From start to finish, everything went really well - I emailed the company through Angie's List because we had just moved out of our home and needed to have it professionally cleaned. I received an email back from the owner Ken Leffel within a few hours - From there, Ken came out to the house a couple days later and gave me a fair and honest estimate and even explained what was included with the price. Now, I was not home during the cleaning, but I did stop by after work to see how everything looked. As soon as i walked in the house I could tell a difference. It smelled clean & everything looked great! The floors, sink, cabinets...everything in the kitchen was clean & shiny- Same with the bedrooms & bathroom floors, toilette and sink - The crew did a great job, Ken followed up after to make sure I was happy, so it was all around a great experience & I will definitly use them again!

We just purchased a 6yr old home with a move in less than 2 wks. Deanna's crew helped my stress and did such a fabulous job. These women were great!! They were professional and their laughter lifted my spirits. They really cared about the job they did and I noticed they wanted me to be more than satisfied with their job as well. Deanna's crew did an awesome job far above my expectations and I am pretty picky!!

They did a great job cleaning a home that has not been lived in for 2 years. The home was very dusty and the toilets were so rusty I didn't think they would come clean. The toilets were spotless when they finished and so was the rest of the home. The crew of 3 was friendly, cheerful and willing to do anything I wanted. I am going to hire them on a bi-monthly basis. I would recommend them.

Setting up the estimate was easy breezy - Got the quote the following day & the price to have all the carpets cleaned was lower than I expected - Now, I wasn't home during the day of the cleaning (we already moved out) but I stopped by after work and the carpets looked (and smelled) great - Even the high traffic areas looked pretty much new - I will be using them again at our new home and would recommend them to family and friends, as everything went as planned

This review is an update to the review I originally posted on 5/21/2013, after 12 months of experience with their company, the first few being wonderful but the last several being very unsatisfactory. In that review I stated that I did not understand all the 4-star reviews they were getting, and I wondered how I could get a cleaning team that would result in a 4-star review. I rated them C overall, with Quality, Responsiveness and Professionalism all rated D, not only because the results were unsatisfactory but also because I had many conversations with the owner that did not resolve the issues to my satisfaction. I believed he was not listening. After reading that review, the owner, Ken Leffel, contacted me and was very contrite and apologetic. He said that he had not understood the depth of my discontent with the services of the crew assigned to me. The members of the crew changed significantly from the time that I signed on for the service, and that contributed to miscommunication and misunderstanding. Asking what he could do to make it right for me, I could only respond that I needed a crew that could and would do everything on the list, thoroughly, everytime, including the high areas that they would have to reach, no excuses about OSHA and the 2-feet rule. To his credit, Ken was prompt in addressing the situation. He offered to send a crew to clean my house correctly at no expense to me. I explained that in the interim I had placed my home on the market to sell, so I had cleaned it myself and it was quite possibly the cleanest it had ever been, including reconditioning the floors, so I really didn't need anyone out to clean at that juncture. We agreed on a date two weeks in the future. Understanding that all the ceilings in my home are 10 feet (great room tray ceiling is over 11 feet), doors are 8 feet and the kitchen cabinets are very tall reaching 90 inches from the floor, I need someone who can and will reach to clean, even if it means they carry a two-step ladder from room to room. The day the new crew came to clean my home, the team lead, Tanya, towered over 6 feet tall. I smiled. Ken had heard. I asked Tanya to tell me what she was going to do to clean the room we were standing in, and she proceeded to give me a step by step description of the process of cleaning my room, starting with the ceiling and ending with vacuuming the carpet as she backed out of the room, with the appropriate upholstery vacuuming- table dusting- fan blade cleaning -woodwork polishing- blind cleaning- baseboard cleaning (and so forth) accomplished in-between. She and her co-worker proceeded to clean every room in that same manner. When Tanya and her assistant left that day, my home was again as clean as it has ever been. I am very pleased with her work ethic and her attention to detail, and I appreciate that Ken has made every effort to ensure that a client is satisfied with the service they are receiving. I can now give HCCA a 4 star review! After some longer experience with my new team, I will review the service again to see if there is a "honeymoon effect." I expect that review will be as favorable as this, and I expect Tanya will still be cleaning my home as well as she and her assistant did this time. Thank you Ken, Tanya and HCCA.

