologize for this unfortunate situation. What happened is we had (removed member name) scheduled for a cleaning on that Friday morning and the technician we had scheduled to go to his home did not show up for work that day to a family issue. I contacted (removed member name) that morning at the time we were supposed to be arriving to clean to inform him of the situation and try to remedy the situation in some way by offering different options. The first option I told him about was having another highly rated Angie's List Carpet Cleaning company that a friend of mine owns come out to clean his carpets. He refused to have them come out because he did not have a chance to research that company. The other option was that I would come and clean his carpets that afternoon between 12:00-1:00 because I had scheduled an appointment for that morning. We did have him originally scheduled for the cleaning between 9:30-10:30 and I take responsibility for not being able to service him at that exact time. However, I feel I did offer him some very reasonable options to be able to complete the work that day, but he was just too upset about the whole situation he did not want either of the options I offered him, and he chose to go elsewhere for the cleaning. This was a disappointing situation and we have made changes within our company to make sure this does not happen again. Since this incident we have hired additional technicians with several years of experience and have also completed our company's training program. If I were to have known about our Technician's situation any earlier or the day before, I would have let (removed member name) know ahead of time, and would have had the chance to reschedule my morning appointment to be able to personally go out to his home. This is a disappointing and unfortunate situation that we have learned from as a company and have made necessary steps to insure that it won't happen again. Again (removed member name), I apologize for this and if you would ever be willing to allow our company another chance to earn your business, I will give you 50% off the service for your inconvenience.
