HHGregg has the ugliest After-sale Customer Service I have ever encountered. Obviously they do not care about monitoring or controlling their service providers.
Description of Work: I purchased a 5 year protection plan on appliances I purchased in Dec, 2012. The dishwasher developed a problem on 12/26/2016. I telephoned the Call Center and was informed that the earliest service call was 10 Jan 2017. Obviously, this was unacceptable as HHGregg told me how wonderful their extended warranty service was and how quickly the Service Center responded. As you will soon learn, all lies. I personally telephoned Percy's Repair on 26 Dec 2016 and left a message. I NEVER received a return call. I was told the service provider (Percy's Repair) would telephone me the evening before and provide a time slot for my repair. On January 9, 2017, I never received a call from Percy's Repair. On Jamuary 10, 2017 I telephoned the Call Service Center again and asked for a time slot. The customer service center told me I had to telephone Percy's Repair myself. I informed the Customer Service person that Percy's never returned my last phone call, and they apologized by said they could only send an email to Percy's Repair and that someone would call me back. Two-and-one-half hours after my first call on 10 January 2017, I telephoned the Customer Call Center once again and was told that they could not help me. I informed the Call Center that Percy's never returned my original call and that I needed a time slot as I was traveling. The Call Center apologized by said they could not help me.

It was miserable. Once HH Gregg Fine Lines got the credit card number, the support was nil. Problems that continued from June to September were a warming drawer front and handle that weren't ordered as requested, and an interface replacement for the downdraft that was received damaged - twice. The contract with the sales associate for HH Gregg Fine Lines was signed in May but upon installation in July it was discovered no warming drawer front was ordered, the wrong knobs on all of the appliances were ordered and installation didn't include the range downdraft - even though there was a charge. An $8,000 double oven didn't work on installation but the customer was told to follow up with the manufacturer on their own - again no support from Fine Lines. In September the front of the warming drawer was finally installed after escalation. Still waiting for the downdraft range trim kit.
Description of Work: As a part of a major kitchen remodel, we needed to source Wolf, Best and Kitchenaid products. We wanted to give local suppliers the business so decided to give HH Gregg Fine Lines the business to provide double wall ovens, 36" range top, downdraft with inline blower, microwave and warming drawer.

The purchase process went very well, and Anthony Lovett was knowledgable and professional. The scheduling for delivery went smoothly too, although I would prefer to select a narrower time frame than all day. On delivery my installer had not been trained in the installation of my particular washing machine so an additional service call will be required. After that happened the installer asked if I had purchased an open box refrigerator. HH Gregg has sent me a dented floor model. When I refused it I was offered $200 off. No way. Now I have to take additional time off for another all day delivery window. This has been a completely frustrating experience and a total disappointment.
Description of Work: Sent an untrained installer and also sent a floor model refrigerator rather than a new one.

At first I was told refrigerator would be delivered the next day. As I was walking out the door, I was told that refrigerator was not in stock and that salesman would call me with a delivery date. Did not hear anything for a few days so I called about delivery date and told it was scheduled for Friday. I was not available for Friday delivery, so it was scheduled for Saturday. Called HH Gregg at 0930 on Saturday regarding delivery time and was told that refrigerator was not in stock, it was in Kentucky and that salesman was supposed to notify me. I asked that order be canceled.

All the people I dealt with were excellent, the store was clean, but their delivery was terrible. They don’t give you an option for what time of the day you want it delivered and then there were couple of times that they didn’t show up at the time they said they would be here. In fact one day they had to reschedule because I was the last one on their delivery and I had already waited four hours for them and they had to reschedule for another day.

HH Gregg sold my family an extended warranty for a washer 3 years ago. The washer failed during the warranty period. As it turns out HH Gregg outsources the repair to A&E factory Services. It took attempts just to get HH Gregg/A&E Factory Services to examine the washer. We are currently on the 2nd scheduled trip to repair the washer. If they meet their scheduled appintment for next week it will have taken 3 days short of a month to complete the repair. HH Gregg sold the extended Waranty but when you contact them they pass the responsibility on to A&E Factory Services and when you complain to A&E Factory Services they suggest if you want to file a complaint then contact HH Gregg. It's a never ending circle with neither party helping the consumer. But the time everything is handled we'll have another $200-250 tied up laundromat expenses plus the expense of the $200 extended warranty. The bottom line is that what originally turned out to be a good decision to purchased the extended Waranty will end up being almost a wash financially because of both company's poor handling of the Waranty clain.

After several discussions with our sales person, we purchased a flat screen tv that has been perfect for our family. When we left the store around 7 pm we discovered we had a flat tire. There was a problem with the mechanism that lowes the spare tire. At least 4 HHGregg employees came out to assist us. We were so impressed with their unsolicited willingness to help us. We were happy with the service and the price.
Description of Work: We wanted to purchase a flat screen television but had very little knowledge about the different types of technology. Our sales person was very helpful in explaining the pros and cons of plasma, LCD and led screens.