Scheduling appointment was very easy. However, the Serviceman arrived 15 min later than time frame I was initially given. Took almost 5 hours to complete two medium-small rooms and two staircases, and two closets. Cleaning job was very good, and my 2 year old carpet looks brand new. The older areas also look very good. The only complaint that I had was that one area was very soaked. They told us to stay off for 6 hours, but even a couple of days later, our feet were soaked when walking on it. I called them back and they said they could come and suction some of the excess water. The problem was that they couldn't come back for another two days, by that time most of it had already evaporated. Overall, I am happy with the very good cleaning job.

They didn't do very thorough work. They even broke the stove when they were here. They seemed pre-occupied while working, like they didn't want to be there.

3 ladies arrived on time - worked hard - efficiently- pleasant and nice to have in home. Did walk through to see what the job entailed and then got to work.

They were clean when went to pick them. However they didn’t really get the cat odor out. There may have been miscommunication, as to whether I asked for deodorization or not, so I do have to admit that. They did offered to run the rugs through their system again to take care of it but we declined because we just didn’t want to take the rugs in again & we had a floor-to-floor cleaner coming out soon anyway who would pick up & deliver the rugs.

I felt like they did a great job of deep cleaning the house and they were very thorough.

Tanya came in and got right to work. She was very through & efficient. Best cleaning we ever got! Tanya is also very friendly and agreeable. Plus our office smells great!

Overall, pleased with the service. The two ladies that clean my house are very nice and courteous. The best cleaning job was the first time they were out when we paid them at an hourly rate. They have cleaned two times since then. Each time they have left the house near spotless and the showers cleaner than we've ever been able to get them ourselves. The second time they were out, a few spots were missed when they were dusting, but it was so minimal that it took about 30 seconds for me to take care of. Overall, a wonderful service and a huge weight off of our shoulders.

Overall, I would say it went much better than I was expecting. I thought I was going to have to replace a glass shower door because of how much HARD WATER was caked onto it, but they were able to get it all off besides about a centimeter of the edge because of silicon remnants. When I called, they informed me over the phone about what a cleaning entails, then they came out to my home and did about a twenty minute walk through with me and quoted me a first cleaning price as well as recurring prices for weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly. I thought this was going to be just a one time thing to get our house back in order for springtime, but the night after the cleaning my wife told me that she wanted to start getting a cleaning done every month now. We both have full time jobs so we are unable to be there during the cleaning, so we weren't sure how it was going to work, but one of the owners offered a couple different options. We decided to leave a key out on the day of the cleanings and have them lock the home on their way out. I was worried at first about this because of our alarm and our 2 dogs. They are great with the dogs and the key and alarm hasn't been a problem. They even let my dogs out to the backyard while they were cleaning. Our dogs were the reason we needed a cleaning service and this has worked out great. All stairs and edges of rooms were vacuumed thoroughly. She even vacuumed all of our couches, chairs and cushions. The floors and baseboards were then wiped clean after it was vacuumed. All Bathroom/Kitchen areas were wetwashed and appliances were polished. I was home for the first cleaning and was blown away by the service. I have no problem trusting this company in my home and know they will do good work. The 2 owners/brothers are easy to work with and are always readily accessible and have office staff that are actually there on a daily basis to answer calls and help their clients, unlike some companies. They are also trustworthy. On the first cleaning, the crew took a 10 minute break midway through cleaning and they even listed that out on the invoice they gave me. They are a detailed company and are easily worth the money spent.

My experience with Home Cleaning Centers of America has not been a productive partnership. I was utilizing their services for bi-weekly cleanings. Each time I would come home to what would appear to be a clean, lemon-like smelling house. It was almost as if the cleaning crew had gone through the home and sprayed Lysol before they left to give the appearance and aroma of a sparkling, clean home. The carpets always appeared to be vacuumed and the couches pieced together in some logical fashion. But once you started looking toward the floors on the surfaces which were not carpets, this was where the remnents of what hadn't been cleaned appeared. I always tried to explain this to the owner when I called to see if we could rectify the situation. He was a wonderful people person, always offering to refund money or send another crew out the next day to fix it. After each time, it gets old. In the owner's defense, he did the right thing as far as customer service goes; he wanted to make the situation right for the customer. In a society where customer service is often lacking, the ownership of this company is not lacking. If you're looking for customer service, this company may be good fit for you; I was looking for a company to clean my home. There were two final straws, one of which I can not mention in the review and one which I will, which finally led me to determine I will be hiring a new cleaning service. I was coming home and pulling into my garage; I noticed cigarette butts laying right next to the front steps up to my front door where the crew parks their car. Am I going to get paid to clean up after the cleaning crew? Needless to say, the owner was made aware of everything which was going on. I know he will be able to write his remarks and comments below my review. He did offer to refund my money, but at this point I was ready to be done. He wants to make his company better and I commend him for that; I believe it starts with training and communication. UPDATED: I happened to be outside talking to my neighbors several days after the Bi-Weekly Cleaning, when one of my neighbors told me while I wasn't home the cleaning crew from Home Cleaning Centers of America had been cleaning with the front door of my home opened and the key sticking out of the door handle. She said it was unsupervised so anyone could have grabbed my house key and walked off with it. All of this was going on while the girls were inside cleaning my house, advertising to any passersby to go ahead and have free access. Several of my other neighbors were standing with us when my neighbor told me this, as this was being said another neighbor began to say she had hired the same company to clean her home after seeing them at my home. Hopefully it wont happen to her.

setting up appt. was easy workers arrived within time frame they proposesd workers were busy the entire time.. brought own supplies did a sufficient but not exemplary job...i cleaned the kitchen sink after they left, dusted several areas in the master bedroom that were missed

The three ladies were highly professional and knew exactly what to do, touching every surface, vacuuming all the furniture, etc. It took them three hours. I highly recommend this company for housecleaning.

My husband and I were both very impressed with the initial cleaning. We live in an area with very hard water and had hard water stains on the sinks, showers and toilets. The cleaning ladies were able to remove the hard water stains and everything was shiny and clean. We cannot wait for our next scheduled clean.

Incredible. The team sent to our home were polite, punctual, paying attention to every detail. I was really impressed that towards the end of the day one of the owners came by to review the work that had been done.

They didn't do some of the things that I had expected. The quality of their work wasn't very good and I had to hire someone else to re-do the carpets. I had to finish the cleaning myself. He did reduce the cost a little bit because of this.

Their service was okay and they did a decent job.

I hired HCCA to do a standard deep clean in preparation for the birth of our second child. The three ladies that came to clean were professional, courteous and did an amazing job. Honestly, I'm so happy with the service. Definitely money well spent. I would use them again in the future.

So far, I'm really impressed with this company - the quality of the services performed and especially the customer service. The owner, Ken, came to the house to give us an estimate on doing a one-time deep cleaning and then a monthly scheduled clean after that. He was thorough and friendly. Two women showed up on the agreed upon date, and they were both very friendly. As sometimes happens, the job took them much longer than the estimated time to complete. I was worried because the price is hourly for the first deep clean. But after a call to Ken, the issue was resolved and we agreed on a more reasonable rate. Based on the amazing job the women did cleaning our house and the great customer service from Ken, we will definitely continue to use this company for a monthly cleaning. The kitchen sparkled. the floors were shining. The cobwebs were gone. And everything smelled great!

They have a check list that they go through. They are really good. They are good at locking up. They are respectful of your property. I use the same team every time. I recommend them to other people.

I have used this company for several months. I'm not ecstatic about the service, but it is adequate and I don't have time to clean it myself. I have called several times to ask that lights be turned off and doors not be changed (doors that are closed remain closed, doors that are open remain open). It continues to be a problem. I don't know if the same person comes every month or if it is a different person, which is why the problems recur. I've given up calling to complain about it. I just have a hot or cold house when I come home and I fix all the doors and lights throughout the house. The cleaning is not spectacular, but it is better than I could do, so I'm happy with the service.

High quality cleaning service. While a little expensive for a bi-weekly cleaning, you certainly get what you pay for. My home is always spotless and smells clean; I love coming home from work to find that. The few occasions when the quality was not up to par, the company was extremely responsive at correcting the issue. I always receive a confirmation call the day before the cleaning with an approximate time that the cleaners will arrive. They are always punctual, professional, and effiicient. I am a very satisfied customer.