They were punctual, they were on time, and they asked me if I wanted to have the stove taken out or keep it. I let them take the stove away because I didn't have any use for it, it didn't work. They seemed to care about my home, they put slippers on their feet, and made sure they didn't track any mud. Their price is comparable to other places. Nothing's too expensive anymore. As far as could I get it cheaper somewhere else? Probably not.
Description of Work: The last time we used Hh Gregg was when they serviced my microwave, but we bought a stove from them 2 years ago. 6 months in, I had an issue with the door so they came out and fixed the door, and then the mother board went down on it, and then they gave me a refund to go back and get a totally different stove.

They were very helpful. We did install it ourselves. We purchased a 5 year service agreement just in case. As soon as they received the dishwasher in their warehouse they called us to pick it up. It has been a wonderful experience ever since. It is blissfully quiet.

They would not come down on the price of the TV at all. I like the TV but I think they could have given me a little bit of a discount. Also the salesman made me feel like I was being rushed in a way. I do like the TV so far, but I probably should have waited and went somewhere else; bought locally where the people are friendlier in a smaller town. No one offered to help us out with it, either.

We called the store and they made a big hassle over it, so we are not too pleased with them. We spent probably about $1800 on that service. We had more than one problem with them as far as buying contracts from them and them not honoring the agreement. It was not just this most recent situation, but in the past as well when my wife and I purchased an extended agreement. It is specifically said that if we don’t use this agreement within a time-frame they would refund all our money, but what they wanted to do was to was to pro-rate it and that is not what the contract had said at all. We had to go to the state attorney’s office and Better Business Bureau to get some satisfaction. I contacted them about three times and the last time was last Thursday.

HH Gregg did not honor our contract on the set of appliances we bought in 2006. I've had nothing but a hassle trying to get them to fix our appliance. They have two different providers now depending on when you purchased the appliance. I called the store and they gave me a big hassle over the situation. I've had more than one problem with HH Greg as far as buying contracts with them and they didn't own up to the agreement. The contract specifically stated if you don't use this agreement within a specific time frame they would refund your money. But, they at best wanted to pro rate it which is not what the contract states. I had to go to the state's attorney generals office and better business bureau to get the issue resolved.

Great process. Had the oven removed at the time of measuring estimate, as we knew the enclosure had to be modified. Some delays in getting modifications, but were done well in the end. While waiting for oven to arrive, dishwasher was subject to recall so that was added to my purchase. The Fine Lines sales person, and installers were especially courteous and professional. Experience might or might nor vary outside of Fine Lines division...

It went pretty good. They didn't measure right the first time but they did come back and fix the problem. There was a problem with the oven top later but they did come and fix it. It did take a few calls but they did. They are all different stores so it may take time to find the right one.

Stopped into HH Gregg on a Friday afternoon. Had done research on what type of TV we wanted to get. Would have purchased from another store, but they had no delivery service, or access to hook me up with a delivery service. So, took all my other store information to HH Gregg and they had the exact TV I was looking at at $250 more. The salesman spoke to his manager, and they agreed to meet the price from the other store. I had also looked at stands on the internet and they had the stand there in the store. The only difference was the extended warranty, which I purchased and felt was necessary in case something would go wrong. The salesman asked me if I could take delivery the next day! I did. The delivery guys were very knowledgeable and moved my TV's around in the house, finished assembling the stand we almost had done, and got everything set up in about 40 min. This included showing us how to work everything. Very pleased with this $60 delivery and set up.

This company was not responsible to my belongings or to my financial loss. I am not a multi-million dollar company that replaced my TV with ease. I had to work hard and believe me, as I thought long and hard about how HH Gregg took great care to lose my TV. Then great care is not telling me they lost it. Then great care in making me pay for their mistake. I have no faith in this company anymore or their management. My family use to be able to enjoy shopping there. We came from a long family history of loving this company to now being able to say HH Gregg is just like all of the rest. It is all about money and profit not the customer and reputation the way it use to be.
Description of Work: I needed a $400 Toshiba TV (that was around 1 year old) repaired at HH Gregg, it would be $95 to tell me what was wrong. They indicated it needed a part and the part would be ordered. Over a three year period I was contacted about once every 7 or 8 months to tell me the part was in the ocean on a boat. I was very frustrated. No solutions were offered other then wait. Eventually I hadn't heard anything. I phoned and the management told me they were unable to find my order. I gave them all of my paperwork information. They tracked it. They said since it had been so long since the TV was in repair that they would only offer me a settlement amount. HH Gregg should be ashamed of themselves. I not only lost a TV. But I lost my faith in this company. Now if I purchase here I know there is no GOOD customer service. I received an amount of money from HH Gregg that was like take it or leave it. It only covered the $95 and basic gas to go pick up the check.
